My eyes meet his, and I feel a punch to my gut. He’s tall and lean, but I can see from the way his dress shirt fits his biceps that there is plenty of muscle on him.He has bright blue eyes and silky black hair that begs a woman to run her fingers through it. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Lexi and her best friend Vinny have been running their bakery Sweet Deliggts together, Lexi is the baker and Vinny is the marketing manager. But after one customer complains and she finds the shop vandalised and smashed up it soon becomes clear that someone has a vendetta. Colin arrives on the scene and there is something between them immediately but with her suddenly being in danger can he keep her safe?
Colin was on duty the night the bakery was broken into and as much as he is trying to do his job he’s taken with Lexi, one look he knew he’d found his one. He’s overjoyed when she agrees to a date but with her being stalked and in danger can he get to her before it’s too late?
This is a new author for me and I really enjoyed it, however I felt like there was a chunk missing, it was as if it had been skimmed over a little and these two characters moved way fast. I am looking forward to more in this series. 3.5* Read.

Wow brilliant
Wow brilliant hot short story of instant love at first. Colin gets called to a break as soon as he sees Lexi he knows she is the one for him forever he needs to find who has done this. Lexi goes on her date with Colin what a date. Lexi is in bakery on her own when her attacker comes in luckily this time he just shouts nasty things to her. Lexi moves in with Colin and he goes to the bakery with her every morning he gets a phone call to say they have the man in custody. Colin arrives back at the bakery quickly to see Lexi being held by knife point the mans brother talks to him Lexi is let go and runs to Colin where they declare their love for each other.

"An alpha detective, and a curvy baker insta love Romance." Wow! So good. First time reading this author, definitely won't be the last. This had wonderful characters, was quick, suspenseful, steamy, sweet, and very cute. Bring on the second Shaw brother.

This was a quick and steamy read. The story flows well, full of amazing chemistry, sweet, suspense. This is book one and I will be on the lookout for the next one. A great story.

Oh Muffins
A quick read, only about forty pages but I was very surprised at the depth of the characters and the well developed romance for such a short story. It was excellent and I’m looking forward to reading Vinny’s story.

Cute short read
A very sweet short read. Action, drama, suspense, and romance all rolled into a fast read. The story lines you up nicely to read more about Colin's hot sexy brothers and Lexi's bestie, plus the nice friendly town.
