Intrigue, suspense,an intelligent women working on a super high clearance project for the navy and a amazing NCIS agent who us a former marine and sniper.
Sky has not had control of her life or mind since age 6. Vin has disappointed his dad by not wanting to take over the family business. When the two meet after her kidnapping and NCIS rescuing her, Sky and Vin are set on a collision course with Mercenaries, near death experience, an attraction that is undeniable and differences that may not ever be overcome.
Can they survive, save the project and find each other? Zoe ups the action, the attraction, the feelings, the provabilities and much more

My rating: 3-3/4 stars. I found this book action packed at the beginning and at the end. The middle didn’t hold my attention as much

I love Zoe's work and this series is especially great and why does it make me think of Leroy Gibbs every time I read a book in this series especially this one due to the dedication
Skylar (Sky) Baang is a certified genius and all her life she has been the youngest in her subjects this has led to her been academically brilliant but emotionally stunted and this isn't helped by the fact that she lost her parents at a young age her mother died in a vehicle "accident" her father was set up top take the fall and died in a Chinese prison years later. She is firmly convinced that she has to serve her country to pay for their sacrifice. Vincent (Vince) Fitzgerald comes from a wealthy family but he walked away from the family business as he he knew is path was to serve his country first as a marine then in NCIS. When he is tasked with the protection of Sky he loses his heart to her but can he convince her that her life doesn't just have to be work and that she can love as well. Meanwhile the danger is much closer than anyone realises can he keep her safe and give them a future together

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "GUARDING SKY" Zoe Dawson did a fantastic job writing this amazing storyline it's full of intrigue, suspense, danger, action, kidnapping, hot steamy scenes, twists to make for a very addicting read.
Dr. Skylar Baang is a brilliant naval scientist working on a secret project the bad guys that kidnap her they not only want what she's working on but her genius brain as well.
Special Agent Vin Fitzgerald was mesmerized by Sky's exotic beauty and his protective intinct kicked in he was assigned to get her back.
I loved the chemistry between Sky and Vin they both had troubled pasts, issues they need to come to terms with will these two get a HEA.
I definitely recommend to get this 2nd book in this excellent series each story just gets better and better so much happens in this book your glued to your seat until finished reading I thoroughly enjoyed this book it won't disappoint. AWESOME READ!!!!!!

Dr. Skylar “Sky” Baang is brilliant and gifted. And then, she was kidnapped. Again. It wasn't the first time someone tried to take her for her mind to be used for someone else's purpose.
Special Agent Vincent “Vin” Fitzgerald was intrigued the minute he saw the picture of the exotic woman who'd gone missing. And once he met her in person...he was determined to be her protector.
Sky believed she had to live for the memory of her parents in her work. Vin believed he had to do what he felt was right, not what his father wanted him to do. Even if the two of them can dodge bullets and bad guys...can they each reconcile their beliefs enough to be together? Loved the storyline. Could do with less of the sex scenes.
