Hi, so excited about being on Goodreads and sharing my Middle School books with you! I live in beautiful Noosa, in Australia. For most of my life I was a teacher of Middle School kids, and what an awesome experience that was. It gave me the opportunity to understand the problems that kids go through.
My writing partners are Kaz and Bill Campbell, they were also Middle School Teachers.
We hope you enjoy our books as much as we love writing them for you!!!

There seems to be a lot of personal growth on the part of some of the group. There is a rather upsetting section where Harper's mother comes to the school and what she says to Harper is not at all what you would expect a caring mother to say. The girls do guided meditations and this seems to help them.

Zali is in a very delicate position. The question is just how deep with the girls dig to find out what her secret is and will they help her when some overzealous punk photographer is sticking his nose where it should not be.

There's also a romantic sort of triangle to get settled. The strength of these books lies in looking at the girls as real people, young but still with some pretty major things they have to deal with personally, not counting having to keep up on their studies. Sometimes people are nasty to others because they themselves have not been treated decently, or, possibly, they are just totally overwhelmed by all the things they have to deal with at their age.

Decent realistic stories with meaning.
