A good read. Nice plot and loved the happy ending. When a homeless man is killed, Anna is called in because his body had been guarded by a small homeless little girl. A little girl that refused to talk to anyone. Can Anna get her too talk? A stolen jewel, a payout, a heartless cold killer, a curse, a string of thefts and a lots of arrests. Can the little girl pinpoint the killer? Who is it? Another homeless man, the light fingered butler or the fence? Even if she does pinpoint the killer, they will need evidence. Who will provide it and what will happen to the small child? The system?
