This was a great start to the series.
Its Melanie’s first day on the job and she is working overtime already watching everyone leave for the day when her phone rings, sneaking off to the bathroom to take the call, her sister is missing again and her mother is beside herself, so when the CEO of the company asks her to accompany him in a meeting to take notes how can she say no?
Jason is about to go into a very important meeting but his CFO is nowhere to be found, he needs the information as soon as possible so when he finally manages to track him down and he realises that he is in the middle of a family crisis he knows he needs to find someone to stand in for him and chooses the only other person in the office, the new girls who has been distracting him all day with her curves and beauty, in just a short amount of time he realises how perfect she is. Is it possible to fall in love that quickly though?
This book does end on a cliff-hanger though and I cannot wait to see what happens between these two in the future. 4* Read.

I can’t give this more than two stars because it took me 5 minutes to read this story from start to finish. There wasn’t much to it. It definitely would’ve gotten a higher rating if it would’ve been longer. It seemed like it had a good concept going then it was over.

Nope. Here’s what went wrong, first his company and he can’t have a vital meeting without his assistant, second her back chatting him was way out of line and showed no respect, third She’s an employee what he did had a sexual harassment suit written all over it, not to mention morally wrong, a man in his position with any morals at all would never put a new employee through those kind of moves, whether she seemed to want it or not. And then a billionaire and the best he can do for a woman he’s that attracted to is the front seat of his car? Ugh. Then there’s the sister, she made no sense at all.
And finally I loath cliff hangers, if you’re going to write a story then finish it, don’t give me half a story without warning and expect me to come back for part two, because I won’t on principle.

What a waste of my time

I was between books and was looking to indulge in a short and hot, insta-love story. The blurb definitely sounded promising, as did the 41 page count.
The story starts off right at the heart of the matter. Jason - the CEO of a big company, desperately needs someone to stand in for his absent CFO in a high-stakes meeting. Fortunately for him, the new girl, Melanie, is the only one left so he ropes her into standing in. And so starts our story.
To be honest, there was really no need for Melanie to attend the meeting, or for Jason to be freaking out about not having someone there to help him. But it was just a mechanism to get our pair together so it was fine.
I liked Jason and Melanie together. Jason was your typical arrogant, bossy billionaire and he knew he wanted Melanie from the get-go. Melanie wasn’t the usual meek innocent who was cowed by the big, bad boss. She gave as good as she got and I liked her for it. The sex was fast and pleasant - although not as dirty as I would have liked. I wasn’t too keen on the choice of words such as ‘pounced’ and ‘grabbed’ etc that were used in relation to Jason’s seduction of Melanie. They just made me uncomfortable and gave me icky consent vibes - although the encounters were clearly mutual and consensual.
The writing itself was decent albeit the writer has a strange quirk of never seeming to contract ‘do’ and ‘not’, or ‘could’ and ‘not’. When it happened the writing felt unnecessarily formal. There were a few issues with tense and strange sentence structure, but nothing too drastic.
And so we come to the reason for my 1 star rating. It’s a godforsaken cliffhanger. The story just stops. If you want to find out what happens between Jason and Melanie, you have buy the next book in the series, and then the next etc. At the time of this review, you have to buy 4 other books at a cost of £10.31 to read a grand total of 199 pages just to find out what happens.
NOPE.
The author has done a good job of hiding the fact that this is a cliffhanger in her blurb. She states this is the first book in a series - but it’s ultimately my fault for not checking the rest of the ‘series’ to see if it’s the same characters throughout. I’m annoyed, however, that I wasted my time on a book with only the start of a story. I won’t be reading the rest of this series and this author is now on my ‘do not buy’ list. 1 star.

So I absolutely LOVED this story until the very last few pages when I realized that it's a cliffhanger! I HATE serial stories and would have waited until it was complete before I read it. It is well written and the editing is great. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long to get the rest of the story.

Melaine Paige started her first day at the company. She is typing away. The papers are high. She was told she couldn’t leave until it was done. Jason Ford is the owner and boss. He is waiting for his CFO to show up for this meeting. While waiting he notices Melaine. He saw all her curves and dark hair and couldn’t look away. He noticed at closing time everyone started to leave but she stayed behind tying away. He was going to have a talk with the manager. He sees her grab her phone and head to the restroom. When Melaine comes out she walk into Jason. He talks her into helping him with this meeting. He pays her overtime. He is was impressed with skills during the meeting. Melaine typed the notes and went to leave. While at the bus stop Jason pulls up and tells her to get in. Jason can’t stop touching her. He breaks his own rules. He wants her. He knows it’s wrong but he has to have her. He has a restless night sleep and goes in early. He hears this noise and hears it again. When he to the noise a girl is stealing medicine. He calls security and she is running her mouth about her sister. He asks who is her sister. The answer shocks and surprises him.

It is possible to be good looking and a creep, as is evidenced by Jason. He is the boss and has a big meeting one of his employees bails out of so he get the new girl to stand in for him. He's attracted to her and gets too close in the meeting and she doesn't push him away. That's her boss's boss, he is overplaying his power in their dynamic. His attraction to her is purely physical since they don't know each other, but her attraction to him seems more objective. He comes on to her and she says no because he's the boss and he doesn't care and doesn't think about the way that could impact her. He sees what he wants and takes it which honestly made me uncomfortable. Melanie wanted to be with him too but the amount that he pushed her boundaries to get there was a no from me. I get that is part of a series but this would make more sense as a full length novel because that cliffhanger left a bad taste in my mouth. At least I know not to continue with it.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the first book in the Insta Love Alpha Boss series. In this book, Melanie starts a new job at a company that Jason owns. Melanie is caring for her mother and trying to keep her younger sister out of trouble. Melanie really needs the money and one night Jasno finds her working late. Jason asks for her help in a business meeting that ends in a successful deal, Jason wants to drive Melanie home, but their mutual attraction takes over and they can't control themselves. Melanie thinks it was a heat of the moment and vows for it not to happen again, but Jason can't stop thinking about her and wants to see her again. This book ends on a cliff hanger and it will leave you wanting to read more. I really liked Jason and i can't wait to read the next book.

I absolutely loved the characters in Craving Her Curves. Both Jason - ahem, Mr. Ford - and Melanie are interesting people with hopefully just as interesting back stories. The author does an excellent job at pulling the reader into the scene, and living in that moment.
I reallyyyyy want to give this five stars, but the "book" was way too short. I could read it in a half hour, it ends on a cliffhanger, and you need to then purchase the remaining 4 books to ever finish the entire story. This is one of my biggest pet peeves with romance authors: taking what should be one book and dividing it into several books in order to get to the ending.
I am hooked, I hate not finishing books (even if they're bad), and I do want to know what happens with Jason and Melanie. So I will be reading the rest of the series.

It’s Melanie’s first day of work and she’s working overtime to complete a stack of work that has to be finished, her phone rings and she goes to the bathroom to answer it. When she is on her way out she walks into Jason Ford, her boss.
Jason Ford needs help for a very important meeting and Melanie is the only one in the office. He’s been watching her from his office and he can’t take his eyes off of her, she’s gorgeous. She helps him with his meeting taking and typing the notes and the bulge in his pants tells him he shouldn’t.
This is a very short novel that will want you to continue to find out what happens when he takes her home. Very captivating and very well written.
This was my first time reading Hope Paris, and I wasn’t disappointed. A must read.

Cliffhangers
I liked this fast paced instalove story. I really want to see where Melanie's and Jason's story goes but these five books could have been put into one. The author is dragging out the book. I am assuming each book ends with a cliffhanger to buy the next installment. No thank you. The story is good, interesting but I hate authors and books that drag on in installments so that you’ll buy the next installment and the next, and the next. Not my cup of tea. I originally gave 2 stars but it is an interesting story and the installment was edited well with no mistakes, so I changed my rating to three stars. I'm still ticked I started this story not knowing about the cliffhanger.

I wouldn't call this book a waste of time, seeing as it wasn't long enough to take up much time, but it sure wasn't worth the time it did take me to read. I grabbed this as I was in a bit of a book slump and needed something short and sweet to catch my attention. This was advertised to me as an insta-love novella that was the first in a series of connecting novellas. I, wrongfully so, assumed that it was a complete story and not just the first chapters of the story. It made absolutely no sense for this to be published as a "novella" when really all it is is one story broken up into a bunch of "novellas." The story wasn't good enough to keep me interested in what happens next so I don't be reading any further books.

A short love.. umm maybe lust at first sight story between a boss and his new employee. It was a very fast paced love affair that spanned one night. Reminds me of how I feel watching movings when everything happens so fast.
But I like that even if it was a very short story, there was enough buildup to them as a would be couple and alluding to something other than just lust building under the surface. There was a clear focus onto the stars of the story and not much on the characters around them. There was also a hint of a lot of underlying family issues that will lead to their trials as a couple.
About 3.5 stars in my book!

The saga continues for Melanie and Jason.
I love how Jason is wanting and willing to do whatever it takes to protect Melanie and her mother from Claire. He doesn't cross the line and gives Melanie the support and strength she needs. Melanie always takes care of others and puts her wants and needs aside. This time Jason needs her support and strength and he appreciates it and shows her just how much he appreciates it.
Cliffhanger on what and why Claire has done to ruin Jason.
Hopefully we find out soon what she did and that her actions will have consequences. I am so ready for Claire to reap what she sows.

1st part of a story. Downhill from here...
I read this 1st part for free as a test to see if the "full set" found for 0.99 was worth it. This 1st part was so-so, hot scene, but with overarching boss-creepiness that was "okay" because he was hot? As it was only 0.99, decided to get rest & see if improved. It did NOT. He says he needs her, with no relevant experience shared, to step in for his VP of finance and PA, and then he buys and makes her wear vibrating panties to a business meeting? That was just too ridiculous for me (there were some other issues, that was just the last straw and triggered me giving up).

I read this quickly, as well as the 2nd and 3rd. They are only about 40 pages a piece. The final 2 books will be out soon and I look forward to seeing how it ends. Melanie stands in for Jason's CFO as a note taker in an important meeting. She was the last one left in the office and he is instantly attracted to her and she to him. They give into their attraction and Jason can't stop thinking of her. The next day as he comes into work he catches someone stealing meds from the clinic in his building only to be shocked by who it is.

This does have a cliffhanger but I enjoyed it and do wonder how she will get out of this. Though no fault of her own her new boss who wants her as much as she does him but after one time together she has a big problem. Can she convince him she had nothing to do with her kid sister (who she had told him when asked was getting into trouble) trying to rob his place? Can they save their new relationship? How will her mother deal with it when she tells her? I want to see what happens next..

This was my first book after being hit with a reading slump. However, I’m confused on what’s happening or the info dumps I’m getting. I didn’t realize the book was a part I etc, so to my surprised I was shocked at how fast everything was moving. Yes, this is Insta love but she works there for one day and they already wanna smash. Which is fine but to mention so much about Melanie sister and her family then said well let’s get to smut. To end it off with nothing being concluded is insane. But I did enjoy the smut 🤭.

This is a new to me author and the story line seemed interesting, so I decided to give it a go. I really enjoyed it. Jason the powerful boss overcome by the beauty and curves of his newest hire, Melanie. She was a good girl just trying to do a good job, support her family, but when Jason shows his attraction to her, she can't hold back either. Great start to the story, can't wait to find out what happens next.

Book 1; for the first installment of this story it is a very good read. However this book cannot be given a 5 star rating because it's not a complete book. The writing is well done, the characters are very well articulated. The story is very incomplete. In saying that, it is a very good start that makes you scream at the end knowing that you have to pay or use Kindle Unlimited to read the next installments.

This story was lacking more than an ending. I found the character development completely lacking. I still don't have a mental image of either of the main characters after reading to the stories conclusion. Oh wait, there wasn't a conclusion, something that wasn't mentioned in any of the blurbs I read before taking the time to download/upload to my Kindle. And for a short short incomplete story it sure took the author a long time to bring the two characters together.

This may have been short but I think it was written really well. It’s a great start to get int the series. Despite the cliff hanger ending.
There is drama and there is spice!!! The car scene was *chefs kiss*. The story line is fast paced but I don’t feel like it was rushed like some shorter stories tend to be.
I’m adding the rest of the series to my TBR immediately and see where Melanie and Jason end up.

Though this is super short, the plot is quite intriguing.
Jason & Melanie are attracted to each other, but compounding this attraction is the fact that they are boss and employee, respectively. Added to this, Melanie's home situation is interfering with her job.
What will Jason do when the lines between work and home overlap in a negative way for Melanie? I can't wait to find out.

This was my first book from this author, and I really enjoyed it. It was a quick read and is meant to be continued to then next book. The characters are well written and I like the story line. I recommend this book for someone looking for a quick read with a continuing story. Can't wait for the next book

An amazing book one in the Insta Love Alpha Boss series! It is well written, fast pace, steamy, emotionally deep, funny, steamy, and engaging. Likeable characters; the chemistry between them is instant! I look forward to reading more in book two. Definitely recommended! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy.

Would be a good story everything happens a little too fast but still ok read . But for me as the story continues in four other parts, the cost far out ways the story told( each book is roughly 40 or less pages). At just over £3 per book, it makes it, not worth buying. If the author puts all parts together then maybe. Sad as I would like to know how it concludes but not at nearly £9 total
