Kindle needs to vet their unlimited content more carefully.
I've had my Amazon Fire HD Tablet for years and have honestly put it down Numerous Times because I couldn't get the app's I wanted on it because Google would never show my tablet ax an available device. Now I've downloaded Google Play to my tablet and No More Problems. Thank You😁
A how to guide on Installing Google Play on my Kindle Fire? Yea please!!! I will not lie, I am what should be known as a technology dummy. It's people like me that make these books a necessity. What is even better is this one was so extremely simple to follow I impressed my self that I was able to installnot only a working Google Play store on my Kindle Fire, but a functioning one once I tapped it to update! I was nervous until I reached the chapter on Downloading Google Play Store APK files. I clicked the link provided inside the book and download all four (4) APK files needed as instructed. Right after that, followed the chapter on Install APK Files. I followed the instructions and download the file from my documents downloads inside my kindle according to the correct order. According to author Alex G. Rasiwas, "You don't need to be a tech genius or do rooting or any other method just follow this simple step and you are done. I couldn't have said it better when it comes to this book.
I hate to be negative but this will be an exception. I dutifully followed the links to download the required files but never got to step 2. The first link went to a site that had copious ads for applications I didn't recognize and finally realized when I had put my credit card in. (I called to cancel and that went ok . I still haven't gotten google play going. My fire tablet is an older Fire HDX. 3rd generation.
Downloading certain games through Amazon's app store will lead to errors and incompatibility issues. One such game is Clash of Clans. Downloading the Google Play Store requires you to download and install 4 APK files in a very specific order. With this E-book, the app download is easy, quick and foolproof. This info is out there on the internet for free too, but getting it directly from Amazon for free is a lot more trustworthy. Kudos to Amazon for facilitating this download for its Prime members.
I had previously done my own research when I first got my Fire, and I was able to get the Playstore up and running by doing exactly what this book describes. I think it's really cool thing to be able to do something like this. The instructions in this book are complete, clear, and correct. It really does work.
Pretty straight forward on this one. A simple step-by-step guide on how to install Google Play on a Kindle Fire. A few grammar and spelling issues here and there, but not unreadable.
Followed directions ,but when I paid APK Mirror I was not allowed access .I agreed to pay and supplied my information twice but no downloads could be made.
This was probably the most succinctly articulated set of instructions I have ever seen. Concerning ANYTHING. Obviously Fire tablets should have the Google Play store installed and having to do an .apk work around is....silly. Thank you though Mr. Author.
This did not work at all. Be careful. There are many links on these pages to make purchases. I ended up downloading Aptoide and then I was able to immediately download Nook to my Fire 7.
It covers the basics on how to get Google play on your fire tablet, however, I don't feel like it really explains enough. For instance I would hope to learn about some troubleshooting tips in case I come across some errors while attending to download everything. I feel it would be more helpful to also include screenshots so we all know exactly what we will be looking for. Other than that it's an okay book and it's not too hard to figure out what your looking for but not everyone is tech savvy and could find this book not very helpful.
