Derrick immediately panicked. He paced the floor pondering what Sasha’s next move was going to be. He had hit her one time too many and this time it was serious. “I can’t go back to jail,” he thought.Sasha Washington is a secretary who works in a Psychiatric Facility. Although she was raised in the “ghetto” due to unfortunate circumstances because of her parents. Sasha had done everything in her power not to remain there and move on for a better life. Sasha had everything going well for herself until she met Derrick. Derrick was the kind of guy that reminded Sasha of where she’d come from and he fit the description of “hood life.” Derrick was way below Sasha’s standards but having a soft heart forced her to see the good in him and she tried to help him change to be a better man. Although she longed for a different type of man that was successful and would treat her like a Queen, Sasha always ended up with a hood dude so she gave up on having the man of her dreams. Being with Derrick was one of the worst decisions Sasha ever made. Throughout the relationship, Sasha discovers that all the warnings about Derrick was true and she should have listened. Sasha learns the hard way and struggles with leaving until she become a “victim”. Will Sasha leave and find her happily ever after or stay with Derrick?

Beautiful lies and hurt!
Trials and tribulations will take Sasha through it all with Derek. He’s mean, hateful and an abuser. Taylor will stick by her bestie forever. And what I know is true that when u move the trash out the way a treasure will be found!!! Welcome Dallas!

Fed Up
This was a good happy ending book. Sasha finally got her happy ending. Taylor is her best friend and stood by her through it all. Derrick got what he deserved. Taylor and Sasha ended up with two great men in their lives. Great read!!!

Good Read.
New to me Author. I really enjoyed this book, it turned out better than I thought. Taylor made me mad at first, and then she got herself together. Dallas was a GOD send for her.
