I enjoyed this cute and quick cowboy romance. It really makes being in the wrong place at the right time something awesome. The chemistry between the two characters was instant and fun to read about. I can't wait for the next book!

Book 1 in the Wilder Brothers Rodeo series and what a great start. Sonya is having the worst day of her life so her friend Jillian decides to cheer her up by sneaking into an event. Sonya’s day starts to look much better when she meets a very hot cowboy. Will she be able to keep him once he finds out she is not who she says she is? Great read and I can’t wait to read Hudson and Jillian’s story.

This was a cute cowboy romance, not too spicy, but maybe a little too rushed? I just wish this book was a bit longer, but it was cute!

I’m going to eat up a cowboy romance every single time! This was such a fun, quick read with just the right amount of spice for this short read. Insta love, hot bull rider?! Say less! 4⭐️Can’t wait for Hudson and Jillian’s story!

Colt is a great first book in the Wilder Brothers Rodeo series. It is a fast-paced, sweet, OTT, insta-love romance with a lot of heat and smoldering sexy.
Sonya has had the day from he!! - her car got a flat on the way to work, she was splashed by a puddle when she was looking at it, she spilled coffee on her new dress and then she was fired from her cubicle job. But her best friend and roommate Jillian is on the case and not about to let Sonya wallow in self-pity. Nope this true blue friend instead has a plan and it involves sneaking into the Rodeo grounds and joining a pre-rodeo event for romance writers. As she and
Colt Wilder is one of four brothers who all live on the family ranch in Montana, all in separate homes, and do the rodeo circuit. Colt has been solely focused on becoming the top ranked bull rider in the world, he is currently ranked third. Colt lost a bet to his brother Hudson and he has found himself having to talk to the romance writers group. When he looks out and scans the group his eyes land on the a beautiful brunette with dazzling green eyes and this cowboy is hog tied and down for the count immediately.
After the presentation when the pictures of being taken Colt has the opportunity to talk with "Jane Harper", Sonya's nom de plume and he asks her to stay behind which she agrees to. Colt takes Jane on a personal tour of behind the scenes at a rodeo ending up in his Uncle Raine's trailer where there is more than a breath steal and soul shaking kiss between them. Colt arranges VIP tickets for the two ladies attend the rodeo for the next two nights, which they do. Later that night they meet and instead of going to the hotel Colt takes Raine on a drive into the country to see the stars in the sky and the ones that she experiences in the back of the truck. But the next morning when he discovers that her name is not actually Jane and is Sonya things don't go quite so well. Will he be able to forgive her for not telling him the truth? Then she spots Colt leaning on the fence and is smitten straight away.
Colt has been roped into attending the pre rodeo event for the romance writers and is kicking himself for the bet he lost to his brother forcing him to participate. Then he spots Sonya in the stands and is drawn to her and is determined that he is going to meet her before the night is over.
They both hit it off straight away and they spend the night together in his hotel room and the next day he discovers that Sonya is not who he thought she was. But eventually he listens to his brother and tells Sonya he has fallen in love with her. Sonya is convinced to go with him and they live happily ever after travelling the rodeo circuit and then to his ranch in Montana.

What if a romance novel about a cowboy should be written but the prota really isn't a romance writer ? Then Kali Hart must do this. And she did it well. Colt is really hot and Sonya a sweet girl with problems. I loved the idea to slip in a role of another personality. One that is confident. It helps Sonya so much. As usual the bedroom time isn't in the bedroom, in this book, true to the cowboy style it`s under a sky full of sparkling stars. I loved this story it's an outbreak from bad times, viral free and 100% Kali Hart.

“Colt” tem os ingredientes centrais de um romance estilo “cowboy + atração instantânea”: um herói rodeio, uma mulher fora do seu mundo, química imediata, tensão e aquele “insta-love” que te puxa para a história desde o início. A premissa é chamativa — ele é um cowboy comprometido com o rodeio; ela vai por acaso a um rodeio quando tudo dá errado no seu dia. A atração surge quase instantaneamente.
Achei que o livro cumpre bem o papel de leitura leve, rápida — perfeito para quem quer algo divertido, sem grande compromisso ou complexidade. A dinâmica “cowboy experiente e mulher de fora” rende cenas quentes, tensão e aquele contraste entre mundos diferentes que muitas vezes funciona no romance.

Very cute, insta love novella. Colt is a rodeo cowboy performing at a convention for romance writers. Sonya’s best friend, wanting to cheer Sonya up from a really awful day, manages to sneak them into the convention. Low on angst. First in a series. It kept me entertained and I liked it enough that I immediately read the next one in the series.

Quick read but good
If you like insta love then you'll love this. I enjoyed the whole premise of the story. I loved that Colt made her a priority. Like I said, it's a quick insta love story. Very enjoyable.
