Another one bites the dust
This epic saga of Light vs Dark continues with Zelup. He's been tasked to find another Guardian. There's 7 Guardians whose purpose is to protect the twin children of the Goddess of Light in the battle between light n dark. Mayra, the great Oracle of Territh, told family that something of value was in Sol's asteroid belt. (A cold rock, One among many floating in darkness, A shiny steel chamber. A figure shrouded in crystal, Two entering the mist, fighting for their lives. A spirit trapped by its own gift). These are his only clues to find the guardian. But before he undertakes his mission, decides a mini-vacation to the Double V is in order. The Venus Vacuum is a decadent club catering to anyone who desires a sexual encounter. He spots a woman that gave off a vibe that designated her as a "fish out of water". Sudden jolt ran thru him from head to toe. Instantly curious, wanting to know more about her & her delectable body. She reminded him of a tiny porcelain doll with exquisite delicate features & had a natural beauty rivaling any woman he'd ever seen.
Dr. Dawn Illya has degrees in engineering, medicine & artificial psychology. She runs her own lab funded on the tech she develops, making sure it can be safely consumed by the masses, not used to make war on others nor to enslave. Her latest project wound up in the hands of her rival the Hills Conglomerate, a soulless organization that would manipulate it to kill, maim or exploit. Frustrated, she decides,(with Ladee's help) to unwind @ Venus Vacuum. Once there she almost changed her mind but didn't want to be labeled a coward by her robot assistant, Ladee. (Ladee stands for learning automated device expansion, a cutting edge tech she developed that rivals any computer generated product). She ran into the the most handsome male she'd ever encountered. His voice deep, powerful, resonating with authority. His grin slow, subtle & absolutely devastating as she had the strangest urge to lick her lips when she spied the bulge in his pants. His gaze burned her from head to toe & back, a slow burn that caused the skin his eyes traveled over to ignite. Something in him called to her. She found Z incomparable, irresistible, irreplaceable, n easy to respond to.

Dawn is a super smart scientist/inventor who gets all her current work stolen by her boyfriend. After dumping him, she decides to have a night out at a club, never expecting that it would change her life.
Being third in line to be King, Zelup takes the role seriously. He doesn’t want anything to jeopardize it. Entrusted with a mission from his King, to find the Keeper of the Guardian, he decides to take a night off for pleasure.
The following day, Zelup finds the Keeper, but he must pretend to be someone else even though he doesn’t like it. Misunderstanding on both parties cloud his mission. Will Dawn & Zelup win in the end?

Lab Rats🐀
I just could not get into this book that contains a lot of paranormal👻 elements.
I did finish it, and it ends in a cliffhanger 😵!
I believe the author did notify ARC readers that The book did end in a cliffhanger, but it may not be in the published blurb information.
I love ADULT sci-fi romance, but this one book, not so much.

Wow. What a story. This is a continuation of previous stories, but can be read as a stand alone.
Mystery, deceit, kidnapping, love, hate. This story has it all. You never know what will happen next.
This is an awesome read that will keep you turning pages.

This is a highly entertaining story. Charged emotions, laugh out loud, deceit, lust, mind tricks, betrayal, love, stubbornness and much more. Zelup and Dawn are strong characterizations well written that add to the third installment to this Vartik King Chronicles series by Liza Probz. Loved it!

The third book in The Vartik King Chronicles series a well written story that kept me turning pages. This is human Dawn a scientist and Zelup's story of suspense, drama, danger, mystery, betrayal, lies, and romance. I want to read the next book. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The Vartik's search for the Guardians of the Goddess of Light continues. Finding and rescuing them is never an easy or uncomplicated task, and this time is no different. This is a phenomenal addition to the series!

Spending time with Zelup and Dawn was sooo entertaining. They are my favourite characters so far in this series. They had me laughing out loud one moment, then shaking my head at them the next. This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I enjoyed this book less than the first two. It followed the formula closely and I was waiting for a curveball.
I want to find out about the “end battle” but it might take awhile until I buy the next book.
