Mel was trying to protect her son from the life she and the boys father had and when Curt went to prison for killing someone she kept their son a secret tears later when the serial killer came after them it was time for Kurt to protect his whole family. The ending is shocking. I can't wait for the next book
He pulls the strings in prison or getting out, to control and kill others. A chance to kill him, saying she had it under control so didn’t. A lot of happening with an unusual ending.
