Lucas “Lucky” Cartwright has spent the past eight years of his life behind bars. Now a free man, he’s ready to reunite with his family and get his life back on track. He didn't have time for either, but his heart wouldn't allow him to turn his back on his family or the new woman in his life. His hand was now being forced and his only concern was ensuring the safety of the ones he loved, even if that means doing what he’s vowed to never do again. Lucas quickly realizes that even with his newfound freedom, he’s not so “free” after all.
