YAWN!! like change it up and be different ... so i prefer a cover like this ... i tend to be the person who doesn't often see the characters as the cover usually does show!!?

Well written!

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been a very rare occurrence that I could just pick up a book and read it in one day; but, I was captivated by these characters and their amazing love story instantaneously.

This is the first book I have read by JK West, and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. It was such a cute and fun book and I had a great time reading it. Allie is a dedicated, hardworking woman, working to get by and Devlin is rich and pretty much has had everything handed to him and now wants to own the family business. Total opposites, but so perfect for each other! He needs a fake fiance and she needs money. What starts out being a business deal turns into so much more! So many funny moments and hilarious dialogue filled the pages, I could not stop smiling. A laugh out loud, fun, and sweet romantic comedy you will not want to miss!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I Hate You. Marry Me! is a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy that proves the old adage "Opposites attract".

This story has delightful characters who are likable and relatable. The storyline is well written and filled with hilarity, a dysfunctional family, and two people who are supposed to hate each other but have to fake a relationship for personal reasons. This book will keep you laughing so make sure you have lots of time to read. You will not want to put it down.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I am looking forward to reading more of her work.
I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.

This is a fun Cinderella story type!
The heroine, Allie, is opinionated, has strong beliefs about the environment and about what she wants.
The hero, Devlin, seems a random playboy but has a deep side and his character is interesting.

The sister Sissy, is a great villain and thanks to her antics, the story gets interesting and funny.

Great quick reading

Cinderella stories are not real; maybe?

Love and hate are so close. She hated him, but did she really? Maybe she didn’t know the real man, and then maybe he didn’t know his real self until she came along. Funny, enjoyable, and well written.

An absolutely lovely Cinderella tale crossed with a hallmark Christmas movie. I laughed. I gasped. I cried. I couldn’t put it down. Absolutely must read for light entertainment.

Fun

Loved the ending. Goodness triumphs. The sort of Cinderella story with witty asides by the heroine. Fun way to spend an hour.

This was about the have and have nots. What was unbelievable he was a excellent business man and extremely intelligent but outside of the business world he was immature, selfish and lack of self worth. This came from being extremely rich his entire life. Growing up he had everything done for him. The only thing he did with his dad's teaching him was run the business.
She grow up lower middle class and her family had to work hard to get the minimum to live. Totally two different people. He needing her help so he could convince his father not to sell the company. His father 1st wanted him to get married before he would consider his proposal on how to turn the company around to be profitable again. She was his chauffer driver to the family home in Vermont. During the trip, his girlfriend (stripper) refused to wear the cloths he bought for her wear. Major arguments and she hopped out of the limo. He called all his exs to act as his fiancee, all said no. He paid his chauffer driver $250k to play the part. Lets say reality played a good part of this deal. Good relaxing read.

I Hate You, Marry Me by
J.K. West

A quick, fun read from JK West. Familiar plot, treated uniquely. It features great characters, good pacing and flow, and a solid HEA. The proofing and editing was well done, but there was one glaring error near the beginning of Chapter 13, where Devlin is referring to the blond hair he had as a child (Location 765 on my Kindle Fire), and he says he was a "toe head." Nope, he was a TOW head. Such a simple mistake, missed by author, editor, proofreaders and any beta readers. I got this instant visual of a toddler with a head full of toes.

But besides that I had no complaints. I wouldn't call it laugh out loud funny, but it is full of humor ous and snarky banter. I read it in a single afternoon. Great summer read.

Perfect end to my winter break!

I was attracted to this book at first by the title, as I recently got engaged (happily!!!) But enjoy these ROM com types. Well! Its a very delightful and quick read. I found myself falling for the characters, especially Allie and Devlin quickly and was enchanted by their differences that quickly brought them together. So entertaining and the fact it takes place around Christmas is a fun bonus! I was hoping to read at least one holiday fiction this season and now I can happily say I have! I'm sure I will be reading again and again, as it got multiple out loud laughs from me which takes a lot from a book! Download now and spend an afternoon or two reading this delightful story.

This book was free on Kindle Unlimited, and I added it to my Kindle thinking it might be a good, light read that would provide good escape on a dreary day. It did!! I was pleasantly surprised once I got into the book and enjoyed watching the interaction between the two major characters. The writing is good, the plot moves quickly, and I liked the main character who is a strong female not afraid to be true to her morals.

This is my first story by J K West and I recently listened to this Audiobook, it was sweet and funny. Perfect for listening to on my walks these cold evenings. Despite the titles, theres not too much hating going on and while the romance lacked a bit of the usual UST for a one-bed trope that I normally prefer in my romcom, I still loved this odd couple. It was a nice as a glass of chocolate milk and cookies.

This is the same plot you'd find in a Hallmark movie. It's about a woman named Allie who works for her dad's car company that has slowly been going out of business ever since Uber entered the chat. Her dad leveraged the house and so they're set to lose pretty much everything. In the meantime, it's Christmas and he needs to be Santa for these children but also needs to drive for his most important customer, Devlin Somerset. He's a billionaire who owns a box company called BAMAZON. In need of a fake fiancé in order to take over the family company as soon as possible, he enlists Allie to fill the role and they agree upon how much she should be paid to do this. I'm sure we all know how this ends.

It was a cute story for sure. After reading a couple of other books that had the same idea, back to back, I knew what was going to happen in the end. But knowing what will happen doesn't make the story bad at all. It was frustrating at some points and really sweet at others. It took me out of my reality for a while there and that's what matters to me.

No smut or spice.
A slightly morally gray character at times.
Enemies to lovers trope.
Worth the read. <3

It was great except Allie was excessive & demanding. Oh the demand is not blatant. It is subtle but still demanding & judgmental too🙄

Meh. Nah. This is like rice cake. It’s not disgusting to eat but it’s so bland and it will never fully satisfy you. Also the Cinderella retelling is overdone.
