"Three of the most monumental ages of a woman’s life are eighteen, twenty-one, and twenty-five. In part one of Young Love in Heart on Reserve – Grace, Braille, and Jessica begin their journey into womanhood.
Grace’s life had never been normal. She grew up with a father who showed his love only through providing and protecting, and a mother who was so submissive that she allowed her husband to keep her from giving Grace the love and nurture every young girl needs. When Grace was sixteen she left Memphis to be with her boyfriend, Andy. Almost two years later, Grace finds herself sneaking back into Memphis, praying her parents and Andy never find out. But Andy does. And he refuses to let her go easily.
Braille grew up with a single mother. Her entire life has centered around loving her Mother, getting good grades in school, and becoming a Nurse. A flat tire on one of the hottest days in Spring causes her to meet Lorenzo, a young dope boy whose life is going down a completely different path, and her life is changed forever because of it.
After watching her sister love, lose, and die because of it, Jessica vowed to never fully commit herself to love or a man. Then she met Cameron. And his love and gentle pursuit of her changed her mind. When Cameron left for college she thought she could get back to her normal routine of enjoying life and messing around with whoever she wanted to, but Cameron didn’t want to let her go so easily. As she tries to enjoy her last year of high school and maintain a long distance relationship she meets Vega, Lorenzo’s best friend. Their encounter leaves her in a love triangle she’s not sure she wants to get out of.
In this captivating series, these girls are all left with two options – live and love while they’re young, or place their hearts on reserve to live wild and free. Which will they choose? Join them in part one to find out!"

B. Love is BlackGirlMagic at its finest! No long review necessary, I just believe these reviews help these awesome authors. Support them! :)
Grace and Hanif need their own story! *hint hint* lol Poor Cam and Jessie. I have a feeling that Jessie will soon learn that the grass ain't always greener... as she deserves. Braille and Lorenzo, I feel awesome things coming in their future.
I swear that B. Love books are the best. Lord know I can't wait for part 2 cause I know it's going to be the bomb.com. So I need her to get it out ASAP
She did it again, showed us love is not an enigma. Grace and Hanif were my most favorite couple. If there ever was a woman starving for love it was definitely her and along comes Hanif (with his mean self)...who didn't know he too was in need of love. Braille and Lorenzo aka LoLo, they were my second favorite. That girl is truly DOWN FOR HER MAN. Lo proved time and time again that he was indeed that A MAN, especially by telling her to not hold her life for him even though he loved B to the fullest. Last but not least Jessica and Vega. At first I wasn't feeling him cause I wanted Jess with Cameron but Vega won me over along with Jess and they became unstoppable in their quests for success and love. This is another HIGHLY RECOMMEND SERIES.
Grace and neef are my people but I love all the rest just the same Grace didn't have the love she wanted but in the end she got it from neef and I loved that she brought him out of his shell because he would have missed out
Jess and Vega are good for each other can was just a holding stone people were mad but she did the right thing she broke up with him before she got to feel with Vega but for cam to think that he could come and go has he please just wasn't it
Bri and so are now the two I really need to find out how this ends but I loved every minute of it
Lawd Jessie don't know what she is getting herself into with Vega. How can she hurt ol boy like that after she ran the girl who loves him away? Lorenzo was supposed to ask Rule how to get out, he should have known this day was coming. And lawd B out here in these Memphis streets pregnant. Let me read this 2nd book!
These three young ladies had a lot going on. Jessica really did Cam wrong like how you ask him to stop being friends with someone, but Sue turn around and start seeing someone else. Grace parents need to be slapped like how can you treat your child like that. That ending with Braille about to have a mess going
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. All of them grew and changed so much. The ladies never gave up on their men and the fellas never let up on their pursuit of showing and giving their women everything they needed. Loved the cameos by Power, Elle, Cam and Rule.
I love young love. Age does not determine how you fall and feel for a person. Grace parents are trash. Her mom needs a backbone, lady that's are your daughter. Can't wait to dive into part 2.
Well I knew somebody was going to get caught up. I don't know if I agree with an 18 being with a 26 year old but I know it happens a lot. Otherwise good book.v I am just going to move on to part 2.
B. Love you have a way with words. I am so happy for Grace and her friends. They went through so much for their age. J am just happy that they are married with kids and great friends. Wonderful Read!
I loved each of these couples and how hard they rode for each other. The ladies all had baggage but once love found them, the past just didn't matter anymore! The guys all had their struggles too but when they gave love a try, they were all free to truly live and love and they loved their women fiercely! Great read with a HEA for all! Great read B. Love!!!!!
... this is an extended version from both Rule and Camryn, and Elle and Power... based on the teenagers that they workshop, Grace, and Braille, and their best friend Jessica.
Grace is the young girl, that was coached by Power, and she was in love with her male best friend, Andy. She wasn't aware that Andy was suffering from a mental condition, and once Grace and he moved to San Francisco, Andy became someone she didn't know. After doing everything she could, she was sick and tired of the treatment Andy was giving her, so she moved back home. Grace met Hani, a complicated man that was almost ten years her senior, and he was both sweet and guarded, but Grace held a special place in his heart.... if he didn't get himself together, he was going to lose her.
Braille, was so similar to Camryn, you could definitely tell that Braille was Camryn's sister. She was stubborn, loving, and affectionate, but she was a tad bit more outgoing than Camryn, due to her innocence, her pureness. She took what Camryn and Elle's advice to her heart, and she applied it to her life, but she fell in love with someone who was patient, and respect her to the fullest. He adored her, and he loved that she was difference, he adored her natural beauty, he adored her pureness. He wanted to love her, and she was definitely perfect for him. However, within a blink of an eye, everything changed, and Lorenzo would rather let her go, than to hold her down, for something that he done. Braille's life will forever be changed.
Jessica was the most complicated, and one minute she wanted Cameron, and the next she wanted Vega. She felt too young to be tied down, but she didn't want to hurt anyone either. She thought she loved Cameron, until Vega. Vega loved that she free-spirited, and so down to earth. They both were content with one another, and they both were in denial, because the love was there, even though they both were in denial about it.
These young ladies were trying to find themselves, and love, but you have to love yourself, before you can love someone else.
This book was sooo darn g food omg from the beginning it drew me in. I loved all the girls and their stories were so unique. Jess was just damaged poor girl I felt bad for Cameron but Vega stepped up and stole her heart. So and Braille is the couple I really want to see make it against the odds I love their relationship it was really a young love in Memphis. He dealt with a lot at home but he had Braille at his side every step of the way. I really hope they get to reunite. Hanif is bae! I loved his mean a** lol. Him and Grace needed each other to show them love. Their bond was so tight. I enjoyed this read. I will definitely be reading more of B Love
You are such a talented writer and you prove it with every book you write. This book had me up all night trying to finish it.I can't wait till the next book comes out. These young people have some strong connections to their men I hope it works out for all the of the ladies. I hope Lorenzo can get out and be a dad to his child. Vega caught feelings when he want expecting to but I think he is the man that she needs. Don't ever stop with this gift because you are one of my go to writers and I don't have many that just have that it factor but you definitely do!
All I can think of is one word: Hanif. OMG. That man is everything!!!! I'm so in love with this new series. B just gets better and better with each book, if that's even possible because her writing is already so dope! There is magic in her pen, that's for sure. On the edge of my seat after that ending and can't wait for part two!!!!
Omg B you've done it again! Idk if I like Vega or Cam more. Hanif is my bae though. I love him and Grace together. What you won't do is leave us hanging like that. Zo gonna be so happy but you gotta get him out of that situation. Lol, I can't wait for part 2
B love girl you have done it again I couldn't wait to read this story. I loved all the couples. I was rooting for Cam and Jess but Vega was slowly winning me over. Ugghh I can't wait for part 2.
I enjoyed this book and can't wait for part two I enjoyed reading your books B. Love you bring so much life to the characters I can't explain it these books are more than just words on paper.
B. Love did it again omg that's all I have to say . These three women gave me life. I love all the characters . I'm team Vega . I hope Jessica choose the right guy
Five stars from me, because it took me back to when I was in highschool, the storyline like always is on point and I am ready to continue the ride with these young girls .
From the 1st page I was hooked. The writing was great and B. Love had her characters dropping jewels. Jessica was my least favorite in the story, I hope she gets it together in part 2. This story makes you a believer in love again, especially when it comes to Hanif. This is definite must read.
I had been putting off reading this series because I was like "I'm too old to be reading about some kids." And you know what I felt too old reading about these kids. Lol But I liked the first installment. I like all the characters. Every body needs a hug though.
