Entertaining mystery listening 🎶🔰
Another will written romantic mystery family and friends relationships adventure thriller short story by Shawn McGuire (A Whispering Pines Mystery). Maybe O'Shea and Tripp her boyfriend are on vacation in Hawaii thanks to a friend back in Whispering Pines, Wisconsin. They get into the mystery of a missing bracelet. Working with a girl 👧from the gym they are successful in locating it. I would recommend this novella and author to 👍 readers looking for a quick mystery read. A different view of Jayne as she is on vacation in Maui. Short and cute with interesting characters. I missed Whispering Pines and I missed the secrets and culture. A well written short story.

Loved it.. Totally loved it! I started this book and I was like Ok! Good things.. Then bad things.. Then There is River. Then some freaky, creepy things that really made me wonder.. Then a question that I have been wondering! Still with no answer. I wonder if it will get answered in the next book... And a new character who I enjoyed. She is deep and very close mouthed. I hope we see her again too!

There can't be a book about Jayne and Tripp without Jayne brr called upon to solve some crime or other. At least this one was solved quickly thereby allowing Jayne to enjoy 8 1/2 days of their holiday in Maui, courtesy of their dear friend River. Happy reading. Annemarie

Interesting and mysterious new character
This novella serves as an introduction to another series. It did a great job piquing my interest and I will be checking that series out.
There’s not much connection to Whispering Pines though we do get some more intriguing nuggets about the mysterious River Carr.

Clever and Fast!
Short mystery with Jayne and Tripp vacationing on Maui, staying in River’s condo. Jayne helps neighbor find a stolen bracelet. It introduces a character from a new series who does MMA as a sideline.

Love this series.
What a perfect little story.

Jane at her best!
As always, Jane gets the job done with the help of her little Meeka. Shawn never disappoints with her stories and this one is sure to please. Sandy beaches and palm trees!

it was good
The only problem with short mysteries, is they are too short. Just when you start to get interested in the characters the story comes to a close. Otherwise this was good and would have been great to finish out yuki’s story.

Just...ok?
Kinda felt like this was a read that I could have missed. Not enough details inbetween the crime and finding the "bad guy" so it seemed a little flat.

Jane can't seem to escape crime when she goes on vacation with her boyfriend and his aunt and uncle. How can she say no to someone who needs her help? Well-written and interesting. It had my attention the entire time reading it.
