Heaven's Helper My Little Star
Maureen Capistran did not know much, if anything, about God and Heaven. An admitted workaholic, living in the Boston area, she had little interest in spiritual topics. Accumulating wealth was her primary goal. Then without warning or reason, in 1989, Maureen began to experience episodes of demonic attacks that terrified her. Little did she realize at the time, she had been chosen by God for a specific purpose. God the Father gave Maureen many gifts including, healing, knowledge, and discernment to guide her in the mission He had planned for her life. He also gave her the grace to see and hear Jesus, the Blessed Mother and Archangel Michael. She has spent over 20 years in service to Heaven using these gifts helping people in need. This book was a little gem. It was a spur of the moment buy at a Catholic Shrine gift shop. I think I was between books and since it was a slender book I figured it might just hold me until I found something weightier to read.
I suppose what I liked least about it (at first) was how it was written in a "matter of fact" or straight forward manner. However, I adapted and just went with it and found her story to be engrossing if not unbelievable.
I suppose if a professional writer had written this story for her it would have been a longer book. However, I doubt the reader would have been any better enlightened or informed about the spiritual experiences and events Maureen Capistran lived through. And to be perfectly honest I came to enjoy her writing "style".
She told the story of her life and the journey of her spiritual transformation from being a non-spiritual, workaholic, young woman - striving for financial security - to being chosen by Heaven to be a messenger with a specific message!
It is a powerful message, told simply and honestly. It was only in hindsight that I realized a powerful story, such as this, could best be told only with the straight forward simplicity of a child.
I must also admit that at times I grew frustrated with the lack of details that I craved. But that was more a problem with me - rather than a problem with the author. She does not claim to have supernatural powers of any type or flavor. She is not, nor does she claim to be a theologian or someone with special insights or hidden knowledge.
In the end she had a simple, yet profound, story to tell ... and she did so beautifully. And I have to admit I admire her for that. Specifically, I admired how she handled and described the satanic activities and manifestations that she had to endure. These episodes could have dominated whole chapters in the book. However, they did not and she kept her focus on the important things.
This book was a quick read - less than 2 days. And I reread it later. I also contacted the author and as I suspected she was gracious. And she was kind. She answered my questions too. But most importantly she was real. I Can't think of a better compliment to give anyone.

This is amazing!
And not necessarily as Catholic as the other books I enjoy for inspiration. But our Protestant brothers and sisters, atheists, Jews, Muslim, Hindu's, Buddhism will soon incorporate the amazing strength of having both a Mother and Father in Heaven. This is truly a book that will allow me to live my life with the grace already given to me. And not to be under so much pressure of the many devotions I have running each and everyday, including daily Mass. I will approach my learning of Gods Will by surrendering in a very light hearted way and now know that Heaven doesn't want to put us under tons of added weight.
Ive grown a lot since coming back into the church this year but Maureens tips she shared from Heaven will get me even farther ahead and evolving even faster than im going now. I want to act like a true citizen of heaven and show others through example. Thank you Maureen for your courage to get through the trails and revealing as much as you did for us. God Bless you. I will be using this resource as a reference for sometime!

Started slow, but boy oh boy....
It started way too simple as if a teenager was writing. In the beginning chapters I did not desire to continue but trudged onward. Then around the third or fourth chapter, I felt a strong willingness to continue reading.
This is one of those books I could not put down , as it is full of good instruction and so personably relatable. The reader is not only left with a desire to continue reading on and on, but with an actual NEED to get more from this author...this book must not only be on your bookshelf, but in your hands at all times! Share it...

Heaven's Helper My Little Star
Wow what a wonderful book. Thank you to the author Maureen, what a beautiful story about God our Father, Jesus and our Blessed Mother. I learned a lot from this book and I will do my best to apply all I learned to love everyone and have patience and understanding. I now understand that we can talk to God and asking for guidance.

A Great Gift for You
I recommend this book to anyone who wishes to deepen their faith in Jesus and His Blessed Mother. And even more to any soul who feels as though they have lost their faith. God is real and loves and cares for you as if you were the only person in the world. This book will strengthen your desire to return that love.

Good Fruit
There are skeptics regarding the reality of God and His ways. However, this book provides many examples of how God reaches
out to His children, believers and nonbelievers alike, to draw them closer to Him. Maureen’s mission highlights God’s boundless love for ALL His children and gives examples of how they should act to obtain His blessings.

inspiring
I found Maureen’s story amazing and was inspired by her work and deep faith. It is comforting to know how close we are to the heavenly world and that Jesus and Mary are hearing our prayers and answering them in the way that is best for us.
