A very easy read that has two high school sweethearts reconnecting after years apart. There's some drama on the seas but it's a sweet and steamy number. I enjoyed this as part of Big Hot Alphas box set 4-6.

Quick second chance romance. Loved Cash and Dani. They were so good together. 10 years have passed since they last saw each other and when they see each other again in Hawaii while he is on vacation and she is at work, there was no time lost between them. Loved the chemistry between them. Loved this whole story and I can’t wait to read Holt and Felicity’s story.

CASH is the fourth book in the Big Hot Alphas series by Kate Hunt. This is the story of Cash and Dani who were high school sweethearts when they were seventeen. That is until the summer before they were seniors and his father was transferred to San Diego for work so the family moved. It broke both of their hearts but there was no way around it.
It is now ten years later and Cash, his parents and younger sister are on vacation for two weeks in Hawaii. On the way from renting jet skis and walking to dinner Cash looks out at the beach and sees the back of a curvaceous woman putting on a pair of shorts. He is immediately drawn to her not knowing why. But when she turns around and looks up he thinks he recognizes her so he tells his family to go on to dinner ahead of him and he walks towards what may just be his destiny.
Dani is on vacation in Hawaii by herself. As she is packing up to leave the beach she spots a man that starts walking towards her. She knows he is coming to her but she does not get the sense that she should be scared. As she looks up she is shocked that she recognizes the face, and what a body it is attached to.
Cash and Dani reconnect joining his family for dinner night and then they go to a tiki bar afterwards to talk. The next day they go on a hike in the lave field, just the two of them and then once again meet his family for dinner. Afterwards when Cash walks Dani back to her hotel room things get heated between them and they end up hotter than a lava field and doing things that their teenage selves had never even dreamed of. The next morning it is more indoor sports until he has to leave to meet his family for another excursion. Dani decides to go to the beach by herself and takes a swim in the ocean. But she gets caught in a rip current and is not able to make it back to shore eventually being pulled under the water as she is exhausted.
Cash receives a phone call from a hospital as his number was the last call made on Dani's phone. He hears that she is at the hospital and is unconscious. So his Dad turns the car around and they all go to see her. Cash will not leave her side as she remain unconscious, even when his family has to return to San Diego a few days later. He continues to stay beside her in hopes that she will wake up, after all he is not letting go of her ever again.
Will Dani wake up? Will Cash and Dani get their second chance?
This is a sweet second chance story that has some drama, some teenage angst, some adult angst, some romance, some fun and some good hot and sizzling chemistry. It is well written with a very engaging story-line and wonderful characters, including his family. I really enjoyed reading Cash and recommend it to other readers.

A wonderful second chance romance. Cash and Dani were together as teenagers but Cash's family had to move away. They reconnect 10 years later in Hawaii and the chemistry is still there. A bit of drama brings us a beautiful HEA and a tease of the next book in the series.

Ms. Hunt does a remarkable job with her BBW ad hot alpha male romances. As in the other installments, her lead characters have chemistry, are multi-dimensional, and are quite dynamic. Her supporting characters are also well-developed. Ms. Hunt’s skill with descriptive language has a way of pulling her readers into each scene. In this story she builds intrigue with the rising action of Dani being caught in a rip tide and ending up comatose. Not wanting to be a spoiler, the outcome was well orchestrated. Nicely done, Ms. Hunt.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Cash is book four in the ‘’big hot alpha’s’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Cash and Dani were once high school sweethearts until Cash moved away. Ten years later whilst on separate vacations, Dani and Cash meet again. Will they get their second chance at love?
The chemistry between Cash and Dani is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really like the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Awesome Read!
I truly enjoyed reading this book! I do believe in true young love! The chemistry between Dani and Cash was so hot that they picked up right where they left off 10 years later. This book had me teary eyed! I know that everyone who reads this book will enjoy it! I definitely recommend it to others!

A great story
Enjoyed meeting this couple. Ten years is a long time to be separated and then met again, picking up where they left off. Her swimming accident was terrible. Glad all worked out for them. :)

I'm glad Dani found her one true love after all. It can't have been a good feeling after Cash found Dani after all these years, only to almost lose her again. Dani almost drowned and was in a coma for a bit and Cash never left her side.

A decade of love held onto by Cash and Dani. This is the 4th book. Omg it was so good. I mean waiting 10 years to find your childhood sweetheart. Its just a bittersweet romance. Cash and Dani are adorable together in every way possible. I loved the book.

I liked this short story. It was entertaining. The characters were interesting although I didn't understand or agree with some of their actions.
The story is a sweet reconnection of former teenage sweethearts, Cash and Dani, that were separated through no fault of theirs. Ten years later they run into each other and start hanging out with each other. Cash decides that he doesn't want to take a chance on losing Dani again. They start to talk about what their future might look like. Fate may have other plans though.
Taking this story at face value and enjoying it for the escape that it's meant is the best. If you start analyzing things and questioning why they did this or that you will be frustrated.
I liked how the characters reconnected and began to get to know each other again. I loved how the story ended. Their happy ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book.

Second and Third chance! This is about Cash and Dani. They have known each other since kids and at the age of 17, Cash’s father is transferred to San Diego leaving on his senior year and leaving behind the one that he never told he loved her. Ten years pass and Cash is now in Hawaii with his parents and sister on a family vacation, when he sees someone that he is admiring from behind until she turns and its Dani. He doesn’t waste time to run to her and they pick up as his vacation was for a couple of weeks while she had just started her week vacation. This was there second chance, but something happens that the second chance ends up being a third and final chance to be together. This was a short but very sweet story and I loved that there was no malicious intent for their separation at the beginning.

Cute story about second chance. Dani and Cash were high school sweethearts, Cash has to move their last year of school. Years later he sees Dani at a beach in Hawaii while on vacation with his family. They instantly connect again and begin dating and sleep together. Few day into trip, Cash goes out with his family while Dani spends some time alone at the beach. While out swimming she gets caught in a riptide and is taken to the hospital. Cash is called and he comes and stays with her until she recovers. HEA, one epilogue a year out. I wish that they had tried to find each other after high school, it’s not like they couldn’t have. I kind of get why Dani didn’t, she thought Cash didn’t want her. (He doesn’t have sex with her when she asks after he tells her he has to move. He thought it would make things harder for them both.) But as an adult he could have looked for her.

This was a great second chance romance by Kate Hunt. Dani and Cash were best friends growing up but then Cash is forced to leave town when his dad gets a job transfer. Dani is devastated to lose Cash but life must go on. Ten years later, Cash and his family are on vacation in Hawaii when he sees a beautiful woman in the distance. Blown away when he realizes its Dani, he is determined make up for lost time. He lost Dani once, he won't lose her again. Definitely recommend.

Kate Hunt did another amazing story. It was quick but great. I wish it was longer. Cash and Dani loved each other when they were younger before his family had to move. They are surprised when they meet up again while they are on vacation in Hawaii. They start spending time together and discover that their feelings are still there. Will they get a second chance?
