I actually did enjoy this book which is why I’m upset that I have to rate it 3 stars. I do agree as I’ve said before that a book from the authors perspective is good and I agree with it. However, this book felt like it was geared towards woman and woman only, as if men aren’t allowed to feel the same way which is a shame because a lot was relatable to me personally. It made me feel as if one or a few bad experiences with men kind of categorized them all in one way for the author. I could be completely wrong, but this is how i felt and how i seen it. I believe self book/growth books should be geared toward everyone, men & woman alike, or whatever it is you identify as you should feel welcome and open to the experience and knowledge as well. I felt more like an outsider trying to fit in and be seen as if “hey guys i’ve experienced this too” rather than welcomed for whatever past issues i may have had that i needed help with, help that was sought out for in reading this book.
