She was born and raised behind the pine curtain in East Texas. Her favorite memories of childhood are sitting around listening to her family tell lies.
Some of the tales were spooky. Some had grim endings. Some were sidesplittingly funny. The stories all had one thing in common: each had an element of the mysterious or the unexplained.
Those weird stories molded Catie into a purveyor of her own brand of lies and legends. One day, she found the courage to start writing down her stories. It changed her life forever.

It was a very good read. Not the best, but not the worst either, you can definitely feel the characters and as each book you read forward it gets a little better! You can really tell that the author is growing into herself and as you read you feel her growing confidence almost as much as you feel Peri Jean growing into her powers. It is a collection that shows not only an author’s growth from a green writer into a seasoned author with in depth characters but a character’s growth from a young woman who is unsure of herself into a grown woman of confidence! Wonderful series and well worth the read!

I was so hooked on this series when I started reading it, that it took about 5 days to read all 11 books! Each book had a new and more intense situation, Peri Jean just couldn't catch a break. And yet she continued to fight for what mattered. I was sad for the series to end, I became so involved in the lives of the characters. Well done!

I read the series from beginning to end and I got so immersed that now I am having feelings of loss. I will miss all my new friends and mourn the ones who passed. Great read you will not be disappointed.

Great series can't wait for more books by this author
I don't know where to start watching the heroine grow and change as well as her friends was great. Life is hard and e wry choice counts .will definitely read these again.😀
