Life was supposed to get easier, once Arlanna broke out of prison.
On top of figuring out how to house, clothe and feed five hundred escaped convicts, Arlanna must now find a way to barter for their freedom. There are some concessions she’s willing to give the king in exchange for their records to be expunged, but the one thing she’s withholding is the only thing the king demands.
Living with Paxton and Gray was supposed to be a dream come true, but when the world aims their critical stares at the three, Arlanna isn’t sure if they’ll want to continue on by her side.
The ancient magic coming back into play has its challenges, but when the king and the infamous Conan Valentine get their hands on more power than they should have, the delicate balance of the world starts to spin out of control. Arlanna knows that if she doesn’t intervene, it won’t just be her household on the brink of collapse…

After reading the other books in the series I really expected more from this final book. The plot and characters are engaging but this book fell flat. Sure it tied up the main story but the characters seemed to lose development. I mean you have one who is having an identity crisis but you really don't get to understand why and what is going on in his head and heart. As an alpha he follows his best friend and their lover without much convincing. And the other two girls who were so integral to the first two books became more like passing thoughts.
Truly this story started strong in book one. Book two helped keep the unique storyline fresh but honestly by the end of book three i was glad the book was over.

I enjoyed the ending of this trilogy, but couldn't help but feel the ending was a bit rushed. I think this series easily could've been 5 books instead of 3 which is a testament to how great the world and characters are.

Family is who you choose. Own your voice. It is not enough to stand back in the face of injustice when you have the ability to stand up and make a difference. These messages echo loudly throughout the Sinfully Sacrificed series, and come to a crescendo in this powerful, emotionally laden conclusion to the series. Arlanna has been used and abused most of her life, prized for what she can do for other people. Deeply scarred yes, but never broken. Able to stand strong and fight for what she believes in because she knows there is always someone who has her back. Even the bit of interpersonal conflict is handled incredibly respectfully.
Book 1 introduced the prison system and the institutionalized injustice, Book 2 revealed the personal agendas driving it. In Book 3 the characters have broken out and are back in the world, but no longer have a place in that world. This book touches on the issues facing the fae and shifter communities, and mentions the awakening magic, but primarily drives even further inward, focusing closely on Arlanna, Gray, Paxton, and Sloan and their conflict with the King and the Mob Boss. Very fast paced, action filled read. Cassia and Charlotte seemed an after though in this book and they were missed as they were such an integral part of the previous books.
This is book 3 in a trilogy that should be read in order. It is a #whychoose that stays pretty clean. Lots of cuddling and a bit of snogging but nothing explicit. As with the previous two books, there are some pretty dark themes and violence but no gratuitous gore. A book that packs an emotional punch to send a message about topics the author seems passionate about.
"She’s generous because that’s who she is, and everyone loves her for it. She went from the reason the world was broken to becoming their saving grace." -Paxton
Atlanta and her band of innocents are free... Free of Prigham's and the cruel guards and oblivious warden. But they will never truly be free until "The Sins of the Father" law is overturned...
"I will not let Prigham’s change me into something I was never meant to become. I am too beautiful to be bitter. I’m too purpose-driven to be haunted by the flaws of the past." - Arlanna
Atlanta has a plan; a plan to make the world listen... To SEE the wrongness of the law that punishes the innocents for the sins of the guilty. But she is fighting on another front; battling to keep her loves safe... And when Sloan is taken as a guarantee of her blind obedience, the world is stunned at her response..
"The world might never understand my actions, but in this moment of moments, I know the path I need to go down. I also know there will be no coming back from this." - Arlanna
This is the most intense, complex, complicated book of the trilogy. The multiple plot threads, the dangerous and twisted love that her father has for her; the machinations of others, all trying to bend Arlanna to their will... The old magics are awakening... And no one is safe...
An incredible paranormal dystopian book 3 in a great series that keeps you turning pages and grabs you from the get-go! With Arlanna, Paxton, Gray, Sloane, the clairvoyant Cassia and Charlotte, along with the other prisoners escaped out of Prigham's prison and staying on a piece of land owned by Arlanna, we see how the group has come together to form a sort of communal living arrangement. Fighting against the laws set by the king, why they were incarcerated in the first place called the sins of the fathers where the children are sacrificed so the fathers remain free, as well as other social issues. The king and Conan Valentine, Arlanna's father have amassed a lot of magic which would destroy the world as the group know it and it is up to Arlanna to stop it. With so many twists and turns and action scenes you are taken to a surprise ending that you didn't exactly expect. I really got hooked on this series. I love the snarkiness and strength of Arlanna! I received and ARC from the author but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
This is the final book in this three-book trilogy. If you don't read them in order, you won't get the full impact of the storyline or understand what's going on in the subsequent books. No spoilers in my reviews, here's what you need to know: As you read from the beginning, you come to know the characters and live their circumstances with them. This book does a good job tying up loose ends and bringing closure to everything we've learned and lived with the characters through the years. Action-packed as these fae and shifters break out of prison (in more ways than physical) and deal with the outside world and the mob. Multiple storylines keep you engaged and page-turning in this dystopian trope which has a bit of (clean) romance as well. If anything even close to this is among the type of stories you love, you'll undoubtedly enjoy this series. The author does a nice job giving us what a reader craves in a well-told story in this genre.
Bloody brilliant. I have not felt so good after reading a book in a long time. The positive affirmations given throughout this whole series struck me deep. Twomey did a fantastic job of delivering meaningful and impactful situations and truths that had me very teary at times. A paranormal romance, yet it was easy to see how everyone needs this. Everyone needs a voice. I absolutely loved how empowered I felt as a reader after finishing the series.
Top take-away from this series, apart from the previously mentioned things…these main characters were all good people. Our fmc was worthwhile. Her men were good men. For once, the good guy(s) got the girl! I was 100% on board with everything that went on here, and to top it off, it was a slow burn, slow build, and by the time we got to smexy parts, it was watered down, so we know they got it on, but it wasn’t explicit or graphic at all. Loved it. Loved it all. Thank you Twomey.
Freedom is not all it is cracked up to be with the old powers still in place. Guess there is a little more work to be done to right the real wrongs
This is book three of the series and the conclusion. I do not recommend starting here.
This is a paranormal romance with a dystopian setting. The story is well written and easy to read, but comes with a rather complex plot that is full of twists, turns and revelations. The characters are well done with unique personalities and quirks, both good and bad. I was drawn in early and had a hard time putting it down as we pressed forward to the climax. The book did a good job of wrapping up the loose ends, which is always a good thing. Overall, a very enjoyable read and an excellent conclusion to the series.
Highly recommended.

Arlanna, Paxton and Gray have escaped the prison, where they were paying for their parent's crimes, but that is not the end of their challenges. Arlanna is working herself hard, seeing she is the giving woman she is, she feels the need to make sure those who escaped with her don't go without. Paxton wants to keep them together, but Gray seems to be pulling away, and Arlanna is overworked. Can he help them stay together? Paxton's and Arlanna's fathers are not done with causing problems either, Can they survive their fathers plans? Or will it cost them too much this time? I loved this series, and how things happen in this book, not everything was smooth sailing for this group.

I can't tell you how long I've waited for this book to come out! Every novel in this series just got better and better. Good twists and turns along the way. The Sins of Mine did not disappoint!! I really wish we could of gotten more chapters of Grey but other than that it was a spectacular ending! I learned more and more of the early years of Paxton and Arlanna. I hope that he can finally tell her about the wonderful stories in the attic. I was thrilled to read that the heirs had a voice and they wanted to make it heard. They all feel like they finally have a pack! Hopefully there will be a book on nurse Jen...??!! One can hope!!

Arlanna may be free but her troubles are far from over and the King and Arlanna's father are still a very real threat and they have amassed enough power to make them a very real and very dangerous threat. Arlanna, Paxton and Gray are together but things are far from easy and it is unclear whether their bond will be enough to see them through.
This series is outstanding and Sins of Mine is a fantastic addition that will keep you glued to the pages with your heart in your mouth. I simply loved the arc the plot took in this book. There are more twists and turns, intense emotion and drama and you just wonder how a society can exist where the innocent get punished for the sins of the guilty.

What a way to end a great series! With Arly and the group trying to figure out how live outside of prison, things become even more complicated. The selfless heroine has to find more permanent shelter for the group, keep her father away from magic, stop the king from ruining the country, and figure out how to help Gray adjust to life without a pack. The only problem is, Arly is so busy helping everyone else that she is running herself ragged. Just when you think things are going smoothly for the group, someone throws a kink in the plan. Nothing is as it seems.

This is book 3 of the Sinfully Sacrificed series I loved it and this is the continuation of Arlanna’s story. Arlanna has left the prison with all of the innocent people but things aren’t as easy as it seems when one of her lovers Sloan is taken. Arlanna wants to stop the sins of the fathers law it’s where innocent people get put into prison for the criminal acts of their parents a law the king put in place. Wow what an amazing ending I was looking forward to reading this story and it definitely didn’t disappoint but now this series is over 😭 but I will be re- reading this series again and I definitely recommend this book/ series.
This is an excellent ending to the series. Everything comes to a head and wrongs are made right, just not in the way expected. King Regis and Conan Valentine are power hungry and enough is never enough for the two of them as they fight over who will control Arlanna’s power. They both forget how much Paxton, Gray and Sloan love her. I could not put the book down had to know what was going to happen next. I would recommend this book and series to all.

I missed the book "Sin's of the Mother" which I'll add to my library. This series was very good. The social structures were addressed so the people got to think about the inequalities between the races and the use of free labor. Everything comes to a head in this story and the wrongs get made right. Loved the characters, their developments, suspense and I felt like I was in the story. The story was interesting, exciting, intriguing and all around amazing. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoyed this series. I particularly liked the social issues that were addressed. It's a great way to get people to think about things like the inequalities between races, the use of cheap nearly "free" labor, and as Twomey says in the afterward, mass incarceration. As usual, great character development, good suspense, and Twomey wrote in a way that I felt like I was there. Can't wait for the next book by her!
I’m very happy with how this series ended. Nothing to sugary sweet to be real but a HEA still the same. Lots of action and drama surrounded the main characters but all worked out realistically in the end. Change doesn’t happen over night and prejudice isn’t overcome by desire alone, but hope for the future happens with every step taken the right direction. Excellent job.

This last book wraps up all that has been happening for Arlanna, Paxton and Grey although I would like another book to continue their journey in life. There are twists, people you thought you could trust betray that trust, people die, some are injured and some fight their own demons. Lots happening. Think the intertwining of social issues of today is well done.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.

An amazing ending to the series, that wraps up nicely the storyline. Having broken out of prison, Arlanna and her gang have now to learn to live as free people. But there are loose ends that need to be addressed, and that's exactly what Arlanna is planning to do.
Intense, with plenty and unexpected of plot twists, the story kept me rooted to my seat. If you've read the previous books, then you'll definitely need to read this!
Arly girl will make their dream of freedom a reality. Together they can free themselves from the corrupt government policy of the children paying for the criminal and political mistakes of their fathers No matter how she needs to work it, her, Paxton, Grey, Charlotte, Cassia, and Sloan will be together. If everyone can help her, and work together, it might get done in her lifetime. The characters are full of life, the story fun, and enticing. I luv these characters, and this series!
Strap in for the nail biting conclusion to the Sinfully Sacrificed series! Just like book 1 and 2, there were so many twists and turns in Sins of Mine that I was furiously flipping through the pages. Arlanna is once again called to action when the survival of those that have escaped are hanging in the balance. It is up to her and her friends to keep everyone safe in a world that would rather see them punished for others mistakes. Dive right into Sins of Mine today!
This was a really good book. I think it was better than the first one in the series. I loved the characters. They have grown and changed over time. There are a lot of challenges in this book. I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

I couldn't put my kindle down. Read the first and became engrossed in Mary Twomey's world. Had the next book downloaded as soon as I finished the first. Another great installment! Then the finale. Wow! A beautifully crafted tale. Very few editing misses. Loved them all.
This was a great book with interesting characters and an engaging plot. I really enjoyed the book and the choices and sacrifices that had to be made. How far is one willing to go for freedom. I loved it and would recommend it to others!

Not sure why the fae elements was ever brought to this series… it was absolutely unnecessary and rarely factored into the story. If anything it took me out of the story as I kept expecting more of the magic/fae element to come into play. This last book left quit a few plot lines unfulfilled and a few characters got left behind.
