Years ago, Main 54’s brain-core had to flee his exploding planet-sized warship because of the treachery of Jon Hawkins. Later, Main 54 gained special processors, a new warship—something changed in him…greater clarity of purpose and superior combat skills. He has been taking over the AI Dominion around here ever since. Now, his brilliant calculations reveal it is time to destroy the Confederation with a super fleet. Jon is on a desperate mission in the void seeking clues for making the alien Subspace Teleport Device work. But even if he succeeds, the Confederation will need the courage of the Warrior Roke, the genius of the Sacerdotes, the cunning of the Sisters of Enoy and the power of the Kames to survive the approaching holocaust. This will be the war to end all wars or final annihilation. A.I. ARMADA is the eighth book in the series chronicling humanity’s grim war for survival against the galactic machine juggernaut. The series starts with book 1, A.I. DESTROYER.
I was born in Canada and remember as a small boy crawling in my snow-fort. I closed my eyes, and when I tried to open them, they were frozen shut. I didn't panic, but wiped away the ice crystals, unglued my eyes and kept on building my tunnel. Those were great days! I moved to Central California before seventh grade and couldn't believe I lived in a land where oranges grew on trees and you could pick grapes from the vine.
I used to wonder what I wanted to do with my life, what kind of work specifically. I was miserable not knowing and bordering on desperate. Then one day a friend gave me his typewriter. I began working on a novel. A different person told me it was much easier on a computer, so I bought one and began getting up at 4:30 A.M. each morning before work, writing for three hours. My eyes were unglued once again as the pang of misery left my gut. I knew exactly what I wanted to do: write. So now that's what I do, I write, and write, and write, and I love it.
The series was one of the best that I have read this year! Continuation would be so satisfying but only if some how Walleye was present. I can't imagine it without the great assassin beside Jon's side.
No! Walleye was literally summarily executed, just like that without ceremony and we don’t even know why or how the Sword of Enoy exploded when Adonis died. So now who’s going to be Jon’s Ethan Hunt in his subsequent books?0 Sure the Centurion had a death wish and he was never the same man after the capture. But who’s going to cover Hawkin’s back especially now that everyone’s scrambling to take over the hero? Would have given it 5 star but the book leaves more questions then answers and it seems the author is eager to close Jon Hawkin saga and start a new chapter.

Since reading the series I've really come to like all the characters. Everyone had a role in the continuation of a great sci-fi series. With so many of the essential characters now dead, can the author really continue with the series? It would be great if it could only because there is still the threat of the A.I. Dominion out in the galaxy. In a way I believe that it can because I believe the series can be furthered into another story! Go for it!
I wrote great reviews on the first couple of novels in this series. But then stopped mainly cause I didn't want nor did I stop reading. This author has an amazing mind that he can keep a series going as if its the first novel .the plots ,twists, imagination simple amazes me.
This entire series has been a fight for life to survive against machines and early universe creatures through the void and beyond. I am sorry to be at the current end of the series as there is so much more to do.
Double thumbs up for forgiveness and keeping it as a serious sci-fi drama.
I'm not usually a big fan of sci-fi novels but my son had read this and I thought I'd give it a try. I got hooked! My favorite character is Walleye. All the characters were well developed and I feared for them and celebrated with them. I can't imagine where all the ideas came from. I highly recommend this series of books.
Brilliant tactics. Author doesn't give you a hint as to how the problem is going to be solved. You are left wondering if the humans can survive. You really want to know what next and you really don't. Excellent suspense.
I am mourning the loss of one of my favorite characters in this book. I will not spoil it by referring to who. Never want this series to end but can see my characters are aging, like myself.
I throughly enjoyed this roller coaster series. Lots of action. Incredible enemies Life vs death Order vs chaos I highly recommend this and I am following this author waiting on the next story. Kudos.
This was an incredibly well done series. The o nly thing I didn't like was the way this last book ended. It left way more questions than answers about how the characters lives would continue and whether or not they would defeat the AI Dominion.
This series was enjoyable to read. It had some good twists in it. Sometimes the battles seemed to end just as quickly as they began, but that didn’t really detract from my enjoyment.
Constant action, many different alien species, varied and vast sized spaceships. All while loving the unique main characters. Definitely one of the best in the series.
A great series. Full of intrigue and action. Great characters Human and alien alike. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys sci -fi and space battles.
