Loved the friendship that Meekah and Julian had. The chemistry between them was hot, and I loved the bits and pieces of conversation between these two throughout the book. Meekah's friend Kasheera is the homegirl everyone deserves--adored her! But I feel a bit cheated. We only got peeks and glimpses of their relationship once it went beyond friendship. Meekah spent more than half the book going back and forth with Brandon. She'd question whether it was real, was uncomfortable with his smothering and weird behaviors, but kept wanting to give him a chance. Julian was waiting for Meekah, but I wished he would have stepped to her sooner, and laid it all out. Everytime Meekah wanted to talk to Brandon and give him a chance, I rolled my eyes so hard! Nobody wanted to keep hearing about funky, crazy Brandon!🙄🤣🤣
Yassss Julian! Meekah drove me insane it’s like her stranger danger was off but thankfully she realized that she was looking for love in the wrong place and Julian was there to snatch her up. Did I mention how much I love Julian and I thought the skittles name was so cute. I can’t wait to read part 2.
There's nothing I would have changed in this story. I loved they were friends first and had experienced each others downfalls in their past relationships.
Once they could actually see they would rather have each other, it changed for the better. I love romance.
It was a good read. Loved the story no drama. Do not underestimate the relationship of friendship. You never know what could be hiding in the background!
