Omg so tragic
This was a really good story. I waited so long to read because I have a hard time with child abuse. Kylar has experienced both kinds in her short life and my heart aches for her. Clyde and her mama are no good. I’m hoping Oakland comes and saves the day.

Great Read
This book was so good from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters and I couldn't put it down. It was very well written and flowed so smoothly. Kylar, is a strong young lady that's endured so much. Between her mother Jackie and Clyde, two sick, evil abusive people and I can't wait for them to get exactly what they deserve. I really like Oakland for Kylar, he's exactly what she needs. After that ending, I can't wait to see what happens next. Great job Prenisha Aja.

**If Sexual Abuse/Rape Is A Trigger For You Don't Read This Book**
This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride from the beginning to the end. My heart really goes out to Kylar being physically abused by her mom Jackie and being molested/raped by her mom's boyfriend Clyde who has a sick obsession with her. Kylar goes from living in an abusive home to living in her car to staying with her co-worker and friend Ci-Ci that I believe was sexually abused as well. Clyde really has a sick fetish with underage girls like Kylar and Brittany and it was so sad what he did to Brittany. I like Oakland and Kylar together because he's so patient and gentle to her knowing that she has been through something even though she won't say what. While Clyde so fixated on Kylar he needs to be worried about what his wife Trisha and bestfriend Gee got going on. Kylar just got hit with another blow about her deceased father Kamon and now Clyde is trying to kidnap her. I hope Oakland puts a halt to Clyde's attempt to kidnap Kylar.

My heart went out to Kylar because she went through way too much and her mom wasn't much help. Her mom really pissed me off and was too pressed for a man that she turned her back on her child constantly. I realized why Kylar never expressed what she was going through because of Clyde. Ugh Clyde disrupted my whole soul. How could no one realized the turmoil he was taking Kylar through? Clyde was a piece of work and with everything he had going on, Kylar should've been the least of his worries. Ci-Ci proved to be a good friend and I'm glad she began to help Kylar after finding out her situation. Brittany was young and dumb and loving someone who didn't feel the same almost cost her her life. Oakland was that dude and I see Tammie isn't going to stop until she gets bodied. I wish Kylar would've explained some things to Oakland because after that ending she's going to need him more than ever. I can'r wait for Clyde to get what he deserves with his trifling ass.

I hate that Kylar was so timid. Yes, her stupid mother didn't believe her about Clyde, but she should've been telling everyone, until someone listened. Kylar had a difficult life, but she gave Clyde too much power over her. That's what I loved about Ci-ci.... she not only gave Kylar a place to stay, but she wanted to see Kylar happy. Clyde was not only delusional, but he was a very selfish, and manipulative man.
Oakland was definitely the man for Kylar, but did he have enough patience to be Kylar's man? Oakland was bae, and I loved how gentle he was with Kylar, she just needed to tell him what was wrong, and I felt that without a doubt, Oakland would have done his best to eliminate the problem. Now, how Clyde thought he was going to get Kylar out of the house, was going to be very interesting.

Excellent read
My first time reading this author and I was beginning to let this book go because of the stupidity. This author had me in my feeling and angry all together. I thought the character were written well, however I'm looking forward to 2 character meeting Karma. I'm just hoping that Kylar comes to her senses and talk to someone. Rape is a difficult topic for many woman since no one believes them when it's mentioned. Kylar had to endure this for too long and when she blurts it out to the one person who should have protected her the most, she thrown out in the streets. Look forward to reading book 2 to see what happens next.

Wow Good Wow But Wow….
Wow just wow! This book is deep way deeper than I thought to be honest. Clyde is insane and disgusting he just preys on little girls. I can’t wait until his death cause he is too much for me. Jackie is a piece of work herself and she should be ashamed cause ain’t no man worth what sure take her daughter through smh. Hopefully Oakland can save the day and he doesn’t get fed up with Kylar cause it takes a strong man to help a woman like her ijs. It’s a lot of secrets that gotta come out in part 2 and I’m ready.

Omg Kyler! I can't take the mother,wife,Gee,and Clyde. With being said the story took a moment to start abut once it got going it got good 👍. Kyler has had it hard, and life is just now getting okay when more unfolds. Yes Oakland is book bae,and I can't wait for him to find out the truth about his uncle and I hope he stays clear of Tammie. Good read a looking forward to the next book. 4.5

Haven't that bastard put her through enough turmoil in her life. Clyde is a disgusting, no good SOB. All he do is manipulate and abuse women. Kylar's mother Jackie needs some help also. The hell she put her daughter through with the beatings and then to put her out for being raped by her sorry excuse of a man. Oakland is the truth and I pray he catch Clyde before he can do anymore damage to Mylar.💚💚

This book’s storyline was filled with so much craziness and hatred at the beginning but comes to an end filled with so much love. Character development well written and relatable. I enjoyed and recommend this five star read. I cannot wait to read part 2, and much more from this author.

Prenisha you have done it again. I really enjoyed reading this book. I hated Clyde and Jackie and need them to get their karma soon as possible...I would love to see Oakland and Kylar together. That ending shocked me. I can’t wait to read part 2...this is definitely a must read...
