Beautiful Bliss: A DC Love Story
Imagine your life changing in a matter of seven days.
28-year-old Cori Williams is the owner of one of the hottest hair salons in the DC metro area. It’s also no secret that her father is the head of the notoriously dangerous Metro Syndicate. Over the years, Cori has done her best to disassociate herself from her father’s criminal activities and has vowed to steer clear of the family business at all costs.
30-year-old Antonio Medina, aka Deuce, is the number two man in the city. He knows exactly who Cori is and he’s determined to make her his lady. This was a pretty good read... I liked the storyline and the characters... Well some of them... It read at a nice fast pace...There was backstabbing, stealing, fighting and so much more... I kept feeling some type of way about Ghost and Rain...
I liked Cori... she may have been young... But she was very smart and about her business... She was running her own hair salon and it was very profitable... everyone went to her shop... She had a high clientele and word got around about how good she was with her hands... Well one day in walked a man named Antonio (aka Duce) he had been checking for Cori for some time but he chose this one day to finally meet her up close and personal... Let's just say that once these two meet the rollercoaster on fast forward began...
Antonio is the man in the streets... He is under Cori's father Cash... He has been working with him for while and he is very good at what he does... Cash was training him to take his spot... The only problem with that is Ghost and Rain which are Cori's sisters husbands are not to happy with that... They start moving funny and trying to get Duce out... But to much is happening and it is not looking good for Ghost...
For so long Cori has always said that she does not want a man in the game... she was determined to never deal with a man like that... Yet once she crossed paths with Duce things changed... Very quickly... It was like they fell in love over night... But some of Ducs's past try to rear its ugly head to tear what they have apart... And just things start going good Antonio pulls this... Then Cori finds out some information and is having a hard time dealing with it... Then the family is hit with a crisis... Now things are being shaken up with this close net family... All because of no good Ghost...
How will this family handle this... Will Cori be okay... Will Antonio be the man he needs to be for Cori or are there more secrets that may come and steal what him and Cori have away... Now to wait for part 2...

I really enjoyed reading about Deuce and Cori. Colina was a lost cause and it was crazy that she'd still feel as what occurred to Ghost wasn't for her own benefit as well. She went off the deep end and doesn't quite grip how her words could change things. Tanya thought she was doing something by being bitter and telling something but she only pushed Deuce and Cori closer. Cori was originally too hard to crack but I'm glad she didn't let Deuce's profession stop her from experiencing what he had to offer. Deuce proved himself and earned his position while making examples along the way. The love that's brewing between Deuce and Cori is everything and I can't wait to see what more obstacles they'll have to face and what will happen with Colina.

Beautiful Bliss
Really enjoyed reading this book from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline, plot and these characters. The more I read the better it got. Loved Deuce and Cori together and the way their relationship is blossoming. I'm sure it's more drama on the horizon. Colina, really lost it and don't realize that what happened to Ghost was for her own good and piece of mind. Ghost got exactly what he deserved. Hopefully, Colina gets it together. I got a feeling we haven't seen the last of Rain. After that ending I can't wait to see what happens next. Highly recommend this book. Job well done Simone.

Nice read
I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was really good and it was well written. It was interesting and engaging. I loved Antonio’s swag and he’s perfect for Cori. Their relationship did go a bit full speed but I hope it’s lasting cuz I love the chemistry that they have. Thank God Ghost is gone...cudnt stand his a**. But Colina needs to get it together cuz it seems like she loved the shopping’s she was getting.....that cud be arranged. Let’s see what happens in part two. Nice read!

When I say you did that...it’s an understatement. This book was so good. I hated to see it end. I started good and ended great. I love Deuce and Cori together. Ghost got exactly what he deserve. I hope Colina gets it together. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next. This is definitely a must read. It deserves more than 5 stars...I can’t wait to read part 2...Great Job Simone!!!!

This series is about to be fire Antonio is bae I love him and Cori together. Colina should know what comes with the game she been around it all her life and why take up for a man that was beating on her she is really sick and need help I'm glad part 2 is out I'm going straight to it.

My First Read by Simone and I'm Hooked
Yes honey. This was a great read. It was a little fast paced but the storyline still flowed smoothly. I'm loving me some Deuce right about now. The storyline is intense and I can't wait to get into part 2.

This was my first read by Simone and I was not disappointed at all. I love Antonio and the way he loved Cori. Colina was crazy she definitely need help. I loved the way the story flowed. I'm definitely reading part 2.
