Who picks up a hitchhiker in an area they’re just passing through? I don’t know if these two guys are crazy, or just incredible.
Hannah Howell finally did it. She finally packed a bag and left her abusive boyfriend. But now what?
No phone, no car, no other choice, Hannah hops on the highway to hitch, heading to California in the hopes of staying with her cousin Zack and his partners. She strikes it lucky when Nathan Greene and Jeremy Webb stop for her.
The two best friends, stressed out from work, are taking a road trip, ready for some adventure. But maybe they end up with a little more than they bargained for when they pull over.
She’s cagey, understandably, so Nathan makes a secret suggestion to Jeremy: a fake relationship between the two men to set her mind at ease. What he doesn’t admit is how badly he wishes it were real.
And what he doesn’t know is that so does Jeremy.
But fate put Hannah in their path for a reason, and she might just be the missing spark to start a blaze between them all. And when Nathan and Jeremy come together at last, the sparks become a raging inferno.
Will this turn out to be no more than a passing fling? Or are these three broken hearts made to fix each other?
Just Passing Through is a bisexual menage romance with high heat MM and MFM scenes. (Swords do cross in this one!) It has no cliffhangers and no cheating, but it does have lots of steam and a happily ever after for everyone involved.
This was book 9 in the " Just Us " series. This was another short quick read that I liked. Jeremy and Nathan have been best friends since they were kids they decide to go on a road trip to spend some time together. Both of them have been in love with one another since they were kids but both ate to afraid to say anything. While driving they meet a young woman hitchhiking her way to California. Hannah is running from her abusive boyfriend with scars and a black eye she doesn't know what to think when Jeremy and Nathan pick her up at first she gives them a fake name. The guys tell her that they are a couple to help her relax and when she tells them her story they are both upset but Jeremy understands he grew up in fostercare after he was taken from his abusive drug addicted parents. These three get hot and heavy and when Hannah finds out the the guys lied to her she leaves. This was a good read I felt bad for Hannah but I also wanted to slap her for leaving them without hearing them out. The guys don't give up they know where she is going and he they are going to get there girl. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
*Spoiler Alert* Jeremy & Nathan plan a road trip just to get away from the daily grind at work and to relax. Except when they pick up hitchhiker Hannah (FMC) things dont go to plan and things definitely get steamy between the three of them. Liked this book as much as the others ive read by Ms Riley. All short stories with characters that you cant help but like and with plenty of steam. A pretty good read of i thought so
Hannah is hitchhiking out of town to get away from an abusive ex. She knows it's dangerous, but she's desperate. Luckily she finds a ride with two good men who only want to help her.
Nathan and Jeremy are best friends on a road trip. They also might be secretly in love with each other. When Hannah enters their lives, she opens up the opportunity to finally admit their feelings for each other as they discover new feelings for her.
This was okay. I loved the premise of Nathan and Jeremy being friends since childhood and having unspoken feelings for each other. But I hated the heavy backstory going on for Hannah.
I have a hard time getting into erotica that has heavy and depressing storylines because it doesn't fit with the nature of this type of steamy romance. And sometimes it makes the timing of the sex feel super unrealistic and awkward. I have a hard time believing that Hannah -- a woman who JUST got out of a physically and emotionally abusive relationship days ago -- would be a-okay getting into a car with two strange men. And I have an even harder time believing she would've been ready and willing to open herself up to sex and a relationship with them. So this heavy backstory only works against such a short erotica story that should remain lighthearted and sexy. This isn't the first time this series has had heavier side plots and I very much dislike them.
The sex scenes were okay but I was still having a hard time getting into the story as a whole.
Everything else just felt rushed and insincere to me. I liked the characters but things between them felt rushed and unrealistic to me.
Overall it was okay at times, but the entire setup with Hannah really put a damper on my enjoyment of it. I'm leaning towards not continuing this series at this point. They are always just okay and never really hit the mark for me.
P.S. Series-connection-wise, Hannah is Zack's cousin (from Just Be Mine).

Nathan and his best friend Jeremy are taking a 2 week vacation to a destination chosen by a dart and a map. I'm the way the pick up hitchhiker Hannah. 2 years ago Hannah thought she was living in a RomCom. Then Jason turned abusive. She finally escaped and heading to her cousin Zack. The bus station is a six hour walk. It's cold and raining. When two hot guys offer he a lift and a teaser to make her feel safe she takes a chance. Nathan and Jeremy have been dancing around their attraction to each other since they were teens. Both afraid of looking their best friend. Helping Hannah has brought them closer together. Hannah gives them the push they needed to.admit their feelings. Admitting the truth, exposes a lie and Hannah runs. Nathan and Jeremy are determined to find their girl and make her theirs. Sweet and steamy, with a nice epilogue to wrap up their story. Ties to the other Just stories, but reads fine as a stand alone.
So my normal guilty pleasure is a mfm or even a reverse harem. So when I came across Roxann's little "Just . . .". series I couldn't put it down. Each book entrapped me with the characters. And pulling for their HEA.
She has got me hooked, maybe even expanded my kink horizons. At least when it comes to reading material.
I hope this review helps to tantalize your interest the same way Roxanne has hooked mine.
This was a short read. It didn't have a lot of background story, but it was a fun read. There were spelling errors and a sentence that abruptly ended.
I did like the chemistry between the 3 characters. I have read this authors books before and have liked them. This was just a little to fast and not a full developed book for me.
Just a short kind of erotic novella. Not a huge fan of the instalove and the abusive boyfriend plot. It was cringe considering the way the story went. Also, don’t like the “little bird” and emphasizing she’s this small, almost childlike woman. Only 3 sex scenes and they were okay but awkward. Noticeable grammar and spelling issues.
Wow this story is okay. It was not what I was expecting. While the idea of the story is good, I can't get past some of the errors that need to be corrected. They are too much for me. I actually almost stopped read it.
Nathan and Jeremy pick up Hannah as a hitchhiker - they both figure out pretty quickly what she's been through and let her ride with the to California - on the trip they really get to I ow each other , and things they do for her will melt your heart.
Is running to save her life, her boyfriend has beat her up to many times. Nathan & Jeremy have been friends since they were kids but never have really been couple. They are Hannah hitchhiking on the trip and pick her up and it goes from there.
This was a nice story with sweet characters. I loved the story line and the sexy times and the back stories were really interesting. I only wish there were more personal intimate times between the two men.
This girl has been through hell. But she got herself out of it and her journey to freedom gives her what she’s always truly wanted, love and family. These guys are perfect for her, and each other.
I enjoyed this book. It was a quick easy read. Please remember this is a Ménage story so if this isn't your type of story you will not like it. I liked the characters and the story as a whole is well written. I would encourage everyone to give this one a chance.
The male characters were a bit similar, but they were both stuck sweethearts I can let it slide. Hannah was a lovely heroine and the serious situation she was leaving was handled with grace and sensitivity by the writer and the characters.
Such a sweet story for something so hot. Definitely makes me want to go back and read about the others. A few editing oops & gaps took me out of the moment, but the story was good. The characters really came alive for something so short.
I enjoyed Jeremy, Nathan and Hannah's story very much. It was well developed as a quick instalove story. I wish it had been proofread and edited - it would have been that much more enjoyable without all the errors jumping off the page. It wasn't enough to stop me from reading it though.
I liked the story, I just wish it was longer! The loss of the fifth star is because of the typos and editing issues. I've seen worse issues, but overall it was a good love story between three people.
Absolutely loved this book and would thoroughly recommend it and hope that other readers enjoy it too. Two friends denying what they both feel and the woman that they help fleeing a bad situation. Can she be the catylst to bring all these three together?
Just Passing Through (Just Us #9) by Roxanne Riley – An impulsive road trip leads them to pick up a hitchhiker, but this road trip could be exactly what they all needed. Very cute instalove! Happy Reading!
Nathan and Jeremy are on a road trip. Both have feelings for each other but not willing to say. They pick up Hannah on the road and one thing leads to another and
Sweet MMF romance with hidden attraction and heroes who help the girl but don’t save her, she’s got that covered. Loved this charming friends to lovers story!
