Linzi Baxter hails from Bismarck, North Dakota, but currently lives in Orlando, Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Central Florida and is currently in the process of earning her MBA from the same university.
Baxter works as an IT Manager for the local government and spends her free time playing with her basset hound, watching college sports, traveling to Europe’s great cities, and reading romance. It was that last passion that inspired her to write her debut novella, Hacker Exposed.
Well this boxset was amazing. You have a great plot for each story, plenty of danger, kidnappings, steam and an amazing kid call Ant. Sophia and Kat are amazing women in their own rights. That had been separated when their parents were murdered. Sophia had been hiding secrets from those around her, but when she's arrested by the CIA the agent who arrested her per his directors request learns things he didn't know. Kat is an assassin or she was. She's a hoot. But the director is trying to reign her in, expecially when she finds out he's been lying to her. My heart went out to Daisy, how she survived as long as she did is a miracle. When she is finally rescued she tries to turn her life around, but she's been captive for 15 years, so she's having a really hard time. But what I like is a happy ending.
These are books 4-6 in the White Hat Series. You don’t necessarily need to read 1-3 but I would recommend you do. Book 4 had me totally immersed in the first chapter and from there it was a page turning read until the end of book 6. I wasn’t sure about the premise of book 6 being a 3 way love relationship but suprisingly it worked and it was good to see inside Daisy’s head. This series is fast paced and you jump from one disaster to the next. I like the fact there is limited descriptive text because I always find myself jumping paragraphs of waffle in other books. Linzi always gets straight to it and it’s always entertaining.
Linzi Baxter has the gift of making a story and characters come alive. The four stars are because she has a jarring habit of changing things from one chapter to another, and definitely from book to book. If she can eliminate this it would certainly improve the books.
Good stories. Love these security hackers! I think so far my favorite story is Hacker Christmas. Daisy is so strong and I love Neal and Aaron. All the stories are good though!
Enjoyable and exciting box set featuring three separate couples. Each story can be read as a standalone but there is an overarching and interweaving story thread running through the entire series. Interesting characters.
I wasn't sure books 4-6 could be as good as 1-3 but i was wrong, they are just as funny, action packed and sexy you don't get chance to be bored .. moving on to book 7 without delay.
Love this boxed set, each story has an entirely different style of novel with characters that will draw you in and keep you enthralled.SO happy to find this author and her White Hat series
