“We were always stronger as three.”

Forgiven is book four in The Power of Three Love series by Leigh Lennon. This is the story of three people, two of which share a past that includes heartbreak and betrayal. This is a story of forgiveness, healing, and finding the person that is the piece of your life you never knew you was missing.

Clara Ashley is a successful historical romance author and the single mother of a very special three and a half year old little boy. Clara thought she had everything, a man she loved, their precious son. But her husband was keeping a secret from her. One that destroyed their marriage. It’s been three years since the divorce. She still loves him as much as she ever did. She may have even forgiven him. But she will never trust him.

Bodhi Chambers is little Declan’s father, Clara’s ex-husband. He and Clara are co-parenting Declan and making everything as easy as they can for their little boy. But seeing Clara regularly is always painful. Because he never stopped loving her or regretting the huge mistake he made. He needs to accept that he has lost her forever but he just can’t seem to.

Jack Calypso is a lawyer. Jack is ex-military and suffered a devastating accident which ended his military career. He still suffers from PTSD.

Jack and Clara meet at a birthday party for Clara’s friend and hit it off instantly. Their chemistry is off the charts. He knew right then and there that he had to see her again.

sexy times

Jack and Clara’s feelings escalate quickly and Jack also falls for Clara’s little boy. But when he meets Clara’s ex, and their hands clasp, lightening strikes again. Not only is he head over heels for Clara, he’s also attracted to her ex-husband. And it seems the feelings are mutual.

men's hands shaking hands - Google Search

Jack and Bodhi agree that they won’t hurt Clara. So they try to ignore their feelings. But Clara can clearly see what is happening. She has fallen love with Jack and never stopped loving Bodhi. Could she ever trust Bo enough to let him back into her life, their life? Could she even allow herself to dream that she could share a life with both of the men she loves?

“I don’t have to see to believe. I just choose to believe, and the rest is up to you.”

I enjoyed this so much. The author tackled several difficult subjects in this book and handled them all so well. I don’t want to tell you what they are and spoil the book other than that I already mentioned Jack’s PTSD. These three were all struggling on their own but together, they were so strong. Jack was the glue that held them together. But when Jack needed support, Clara and Bo were right there for him as well. And don’t get me started at how adorable little Declan was.

Each of the books in this series can be read as a stand alone. But the characters do recur in each other’s books. This was steamy and sweet and so enjoyable. If you like this genre, I hope you’ll grab it for yourself and enjoy it as much as I did.

This was an intricate story of love and trust. Clara and Bodhi had it all but trust was broken and now their interactions centered around their son, Declan. When Clara meets Jack the attraction is instant , just as instant as the attraction between Jack and Bodhi. Together the three of them must find their stride and open their hearts to an unconventional love, bot a love that works for them. I have read a few triad (menage) stories and Leigh Lennon once again makes a taboo-ish topic comfortable where you only feel the love of the characters shining through with respect and grace. I really enjoyed it.

Where do I even begin?
I always enjoy a good triad relationship as long as all parties are getting what they need from the relationship and this one did that in spades for me. Leigh Lennon gave me characters that had me rooting for them right from the beginning even when things weren't looking good, she gave me a story to loose my self in and it drew several emotions out of me which is always a plus.

Sorry but bisexual people don't NEED both males and females. He said he had dreams of loving both a man and a woman. That's about veing poly, not being bisexual.

They can be in committed relationships with either gender. The whole reason he cheated was because he was hiding his smexuality? As if bisexual people need both and will be pushed to cheating.

There is no talk about the cheating, what his thought process was, why he did etc.

This was a rage read for me.

Just nope.

“I was a fool. I’m not letting you go. And this *** over here is a bonus.”

I absolutely devoured Leigh’s latest book. I have been a one click fan of Leigh’s ever since i read my very first book of hers. I adore her books. There is never a dull moment in her books. She walks us through a very slow, and emotionally painful book to get to the Happily Ever Afters. This book is no exception to her writing style.
In this book we first meet Clara after she divorces Bodhi. Bodhi had a secret that he felt he couldn’t share with Clara despite the deep love he has for her, and in a moment of weakness he betrays her in the worst of ways. Three years later she is still trying to come to terms of his betrayal.
When Clara attends a birthday for her best friend she meets Jack and the sparks start flying. Their attraction to each other is electrifying. Jack knows beyond a shadow of doubt that he wants to be with this woman and when he meets her ex-husband...things get very interesting very quickly. Jack sees a future with Bodhi and Clara if he can convince Clara to forgive Bodhi and learn to trust him again. Unknown to the three of them Clara and Bodhi’s relationship won’t be their the triad’s biggest challenge. That will come in the form of Jack’s PTSD...when Jack’s demons surface and he leaves will they be able to go on without him and will Jack be able to find his way back to the family he desperately wants to hold on to?

This book was a real roller coaster ride of emotions. Clara, Bodhi and Jack's story is intense, emotional and super hot. It is so easy to become completely consumed by this trio's complex relationship. There is drama, angst, heartbreak, pain, mistakes, anger, desire, love and yes, forgiveness. This is a book that is as emotionally moving as it is temperature raising. I loved it and thought it was another great addition to The Power Of Three Love series. This is my sincere, volitional review.

When Bodhi's secret ends their marriage, neither thinks a second chance is ever in the cards for them. Not that they don't still love each other, because they do, but infidelity and lies were just too much for their marriage to withstand.

But now Clara's got a new love in Jack. Is he her chance at a great love? Or is there something even better, even more complete in her future when it becomes apparent that Jack and Bodhi feel for each other what they feel for her too?

Clara, Jack & Bodhi's story is emotional, sexy and a bit heart-rending. I like how Clara and Bodhi get their second chance, while adding an additional, necessary component to their love when Jack came into their first Clara's life then Bodhi's. As far as menages go, this one is top notch, the balance between the emotional and the physical is achieved well, and I absolutely fell in love with all three, especially Jack.

This is the first book that I've read by this author and I didn't know what to expect but it was fabulous. This book is full to the brim with emotional heartbreak, drama, love, hope and forgiveness.
This is book four in the series. The Power Of Three Love #4
I knew I was going to like this book straight from the prologue.

Clara was married to a man she truly loved that is until she found out that he cheated on her. Now years later it's been hard but she's moved on and started a new relationship. The problem is that she has never really stopped loving her ex husband, Clara had thought that she had forgiven him but I'm not so sure.

Bodhi was married to Clara they have they were loving and devoted parents to the son they has together, Declan. But he has a secret and hurts Clara deeply. Bodhi was heart broken when she fell for another man, even though he lied to his ex wife when they were married, the man she is with now Bodhi also finds himself falling for.

Then there is Jack when he met Clara he fell in love with her so fast
but he also has a huge, massive dilemma he's also attracted to her ex husband.
(NO SPOILERS).

This book is a very powerful emotional journey and will have the readers emotions all over the place. This book has twists and shockers that you also won't see coming. This author has written this story so good and I really couldn't put this book down, it will have you hooked from the very first page.

These three characters are so strongly connected that it's blinding.
Clara thought she still had alot of feelings going on that she hasn't dealt with between her and Bodhi, but she also has some very strong chemistry between herself and Jack.
I always love books that epilogues too as I always feel like it always adds that something extra special to the story. This book was told from different points of view which I always like and prefer.

Thank You to the authors and the publishers for allowing me o read an early copy of this book.

Received ARC for Honest Review.
I Give this book a 4-4.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 4.
I Will Not Spoil the Actual Story, Which is Very Good!

HEA(?): Yes!
Relationship Type: MMF
Heat: 3-3.5/5, Fairly Minimally Described, almost felt like they were fillers. The Heated scenes felt almost Foggy.
I did get burnt out on the word ‘Sir’.
Romance: 5/5
Suspense: 4.5/5
Drama: 3.5/5
M/M(?): Yes. Kinda. Rating: 1-1.5/5, it’s Extremely Minimal. Pretty Much Kissing & a Handjob(s).
No Actual Sex Scenes Between Them, Who is Primary Top & Bottom or Switch is a Mystery. That was a downer.
I’ll make a new category because of this: M/M Lite (while its not a bad thing, I did go in expecting to read at least some steamy scenes, and did not get was I anticipating)
I Can’t Put this in My M/M Deliciousness, cause well there wasn’t honestly enough.

Just Letting you know this is a Book mainly focused on Love rather than Heated Scenes.

I really enjoyed this book, it was very well written though the book does feel rushed near the last half of the book.
It did feel near the end that Bo, Clara & Jack were written by someone else, which made the end result have a muddled feeling that made the HEA and Epilogue(s) to follow feel less important.
I honest believe this book Should’ve been a Duet.

This one was a bit different than others in the series, we start with a divorced couple and with the help of another man, they were able to mend the hurt and issues stemming from the divorce. Was it easy, no, but through it all Jack pretty much demanded frank and open talk. It started when it was just him and Clara dating, then added Bodhi in when Jack was going to met Declan, their son. Then you add the attraction between Bodhi and Jack, there was no way this wasn't going to work without each adult doing the hard work of talking about things, it was great to see. Even when Jack had his PTSD flare up, they talked about things. Sure Jack had to go away to really fix things, but in his own way he communicated and Clara and Bodhi went forward with their lives as Jack was going to slide back in, the right way to go. I loved seeing how things were in the future for everyone, nice to see them living happy.

WOW!!! This story, I absolutely loved Clara, Jack & Bohdi's story. This one really tugged at my heartstrings for so many reasons. And let's not forget about the little boy who won my heart Declan, we was an incredible character and written so well all things considered(don't want to give any spoilers) This story was about love lost, new loves found, forgiveness and understanding. I laughed and yelled and the characters and cried at both the happy and sad times. And can we talk about Chapter 21 and how HOT that was, probably two of the hottest things I have ever read. I love how even though this is a standalone book, you see other characters from previous book in the story. I did not want to put this book down once I started reading it. Leigh has written another MMF book that is perfect for anyone who loves this genre. All of the books in this series have been good but I fell this one has the most emotion with Jack, Bohdi and Clara. These 3 have all been hurt and have faced and uncertain future of ever finding the real love that they all deserve.

This story was great a flowed along and you could fell the emotions that each person was feeling in love and loss. Trying to make a family work is challenging but throw in a 3rd and if you find your way then all the better. This is not a typical unit but they make it work for their sake and the sake of their children. Love is Love for these 3 and making it for them is what they all want.

This can be read as standalone but you get a bit of Jack in another story but this one you get all of him and how Clara and Bohdi lost and then found each other.

Not going to lie, I’ve been so excited to read Jacks book and it was worth the wait. He had his own issues but I love how he worked through them with Clara and Bodhi but knew when he needed more help. They were a great addition to this series. There is so much I want to say. About Clara and Jack meeting and becoming who they were, Clara accepting both Bodhi and Jack and their connection, about how Bohdi and Jack progressed, how Jack accepted him self even with his setbacks and just wanted to be the best he could be..... there is just so many amazing parts of this book that rugged at my heart, stung my eyes either tears and had me giggling. This series is in my top 10 and I can’t wait to see more. Also, loved seeing the past couples that you can’t help but love and seeing them living their best lives. 4 stars #2OCCJD

Clara divorced her husband Bodhi when she found him sleeping with someone else. They share a little boy and remain close to raise him together, she still loves him but cannot get over the betrayal. She decides to move on with her life and one night at a friends party she meets Jack.

After a heated night with Clara Jack finds himself head over heals for her. As their relationship evolves Jack is upfront with Clara about his sexuality and admits his attraction to Bodhi as well.

Can Clara, Jack and Bohdi become a triad relationship? This book will take you on a ride of emotions, lots of drama, heartbreak, mistakes, desire and love.

This was overall a great read and I highly recommend it.

This by far was my favorite book in the series!! I love a good second chance romance, and there was a lot of that happening between Jack, Bodhi, and Clara. I'm glad that Jack finally got his happily ever after walking away from the relationship he had with Cami and Dane...…..and that he was able to help bring exes Bodhi and Clara back together in the way he did. This was the relationship he was always meant to be in, even if it was a little messy along the way. Such a wonderful, emotional and well written story - and I loved all the epilogues showing us the glimpses into their futures!

So much love for these 3! This book starts off with a bang! And I mean a BANG! Jack MADE this story possible in my opinion! His patience and wisdom are what get everyone on the same page eventually. Clara and Bodhi have serious issues.... love was never a problem with these 2... but regaining her trust is going to be a tough sell. With good reason. But the way that Jack just brings them all together is so smooth...he made it look easy! If you enjoy MMF, second chance single parent story this is one you need to check out! It really does tick off all those boxes and then some!

I was not expecting this story. This was my first Leigh Lennon book and she absolutely wowed me. This story was a powerful love story with so much emotion and heart. It dealt with real life situations and she did her research and made this story as real as she could. My son is on the spectrum and every case is different and her portrayal was very good. She just wrote a beautiful story.

I devoured this book and loved it from that first page to the very last with that beautiful epilogue and I can’t wait to devour more books by Leigh.

Jack, Clara and Bodhi have an incredible story to be told in this read and what an adventure it is. Bodhi hid part of himself from Clara (his ex-wife) yet he is still madly in love with her. Because of this betrayal Clara divorces Bodhi and meets Jack. The chemistry between these three is off the charts and I love their dynamics. I adore how they all fall unknowingly into a pattern of being there for each other. This author definitely throws in her twists and had me on the edge of my seat the whole time

This was just an ok read for me, I really wanted to finish the series and I love a good MMF read. I did like all the characters and thought they meshed really well together. I was really disappointed with the steamy scenes they weren't a lot and then they fated to the next day. There was a bit of angst and really liked how they all interacted with Delcan.

I like it enough to finished but i didn’t like the characters specially Clara , everything was about her and how “perfect” she was , I just didn’t believe it.

Jack was the good thing about this book everything about him was interesting.

Bodhi and Clara were boring.

DNF. Good writing, but not for me. There's also the fact that the heroine keeps calling his cheating a mistake instead of the choice it was makes me real mad and I lost respect for her.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It started off with love and understanding on just one person's part. But the other person was hiding who they were and didn't share that with their partner. Divorce and shared parenthood with both parties. But it takes a turn when one of them gets some steamy sex and starts to feel like they can now move on. But something plus them together just a few times with their child. However, they are both attracted to one other person. And now since they are being open with each other why not make this a relationship so all parties can enjoy it. And I do mean everyone. Relationships are built on trust and communication and once you have that anything goes. And that is what happens in this story. Don't know what I am talking about how about you pick up the book and read it. You will enjoy it.

I adore a good MMF trio book. And this author is a particular favorite in the genre. I have been waiting since Jack was first introduced to hear his story and it was amazing! I love the growth of the characters throughout the book and how dedicated they were to each other. This was a great story.

The nitty gritty: The story does begin with cheating but it is resolved and does not continue. There are also some themes of D/S in the bedroom as well as some talk of spanking. There is MM, MF, and MMF explicit sex in the book. PTSD and adapting and dealing with the stress on the individual and the family are a big part of this story. There is a HEA with an awesome extended epilogue. Enjoy!

Forgiveness

At first I didn't think I was gonna like Jack's story because I was salty he walked out on Dean and Cami. I get it now and dealing with PTSD I understand his reasoning to wanting to be a better him. Although he had a few trigger episodes but he sought help and came back to Bo , Clara and their son Declan. I love how Jack help Bo and Clara build their trust back after their divorce. He is the cement that holds their foundation together.💕💕

This is another great installment in the The Power of Three Love series. This one has a bit of twist when the Clara is moving on after her divorce from Bodhi. But things quickly get complicated as there are feelings all around. Also, there are other issues that need to be overcome on their way to their HEA. I absolutely loved the all the bonus epilogues.

I listened to the audio version and it was so well done.
