Edith
Edith has gone to live with her sister Lily and her husband Tommy Hortel in Wichinton, LA after their parents death. Only since Tommy tried to sneak into her room three days ago, people are looking at her differently and the butcher has just told her that the same meat that she bought last week is more than twice as much for "ladies like her". She has to escape! She decides to answer a Bride Ad and the time has finally arrived - Mr. Leroy Nash has asked her to come to Twin Creek, Nevada! When she tells her 18 year old cousin Louise, the only person in town who doesn't judge her for something that didn't happen, she agrees to let her come along. Will things be what they seem in Mr. Nash's letters? Can't wait to read the whole story.

I loved this story, and the characters. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys sweet love stories. I would be interested in reading other books by this author. I received this book as a free download and I'm happy I did.

Very short
I didn't notice how short the story was. I imagine it could be a good story if you could read the whole book. This way , it was just a waste of time.

Very upset to start this book as a part of a collection only to not be able to finish it because I could not get the connection to finish it to work. Do not appreciate authors doing this

Disappointed
Had to pay to get 4 chapters, not happy as it is free to get rest of book. Hope book is as good as other 15 I have read.
