WHAT'S DONE IN THE DARK
Wow, this book had my attention from the prologue. Lady Lissa knows how to put some drama filled stories together that definitely have you locked in and wanting more. Never one to be disappointed when reading. Brick is one sneaky conniving dude. Can't believe he set Slim up like that. But Slim is also at fault for listening to Brick. Things are about to get real and hit the fan once secrets are revealed. How will these relationships and friendship survive. Cant wait to read part 2.

Whew chillay! Lady Lissa has done it AGAIN! It only takes ONE time to get caught up and Mika found out the hard way. I'm just glad her support system didnt allow her to throw away her schooling. Even though I didnt agree with her not telling Brick, I understood why she didnt go looking for him. Slim let Brick talk him into some mess writing a cheque his tail couldnt cash. Now I'm not saying I agree with what they did but I dont know why they had sex with these women unprotected knowing they had their people. Now Brick want to be father of the year to Connor, which he should, but he doing it the wrong way. Granted he never told Slim about Mika, but when he realized at the party, he had ample time to clear the air. Now it makes it look like Brick been conniving behind his back this whole time. Mika done thinking everything is all good, I just hope she is in for a ride because just that quick, she forgot what happened when they first met. It's an oh so true statement. What's done in the dark ALWAYS comes to light! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Really?!
I’m sorry but I just can’t with this book, like wtf! I really tried to like it but I skipped through 95% of the book. Shamika was so... naive like who leaves the club with a stranger, get drunk, and high with them then give up their virginity? They held a two minute conversation before she left with a strange man who’s name she didn’t know and vise versa.
On top of all this nobody in this book used a condom and everybody did what Brick said, even Slim. Shamika was just lost in the sauce honey. Sis just doesn’t have a fighting chance. She wouldn’t sleep with Slim but slept with Brick with no problem. Girrrrrl... I just can not! I’m undecided on part two, I have to brace myself for this type of stupidity.
F.Y.I: My dislike for the story has nothing to do with the author, she’s a great writer. My opinion is solely based on what I feel about the book and it’s characters.

Team Brick and Mika
This was really a good book I couldn’t even put it down but this book shows how some men be wanting their cake and eat it too especially when they are love with 2 women and they can’t pick and choose who they really want to be with. I like Brick but he needs to get it together and stop with these women especially Mika because Mika is a good girl and she doesn’t deserve that at all. She deserve to be happy and as for slim if he was a real a** friend then he would have fall back after Brick told him who Mika was to him but instead he wants to get all in feelings 🤦🏾♀️ but overall I enjoy reading this book and I just finish reading part 2 also so review is coming soon.

It's been a while since I've seen a person like Shamika. Eighteen, and still a virgin! Even though she was a bit green, she handled her business with her baby and her college career. Now Sophia is a different kind of female. She really don't care. Slim was hers and she marked her territory. The highlight of this entire story is Brick and Chyna. I need Part 2 so I can see how Brick plan to entertain a wife and a baby mama at the same time. I hope when Mika discovers the truth about Brick, she will walk away and leave him alone. This situation can only turn out bad! Lady Lissa, Part 1 was great and now I'm starting Part 2.

Brick was a selfish man, he wanted his cake, and ice cream too. Once he found out about Shamika, he should've came clean to Slim, if that was really his friend, but instead, he left Slim in the dark right along with Chyna. Now I wonder what Slim was going to do with that information?
Chyna was good to Brick, but now he had found every excuse to cheat on Chyna, with Shamika. Neither of these women deserved what Brick was doing to them. What happens in the dark, is brought to life, and I wonder what Brick would do if either of them found out about each other? Brick needed to figure out what he wanted, because he was playing a dangerous game, by toying with two women hearts.

I couldn’t stop reading this book
This story about to get interesting I wish Shameika would of found a way to find Brick to let him know she was pregnant I understand she was scared and a virgin but she wasn’t shy letting him busy her down on her first time she is too naive
for me hopefully she comes out of her shell and let Brick know she not the one to be played with and she knows her self worth but from starting this series she hook on his big ole 🍆 😂😂😂 I can’t wait to read Part 2 to see how Chyna going to react when she finds out he messing with the bloody stank girl again

I was all in
I enjoyed the book Brick is a whole hot mess the cheating is so disgusting. I feel so bad for Chyna because she really loves Brick but Brick has no respect for for her whatsoever. I also feel bad about Mika because she just caught up in lust with Brick. Then Mika did move on the irony of who she was dealing with had my mouth wide open and I was wondering was he going figure it out that he had some to get some answers from Brick. So now I’m off to read the sequel.

Drama, drama, drama. This book was drama filled from beginning to end. Things that happen in the dark always come to light and it definitely did inSlim’s case. Shameka was wrong for not disclosing to her baby daddy about her pregnancy and it took two full years before it came out. I can’t wait to see how these secrets, friendships and marriages fare in the end.

I knew Slim would have found out about Brick and Shamika. I can't wait until he finds out that Brick is Connor's daddy. Smh. Brick is real trifling though. Chyna is going to flip and Shamika is slow as bell. She ain't even ask him if he have someone. I can't wait for part two.

Naive love
What a risk Shamika took that first night! As naive as she may be, I have to give her props for staying the course and not letting a 'setback' knock her off her square. I just wish she would wake up to matters of the heart. Poor thing's in love and can't see the forest for the trees. Good start. Could use less repetitiveness, but looking forward to part 2.

I want my time back
I disliked everything about this book. Both women were stupid and unbelievable. I just kept rolling my eyes after every couple of pages. The 2 guys and one girl thing has always been done but this one was like really you couldn't come up with something better than this. It's the same he's a cheater storyline. I Wouldn't recommend

Omg this book was straight 🔥from the first page. I know Shamika would get caught out their from a one night stand. What are the chances that the guy who you dating is your baby father best friend. Lord this book just went from fire to straight bananas. Chyna is one crazy girl but she loves who she loves period. The ending was epic. Now to see what’s happening in book two.

For some reason I am bit disappointed. Shamika is way too young , naive and inexperienced to have a baby or any kind of relationship lying and hiding about any things to her mama when she has support . I don’t know if I will read more

I haven’t been reading for a while now, but when I saw this book and it sounded juicy I decided to buy it, I ended up buying all 3! All of the characters were amazing and the book was on point.I will be recommending this one to my granddaughter!
