This is a fun story about a mouse who got into the house! It's short, sweet and has great pictures. I could easily see this being a fun, bedtime story for your little ones. It's whimsical and fun, everything you want in a children's picture book.
The art is a weird, cartoon-y style thet stands out. It creeps me out a little, mostly due to the fur on the mouse (who knows why), but that's just my personal opinion. It seems to fit well with the story.
Three out of five stars.

You’re kids will love the fun rhyming story that follows a mouse through a barn yard and into a house. Great for teaching children the different sounds that animals make. The illustrations are beautiful and the book is very catchy! My kids already are asking to have it read to them again tonight. Cute book and highly recommended!

A short tale about a mouse getting in the house and being chased out by the cat. Simple text that rhymes. Illustrations are cartoon style but a bit creepy. The book falls flat for me as the concept is not original and wasn't cleanly presented.

Everything about this picture book is appealing to the senses. The font is large and easy to read and the illustrations are cute and charming.
Children receive a tour of the farm and the animals that live there. Each page is richly illustrated with one line of text that tells about that animal and the sound that animal makes. Readers learn the names of farm animals and how they communicate. At the same time, they follow the adventure of the little mouse who knows how to enter so many places, which the children also learn about.
I would recommend the book as a bedtime story or read aloud for children ages three though eight.

Thanks so very much Mr Kaplan for this delightful, funny, colorful and well illustrated book! My granddaughter and I enjoyed immensely and will reread again. She is leaving how to read at 6 years old and this book was a wonderful fit for her. I would recommend this book to any parents who would like their children to learn, laugh and enjoy books that cause them to want to read more. I’d recommend for sure
I read to my daughter every night and I was a sceptic because there weren’t any real life pages to flip and wondered how she’d like the animation and honestly it was just The same if not better ! I loved the animation and the study lines as age appropriate and funny ! I would highly recommend

Cute illustrations, but the way the text went from semi-realistic farm animal descriptions (with admittedly goofy ideas about how the mouse could have gotten in) to an animal party complete with cake at the end threw me a little. But kids probably wouldn't mind. ;)

What a fun read aloud
My little boy read this to me and laughed and laughed. He loved the colorful illustrations. He loved the exclamations marks that let him really use good expression while reading it out loud to me.

She likes the colorful pictures. She thought the mouse came in through the hole. She liked that every animal had cake at the end.

Very, very cute and beautifully illustrated book. I like the rhyming way it's written, introducing children to all types of animals and sounds. They will love the sounds that the animals make and will want to read it over and over again.
