Cowboys of Cattle Cove Series Book Two
Ryan McGannon didn't like that his brother A.J. was renting out one of their cabins by the lake. Even so, he checked it out to make sure all looked okay with the weekend renters. He didn't expect there to be trouble...or that one of the women there was from his past.
Alexis Haley had moved out of Cattle Cove after her mom died. Leaving everyone behind. Including her best friend. When a coworker invited her to spend the weekend with her and her sister...and Alexis found out it was on McGannon property...she was all in.
Her beautiful, relaxing day turned into a nightmare during the night. Thankfully her old friend and his dog, Rogue, stepped up to help her through. Loving this series. I can't wait for the next story of another McGannon brother.

'It's not a good idea..' '...which is exactly why we should do it'
Ah! Alexis and Ryan are amazing together. It is so heartwarming seeing them working their way back to the friendship they had and watching them fall in love all over again. They were too young before, can this be their second chance at first love?
Not only will Ryan and Alexis steal your heart but Rogue will too, he is protective of Alexis from the moment he meets her and provides an emotional support she is initially unable to accept from a person.
Fantastic second book in the series

Cowboy Cover-up is the second book in the Cowboys of Cattle Cove series. It pulled me in from the beginning and kept me riveted until the end. I love all of this authors books. Her characters pull you in and keep you pulling for them until the end. There was a cowboy, a dog, mystery, suspense and danger in this thrilling read. I can't wait to read the next book in this wonderful series.

When she left she never thought she would come back. Friends in rented a cabin got her to come! Murder comes! Love blossoms in spite of a killer being around! Great characters and story.

Great series.
I have gotten hooked on this series. It keeps me interested from start to finish. Barb Han is a wonderful writer. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Another good read. This book was every bit as good as the first including the main characters.

Cowboy Cover-Up: Cowboys of Cattle Cove Book 2 is by Barb Han. This second book in the series is even better than the first. The more I read of her books, the more I like them. This series involves the McGannon family and their huge ranch in Cattle Cove. In spite of having all the money they want, the McGannons managed to be down to earth boys and completely well behaved, most of the time. If you messed with one McGannon, you got the others, the boys and their cousins, as well.
Alexis Haley didn’t know whether or not to regret coming on this girls weekend or not. Being with Angel and Darcy wasn’t the problem, being at Cattle Cove and on the McGannon ranch was. Alexis hadn’t been back since she left after graduation. Since her Mother died, there had been no one left here for her, except Ryan. Ryan was her best friend and had been for as long as they could remember. If one of Ryan’s girlfriend’s tried to come between then, he chose Alexis. Despite rumors to the contrary, there was never anything but friendship between the two. They hadn’t parted on very good terms when she left and she had closed down with everyone so had few friends. Maybe she would not see Ryan this weekend. Having hurt her ankle earlier, she limped up the stairs to the Loft. Angel had the master and Darcy took the living room couch. The pain medication should help her sleep.
Alexis woke up feeling something was wrong. First she would check the other girls, then the doors. As she got downstairs , she heard a noise towards A shadow appeared from Angel’s room and headed towards her. He definitely wasn’t going to hurt her. She fought back determined to get away. Ryan was out walking his dog before heading for sleep. He heard the scream and ran for her cabin. The assailant had manage to escape; Who was he and why was he here? The why was quickly answered when the two girls were found to be dead. Whoever did this knew the girls well.

Book 2 of The Cowboys of Cattle Cove take us into the story of Ryan McGannon and his trusty sidekick ( his dog) Rogue. Ryan loves his families ranch it's in his blood but renting out the old cabin to weekend visitors is not an idea he was happy about, and for good reason but little did he know when he rode out to check on this weekends renters that there he would find his old friend and at the time side kick Alexis Haley. This book fits perfectly into the Cowboys of Cattle Cove series and love that Barb has added dogs into this series, if you like suspense, romance or just a good looking cowboy with a dog story this is the book for you!
