I liked this story a lot. I thought that it was entertaining and an enjoyable read. The characters were interesting and likable. The friendship between Rose and Ashley was awesome.

I loved how Eli was all-in as soon as he saw Ashley and just wanted to figure out how they could be together. Ashley tried to fight it but didn't have a chance when she already knew that she was falling for Eli too. I liked the way they clicked. The confrontation made me sad, but I loved the resolution. Their happy ever after made me smile although I do wish there was another epilogue further out because I'm greedy like that! I recommend reading this book.

Want More, Too Short - Fantastic! A compelling story that I didn't want to put down. It's fun, hot, over-the-top, and sweet. My only problem was that I quickly grew attached to the characters and wanted more! Ashley is caring, supportive, and protective of those around her, including her BFF Rose. Eli is trying to make up for past decisions. Together they are marvelous! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book

It’s been nineteen years, Rose, seems to have been waiting to have a dad. But, he never shows. So, one day she ask her socialite mom, and wealthy grandparents to hire a private investigator to, find him. When they plan to meet her best friend, Ashley, insists on coming with her. She has always looked out for Rose, because you can have all the money in the world, it doesn’t always give you street smarts.
Ashley comes from a merger background, therefore she has already been forced to have her eyes opened. Almost too much, to where she is fear, or maybe she would call it over cautious. Either way the two girls have each other’s back’s. On this day it is no different. When she sees, Rose’s dad, she is flooded. Not only is he as sexy as all get out, he is a sly flirt. Worse, he is just her type too.
Right away she lets, Rose know she’s got this, and departs. When it turns out she leaves her hat behind, and she returns to retrieve it. Eli has a lookout waiting for her, to bring her, to the bar. He waited an hour, or more for her, to return. Turns out, Ashley, had caught this computer moguls eye also.
Really good story of a father’s reunion with his daughter. It is rocky for many reasons, but having him dating his daughter’s best friend, sets a bad beginning. Yet you can see an feel the love between Eli and Ashley.

“I’m never going to let you go,”
This story was pretty decent for being a short insta-love read. Those can be REALLY hit or miss for me. I prefer more of a slow burn romance. This one tried and almost succeeded in being great. I like how Eli perused Ashley no matter what and it did take a bit for her to give into him. From the beginning of the book it seemed like they were going to make a much bigger deal about Ashley’s own abandonment issues because of her own father. They pointed it out a few times how she felt conflicted because of it but then they just dropped the entire thing which I thought was kinda odd. Overall I would recommend for a quick read.

Where to begin? The storyline was cheesy at best. The dialogue between characters was immature as the mains lacked any substance. This book took insta - love to the hilt and it wasn''t steamy. I feel the author rushed to get something out there and with complete disregard to the reader. Just because we read romance does not mean that us, the readers do not deserve an attempt at quality. This book never came close.

Great read and a quick story 🙂
“This is not just my story, Ash,” she says. I blink away tears as she throws her arms around me, rocking us back and forth. I look up at Eli and he offers me a small smile. “Yeah, he happens to be my dad, but he also happens to be in love with you, and I’m not letting anything get in the way of that. Ever. You’re my girl. I found myself skipping large parts to find more interesting stuff. Not the spicy parts, just something that held my attention. I got about half way through before I just couldn’t read anymore.
