Wasn't sure what to expect with the main characters meeting online, but it turned out good. Deuce (DJ), and Dani took to long to meet in person, so that was a bit strange, and frustrating. However, Dani shared so much of herself so it gave Deuce an insight into her as a person of christian faith. I was angry by the antics of both Dale and Kelsey, but also upset that Deuce allowed Kelsey to play him the way she did. He stood up to Dale more than he did with Kelsey. Loved that the new group of family members Dani now has were involved in looking for her, especially my Favorite Wileys, Wiley Securities (Saint). They need to disband that Machseh cult, get rid of Dale and Kelsey. But this was a good book, and I can't wait to read Trey and Quade's stories. 😏
Deuce for the win, he deserved it. Deuce deserved Danica and all the love she was willing to give. Kelsey had strung him along for so many years he was visibly hurt. Kelsey even went as far as to married Deuce's associate Dale to drum up jealousy. Danica deserved a good man in her life and Deuce was just what the doctor ordered. They actually got to know each other without the influences of images (pictures) and develop genuine feelings.
This was a great storyline, I am two books into this series now. I am glad that Deuce got married, next is Ace. I am ready to see all the obstacles Trey and Quade go through to seal their fate with the love of their lives.
Loved the ending. It's nice to know the familiar is not always what we need. It's amazing how much we can connect to people by conversations, I do believe that you should get to know people through conversation before meeting them. The spirit is a better judge of character than the eye.
They say that the biggest form of flattery is to imitate a person, but I think that it went a little too far in this book. Dale definitely had some serious psychological problems and really needed to be lying on someone’s couch. He and Kelsey deserved each other. I absolutely loved Deuce and Danica’s relationship and glad that they actually got together.
Omg The Fineee Jackson Brothers all getting hitched . In this book Trey told his father. Mr Ace Jackson Sr. That he wanted to stay celibate and single his father said otherwise. We shall see if Mr Trey Jackson the last younger brother will get hitched next in his story.
Where should I start¿ The bad first, the grammar, misspelled words and names. Oh my word, the grammar is atrocious! It was irritating because the first part of the book was predictable. I say it again, the author needs to fire her editor, TODAY! The plot was very good after Danica's kidnapping. The grammar was not as noticeable with the intrigue.
I gave this book 3 stars it was very predictable. Being that I already knew what was going to happen it made it a little tough to continue to read. I'm just happy that Deuce and Danica finally got together.
I enjoyed this book more than the first one.. It’s sad that people can be so jealous of you that they will try to take everything from you.. I’m so glad everything worked out for the good.
This book was awesome!! I enjoyed Deus’ and Danica’s story. Ms. Brenda Barrett never disappoints her readers and always have them yearning for more good story telling.
This book took too long for Duece and Danica to meet. Duece is portrayed as a weakling too much in the story. This is my first series by this author and sadly it will be my last.
Deuces’s story almost lost me there was a lot going on. However once he and his dating site companion were sabotaged by way of someone pretending to be him. I couldn’t put the book down. I was so sure I had figured out how it was all going to end. Boy was I surprised
Deuce & Dani are everything online dating is soo different and for them to actually connect on a different level and Dale is a certified nut and his mother and sister are enablers
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Deuce (DJ) and Dani met through a dating website. They communicated via text only. Rivalry, jealousy, deceit was used to keep them apart. But true love conquers. I recommend this book.
After reading book 1 on ace. I found that I wanted to find out more about this family And what the secrets were. Each member Was uniquely different But all Members of a wonderful family. We all have secrets That need to be told.
Deuce, Duece wow his love story is so good. He was too trusting in my opinion but that just added to his character. That damn Kelsey I wanted to choke her, between her and Julian I needed a drank.
This is the second book in this series and I'm looking forward to the next book. This book has an interesting story line that I did not expect. It builds at a nice page.
I enjoyed the book! I really like how the main characters got to know each other without seeing one another and how when they finally met it was icing on the cake!
I could not put down my device. The brothers are so excited and I love them. I hope you work on some of the characters in this series. Brenda I Love Your Work
