I thought this book is all about neuroscience. But it illustrates Mudra, Yoga, and Pranayama.

I feel Yoga and Pranayama shouldn't be performed without a proper instructor.

BTW, the content is good.

Concise and Helpful

This was an exceptionally helpful book. And concise too!

The author goes straight into the how-to details, not filling up page after page of history, etc.

Worth the purchase.

Good for beginners to breathing exercises and yoga

Good for beginners for the topics covered, especially since it's a concise read with pics. With that said...many of the listed yoga positions don't support the book's premise. You get better shoulders or better balance...

This is a simple and concise book enumerating yoga techniques / mudras / micro-exercises to be done daily for improving health. ‘Yoga’ actually means to unite ourselves with our higher self through meditation, breathing exercises and asanas.

The book also explains ‘detox’ which is usually misunderstood with physical detoxification (drinking juices followed by revenge / binge eating session later). Yoga helps in multidimensional approach i.e. both body and mind detox for an overall benefit.
