First off I had a very hard time concentrating while reading this because the descriptions between dialog was more rambling than actual context. The dialog was very choppy and read more like a script and less like a novel. Lastly, Sophia is a virgin. That's fine. But Nate literally eats her out and suddenly she's not a virgin because she climaxed? No. That's not how that works.
Overall this was very poorly written and there are flaws with the actual story I just cannot ignore. I was hoping to be able to just read a quick instalove before bed but ended up completely disappointed. I hate to say it but I feel like I just wasted an hour reading this. (luckily I read it through Kindle Unlimited so I didn't lose money)
Party Boy billionaire’s grandfather suffers another heart attack. This time while discussing your escapades. You see Carl’s grandparents raised him since he was five. But, since he turned twenty-one all he has wanted to do is live large, party, have as many women as he wants & drink as much too. Well, his grandparents are over it. Either he straightens up and finds a nice girl to settle down with or he is out of their will. Which will leave billions of dollars in the air. Well, while he is doing his job interviews he meets a new hire that just infatuated him. To the point where Kitty was on his mind the next day too. So, he had a plan to get what he wanted. A fake fiancé and for some reason for which he cannot figure out she had already stirred something in him. He would appeal to her need to help her dad with his medical care and his need to keep his inheritance. It was a short and sweet story of a young man who was fighting being being ready to take the reigns of his family’s corporation. When he meets Kitty I believe he sees the qualities of his own mother in her. Her family values are what gets him thinking when they meet. I love how you get to se Carl’s transformation come about once he meets Kitty. She finds the passion she never felt with her ex she does with Carl. I give this: 5 stars
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the first book in the For Sake of Love series. In this book, Carl is a businessman who rarely sees his grandparents who raised him. He is a workaholic and a playboy. Carl never wants to settle down or get married. When his grandfather has a heart attack, he threatens to cut Carl off unless he grows up. So Carl asks Kitty to pretend to be his girlfriend. Kitty was just hired as his personal assistant and agrees to the farce for $250,000. The more time Carl spends with Kitty, the more he wants her to be his real girlfriend. i liked this book, i liked how Carl realized early on he wanted to be with Kitty for real. I think Kitty wanted the money for good reasons, and knew she could do good for others with it. Good one.
Carl is/ was an entitled msn-whore until reality smacked him in the face. His grandparents mean the world to him. He has decided to do something rash to make them happy. Kitty is from a struggling family who she loves immensely. She trying to help them financially but she is barely making ends meet. What she's desperately seeking us a job with a decent salary. Well, Carl is interviewing and he gets an idea that Kitty can help him with. This could be a win-win for them both. I have left out details that you must read to get the full picture. A very good novella with an complete conclusion. I received this book free as an ARC from the author for my honest review.
A fast paced quick read. I really enjoyed this book, my only complaint is that it is too short! Kitty and Carl’s relationship was interesting and intense from the beginning. I did feel that the story needed a bit more detail and more content to keep it believable but I was able to keep up with the pace of the book and I needed to keep reading. Would recommend if you want a quick read. I received an ARC copy from the author to exchange an honest review of mine.
This is a short novel. Easy to read. The story is about 2 people from different worlds that made an arrangement of a fake engagement. Carl is a billionaire, heir of the Miss family. Kitty needs money to pay her debts and help for her dad’s treatment. Carl needs a fiancée, she needs money. What they never expected was that during the process, the flame of love would ignite. Really easy reading with a happily ever after end.
The writing style feels amateurish and stilted with constant repetition. The character development is okay, but nothing that makes you feel like you know the characters personally. The plot is thin with lots of jumps in time when you feel something could have or should have been happening. My overall impression-meh!
An Agreement To Love - This is the first book I have read from this author and I enjoyed reading the story. However, I felt like the story needed a bit more depth and strengthening for me to give it a five star rating. I look forward to reading more books from Valentina Turner.
This the first time that I read a book by this author and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. it’s a short sweet romance book. Sophia worked in a party supply store and Nate Turner walked in to buy supplies for his mothers birthday party. They start talking and the chemistry is there while she is doing his purchases and then she called into the back. Nate over hears the celebration in the back and assumed that Sophia is celebrating her birthday and that he is crushing on someone that he assumes18 years old. They meet up again at a night club and the truth comes out the misunderstanding at the shop and things move along from there. The characters are lovely and well written and you will easily fall in love them while reading this book. I can’t wait to read the other books in the series from this author.
I received an advanced reader copy from the author and I am giving my review voluntarily.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the For Sake of Love series. In this book, Sophia is a 23 year old virgin who works at a party event store while finishing college. When Nate comes in to pick up his order, he flirts with Sophia until he overhears it is her 18th birthday, Nate then feels ashamed of himself and leaves in anger. Nate mistook Sophia for another employee with the same name. Later when Sophia was out at a club with her friends celebrating her graduation from college, Nate happens to be there and tells the man dancing with her she is underage. Nate then drags Sophia out of the club in anger. Sophia learns if Nate's mistake and laughs at him. I thought this was a cute love story. Nate was a good guy and thought he was doing the right thing. Sophia thought Nate was adorable with how he tried to make it up to her. I think they made a great couple. Another good one.

This was a cute short story. Nate and Sophia had great chemistry from the start. I loved the way their relationship evolved. Worth the read if you are looking for a short and sweet romance book
False Illusion Valentina has a way of writing that makes the characters come alive! This was a sweet book, and I can't wait to read more. Received this ARC and am leaving an honest review.
Sometimes you want a sweet romance and this book fits that bill. Sophia works at a party supply company whilst finishing college. Nate come in and is smitten with her, but runs away when he thinks she is just 18. They meet again on a night out and he rescues her, like a knight in shining armour. A wonderful book that is well worth a read.
