Book 4:
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel Amish Joy: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 4) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
The ever fluctuating Baker household continues with multiple changes including three at times rocky romances including Joy and Isaac's and the joyful preparations for a baby offset by the grief accompanying barrenness. Missing her birth mother and lacking a close family bond, Florence seeks answers in the attic but only becomes more troubled when she finds hidden letters with connections to Carter's Englisher father, questions Wilma won't answer, her romance with Ezekiel wanes and her attraction to Carter grows.

Book 5:
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel Amish Family Secrets: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 5) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
An emotional and action packed story of upheaval ending with a wedding. As Florence and Carter's, Joy and Isaac's, as well as Wilma and Levi's loves deepen, Wilma reveals her and Carter's twisted secret, Florence takes steps to leave the Amish community to marry wealthy Atheist Carter, Wilma denies Florence both family and orchard, and an ironic twist of fate has trouble prone Cherish briefly coming home only to be sent back just before her Aunt Dagmar dies.
Book 6:
5 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel The Englisher: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 6) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
Newly wed Florence Braithwaite laments the decay of her father's orchard while learning to balance her precarious family bonds with the search for her birth mother's family and plans to start a new organic apple orchard but the lines between English, Amish and family are further complicated when her siblings seek her and Carter out for support and comfort as the self centered Wilma turns vindictive.
Also contains scenes of Cherish's struggle with loss,a surprise inspection to the farm, the promise of a new generation and the sadder themes of infertility, miscarriage and forced adoption.

Book 7:
5 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel Missing Florence: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 7) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
Poignant containing 2 weddings, a funeral, three pregnancies, some family strife, a hint of temptation and a missed opportunity. As Joy's and Wilma's weddings draw closer, Florence misses her siblings and her busy life but finds some comfort in photos of her mother, talks she has with maternal grandmother Betty, and her warm and giving husband Carter but, she secretly prays to regain her father's orchard. Wilma's continued manipulation, Levi's strict rules and the soon to be overcrowded house place the girls on edge and making them feel trapped.

Book 8:
5 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel Their Amish Stepfather: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 8) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
Conflicted with some scheming. Hope faces the dilemma of love versus community and the sisters continue to seek the counsel of the now pregnant Florence when the new year finds them without their mother in a full house with a strict schedule, a list of chores and the demand to turn all of their earnings over to their miserly, controlling, and at times verbally abusive stepfather Levi or go hungry.

Book 9:
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel A Baby For Florence: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 9) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
Full of drama with a fair amount of negativity. this fast paced novel has recaps of prior book highlights intermixed with snippets of the low moral resulting from Levi's increasing rules; the couples and potential couples rocky romances; Cherish's sly, manipulative and sometimes rude ways as well as an unexpected accident for Florence caused by Bliss's birthday present and Wilma's spiteful personality.
Can be read alone as it contains a good recap but is best if read in sequence.

Book 10:
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel Amish Bliss: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 10) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
Action and drama packed with a fair amount of negativity with a delivery that is at times awkward and stilled with a good degree of recapping. There are snippets from the lives of all the girl siblings including two of Cherish's schemes going awry, Florence and Carter naming baby Iris, Wilma's softening toward Florence and Carter, romances progressing for both Hope and Bliss as well as Levi and Wilma going on a trip leaving the girls unsupervised.
Can be read alone as it contains a good recap but is best if read in sequence.

Book 11:
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel Amish Apple Harvest: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 11) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
Primarily negative but easy flowing with a cliff hanger ending in a secret revealed. This sequel contains scheming on the part of multiple family members, the negativity of having a self involved Englisher visit, Levi's sudden softening personality, the plans to reopening the Orchard's store,Wilma's escalating critical and derogatory ways, the continued questioning of the Orchard's ownership, and a pregnancy for Joy.
Can be read alone as it contains a good recap but is best if read in sequence.

Book 12:
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel Amish Mayhem: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 12) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
Drama filled and easy flowing with a fair amount of conflict reflected by a bad newspaper article increasing increasing store traffic; Caroline's bad influence on Favor, her lying to avoid leaving, her flirty with the unmarried men in the family; Cherish's jealousy; the story of Wilma's hiding the will getting out; and Levi's heart attack.
Can be read alone as it contains a good recap but is best if read in sequence.

Book 13:
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel The Cost of Lies: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 13) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
Fairly negative again focused on Cherish's self-centeredness,loneliness, jealousy and abrupt oftentimes negative or callous comments. It was nice to see a softening in Ada and the start of atonement/reconciliation involving Wilma, Levi and Florence. Ends with a happy scene.
As Levi recovers in the hospital after a heart attack, he urges Wilma to make things right with Florence while at the same time Ada, Florence and Cherish focus on running the orchard, business and home. Contains a brief update on all the siblings.
Can be read alone as it contains a good recap but is best if read in sequence.

Book 14:
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel Amish Winter of Hope: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 14) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely.
This story contains a heavy portion of Cherish meddling, rocky personal relationships, a moment of temptation and some recap but ends on a happy note as Florence and Levi's relationship strengthens and Hope and Fairfax make up.
Can be read alone as it contains a good recap but is best if read in sequence.

Very good read

An interesting take on an Amish and non-Amish people, their attitudes towards each other, and how they interact with each other in spite of their problems.

great series

The stories are just like our messy families and their secrets. How God intertwines into the lives and their future decisions. Looking forward to the next set.

Really don’t have time to write a review as I’m on to the next boxed set 7-9. Does that say something about the draw of the series?
