Vixen Williams has always been known as a woman of many faces. Life is fairly normal for Vixen until her verbally abusive mother reenters her life, dredging up traumatic childhood memories, and bringing a handsome stranger into the mix with her devious antics causing Vixen to reprise her role as caregiver and bread winner.
Gino Romano is infamous for many reasons: his notoriety for being one of the youngest king pins in New York City, the cold manner in which he handles business, and the notable political ties he's managed to create along the way through "profit sharing." However, the most prominent thing he's known for is the ice fortress he's built around his heart. Because of his past, Gino keeps women at an arms length, believing it hard to find one who could accept the scarred past he comes with. Until he lays eyes on Vixen.
Brought together for all the wrong reasons, Vixen and Gino find a common ground that not only develops into a budding friendship, but sparks a love affair. From the moment they become one they must fight to protect their love from those who plan to destroy it by any means necessary, one of which being the very reason Vixen ran away from home ten years ago in the dead of night.

Could have been better
I really started this boo with the expectations of it being something that I would thoroughly enjoy. While it wasn't bad I really think that it had the potential to be great. I liked the characters and the in depth glimpse that you gave us into the past of Vixen and Gino's lives. At times it felt like I was trudging through quicksand because of the slow speed of the events occurring in the book. Overall the character development, and the story line itself was done extremely well. Would I read the sequel I think so because the author was able to peak my interest to the point that I have a vested interest in the outcome of Gino and Vixen's lives.

Two troubled souls
Gino is just what Vixen needs after being raised by her parents and betrayed by her boyfriend. Just as things start taking off here comes the drama and I'm ready for it!

Tears!
I’ve never read a love story more gentle and sensual while raw and uncut. The ability that these two have to love each other unconditionally is beautiful. I can’t wait to read the next one!

This story was traumatizing yet very entertaining. Vixen parents are some really disturbed people I truly hope vixen, Gino,and Kenya make it out of this .messed up situation.

A Brooklyn Love Affair Review
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. No child should ever suffer the way Vixen did at the hands of her parents; if you want to call them that. She turned her negative in to a post and people were still trying to bring her down. Her mother was a poor excuse for a human being. I'm glad she had myths support of her friend Kenya. That Devon was a sneaky little weasel. Tya Marie I want you to know that you didn't have to end the story like that. Please hurry with part 2 so that I can see what happens next.

Wow I definitely wasn't expecting that.Poor Vixen she went thru a lot as a child and an adult.I can't believe her parents if you can even call them that did that to her.Then poor Gino went thru troubles too I can't even wish that on my worst enemy.Now Louis I hope someone gets his as next book he deserves whatever happens to him.Then Trey was trifling as hell and his family I can't stand at all.I can't believe that ending that's crazy I can't wait for part two I knew Devon was off

I Downloaded it as soon as it went live on Amazon and I can say I'm glad I did. This book had me hooked from the beginning to the end... Vixen had a rough life growing up and finally got the courage to be better. Gino was very loving I liked him a lot can't wait to read more

Vixen and Gino
Vixen and Gino went through a lot separately as well as together. Lots of trials and tribulations and forces were working against them, but that just made them stronger and more determined to make it thru. This was a very good storyline and t kept my interest throughout the entire book. Part 2 should be even better.

Vixen sure did have it hard growing up. Now everybody wants her dead. If I was her as much as her mother put her through I would of let Gino take her out of her misery.
