An old grudge finds new life. Eli Bryce just wants to go back to what he knows. But when his latest job ends up being a double-cross that leaves him and his team with no easy answers, he realizes just how unlikely that really is. Now he has to find a way to do the right thing without getting killed. One of those he's pretty good at. Vengeance! is fast-paced space opera at its best, perfect for fans of golden age pulp stories full of action, drama, and fun!

Another great. If things were bad before, they’re going to get worse for the crew. Plenty of action to keep you intrigued.

**** SPOILER ALERT ****
The team of James and Young are at it again!
In rapid fire they have released "Annihilation: ( Outcast Starship Book 1 )" and "Vengeance: ( Outcast Starship Book 2 )" the subject of this review.
This rip roaring tale continues the adventures of the Boomerang Eli and crew are between a rock and a hard place. In this case a crime boss standing in as the rock and a traitorous admiral standing in for the hard place. The authors continue doing a bang up job of world building and character development.
This series harkens back to the days of pulp science fiction and I am very glad of this entertaining and easy to read style to help take my mind off of the global situation. I can hardly wait for volume three to be released!
In the interest of transparency: I was given a review copy of this book and I am voluntarily sharing this review.
It is my own honest opinion.

Received as an ARC copy, this is an honest review. The crew of the Boomerang may have survive a hellish adventure... but things are about to get so much worse. Declan Tanner, a badass criminal you don't want to cross unless you want to end up dead; is demanding Eli's crew to retrieve a hell of a mega weapon from an extremely secure station; if they don't obey, Declan will hunt them down, enjoying the vicious victory. Caught between two assholes haunting their every step, they search for a third option that will maintain their freedom while evading the constant shadows of their bitter enemies. Epic escapes that are a reader's version of Mario Kart... strap in for crazy fun. Highly recommended.

In this book, Eli and his team continue their string of bad luck, barely able to escape from tough spots. They are offered a job which turns out to be a no-win situation. They’re under the control of a powerful crime boss, for earlier transgressions of his rules, and abetted by a corrupt Admiral who wants to rule the universe. If they succeed in stealing a top-secret device, the Earth will be unable to repel an alien attack; if they fail, they could face life imprisonment or death. There is plenty of fast-paced action, many battles, close encounters, and surprises, as well as hilarious moments. It’s a roller-coaster ride that will keep you glued to the story. Do yourself a favor and start by reading book 1, Annihilation. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Return of the Boomerang🚀

Blast off to another deep space adventure with the invincible commander Eli🐺 and his small crew on his scout vessel Boomerang🚀. Attacked relentlessly by The vessel Dimitri🚀, it's a game of galaxy hide and seek.
The book ends in a cliffhanger, paving the way for another space adventure for Eli and his crew.

Good read.

In this book it seems no matter where they go the ship gets pretty much destroyed. Now it seems since they have been trying to get a hold of this weapon someone is trying to stop them and someone is trying to help them to get it. All I know is that there ship has gone through he'll and has had to be repaired several times. The book is full of action.

Good but...

I gave for stars to that one because there were too much ship battles and not enough of the rest for my own taste. Still good but could have been better with more story times.

Book #2 keeps in step with book #1, but wasn't quite as good. I think the reason is there were a few sections that had "too much going on" and it made it a little confusing to read. But overall, I liked it and will move on to Book #3.

Pleasantly absurd

Forgot all you know about the laws of physics, engineering and astronomy, believe you can repair a spaceship in hours with aluminum foil and a sewing kit and you'll love this story
