Can you say ROLLER COASTER!!!!
When I say I couldn't stand the men in this book, I mean I borderline hated them. The only redeeming quality was they got their karma in spades. But whew!!!! There was a lot of back and forth and immaturity and wishy washy, mess!!!
Half the time I didn't know if I was coming or going with this story but it was SO WELL WRITTEN, I couldn't stop! And have the nerve to be excited about the next installment like the glutton for punishment i am!
If you like messssssy...this is your book.

Drama filled
This story was drama filled and had me at the edge of my seat. Ivy and Kolyon were so toxic, I’m glad they finally got it together. I’m sad Ginger didn’t get her HEA with Dortch.

Wow all I can say is there is a lot of drama and action non stop in here... This book kept me wanting more... I am talking cheating, lying, killing, sneaking around, hiding secrets, fighting feelings and so much more...
I really liked Ivy and her best friend Ginger (Gin)... These women had a pretty good head on their shoulders... Ivy was more reserved while Ginger was a little more free and wild... But they evened eachother out perfectly... One night while they were having a girls night out with their other friends Vicky and Vanessa little did they know what the night would bring... When a dare waa placed on the table that caused the whole night to change and peoples lives to change... Some for the better and some for the worst... Also some things that people thought was a secret was not as well kept as some may have thought... Because this night everything was coming out...
Then we have Kolyon and Dortch that are also best friends... They are starting to build a reputation in the streets... One night in the club and they both were checking out the same woman... Little did they know how things would all play out after crossing paths by a dare with two beautiful women... This encounter had these mens mind blown... They had never encountered women like this before... Little did they know what a big impact these women would have on their loves forever...
Chris was friends with Dortch and Kolyon but he was a little to sneaky for me... I think this is why things never went his way... But we see what his greed and jealousy got him in the end...
Vicky and Vanessa are sisters... Vicky is a good sister while Vanessa is the wild one... She is willing to do everyone dirty... She will sleep with anyone's man... No one is off limits to her... But she keeps getting herself caught up in situations that keep ending bad for her... But look at what she got for all her shady ways in the end... And look what she brought her sister into...
Imani and Manny were brothers... They were deep into the drug game but they also had plenty of legit businesses... Imani was working with Ivy and the attraction was there... But Ivy kept putting off... But once she finally gave him a chance... Her life has changed drastically again. But it is not just herself that she has to think about... I was really feeling Imani and I thought he was an amazing guy... But he quickly changed my mind... Like why did he have to change on me like that...
Manny was such a good guy... he gave his all for his relationship... But why did Gin have to do him like that... Why did she lead him on... I know it may have not been intentionall but she just kept dragging him along... But what happened to Manny... After everything went down that was it... I have no idea what happened to him after the last encounter... Did he finally find happiness... Does he still want her even after what he found out... I feel like I am missing information...
Good thing there is a spin off to this with Ginger that will hopefully give me some closure in some areas...

No matter what happened. Ivy should've told Kolyon about Legacy and Kolyon shouldn't have had no reservations about telling Beemer hoe ass about Legacy either because it happened before they got together. I couldn't stand Beemer. From her fake body to her fake love she claimed to have for Kolyon. I knew it was only a matter of time before her secrets caught up to her. Beemer was really trifling. Dortch didn't like her and was trying hard to get Kolyon to leave her alone. Dortch was battling with his feelings for Rissa and Ginger which was dangerous because Rissa was literally crazy over him but for some reason he couldn't stay away from Ginger. Rissa flipped when she stumbled on the truth. Imani calling Chris a snake was the pot calling the kettle black. True enough Chris was a snake and was jealous at Kolyon and Dortch friendship. However Imani was a snake as well. Ivy learned the hard way that Imani wasn't the man he thought she was when her and her son life was in danger. While Manny may have been a part of his own brother demise. I believe he didn't help Kolyon, Ivy, Legacy, and Ginger out of the kindness of his heart. I believe he did it to get with Ginger but that fell through. Venus was a trifling mess. She opened her legs to any man who smiled her way. She didn't care if it was her sister man or her friend man. Venus was also conniving and scandalous. I knew sooner or later all of her dirt was going to catch up with her. She died doing what she loved to do. Being on her knees.

This book was wild!
Kolyon and Dortch were some weak a$$ men FRFR SMH! They got what they deserved!
Ginger “Snaps” moved like a nicca and she’s like I can play games just like you all; However different strokes for different folks and when some women liberal they are called out their names, but when men do it they “macking”.
I wasn’t feeling Ivy in what she did by keeping that secret, but what’s in the dark comes to light eventually!
What I love was Ivy and Ginger relationship! Even though they both had their own issues they rode for each other! Ginger needs to know that she has to live her life and not her parents because she was going down a slippery slope!
There were twists and turns and some scenes saying “oooh no you didn’t, oooh no you didn’t”

Oh!!! the drama 😲
This serious is so enjoyable. There are two sets of best friends. How they meet up and come together starts this book off. It's nonstop action from there. The drama in this series is endless and the interaction between the two sets of best friends and all the characters that come in make this a book you cannot put down.

Too much
There was entirely too much going on in this second story. The fact NONE of the couples got together until the end was aggravating. And after all the stuff we went through Dortch and ginger and she meets someone else at the end. It was entertaining though. And I love this author.

Great read so many snakes was exposed. I'm sorry Ris. Dortch you should have done better. That's good for Venus gold digging butt. I'm glad the baby was his I love the two couples together they are too funny. I guess Manny walked away at least I hope so. Poor Vicky she changed but had to make some peace.

This book was too long to end like that lol I’m sorry I am so confused on why it was written to make it that long. It dragged and all these unnecessary characters were beyond me. It was too many people dying with no follow up. They just left the book and life carried. Not fully developed and flushed out to be that long…

En joyed the story. Just felt it needed a little more meat. Some of the plots were just skimmed over no substance or follow up. Like how Rissa get in Gin house, no more was heard about Beemer or Kole real dad. It was mentioned and went away.
