Okay read.

I didn't gain any new information on the characters honestly, Nothing that would have made me gasp. I think the only shocking thing was the brother.

At first I thought that baby Shania had some magical powers because she was chilling in high chairs and ish at 1 month. And only because it slightly pushed at my nerves.. They do have a 4-1 high chair for infants that grows as they grow so I am going to go with she was reference that high chair. Anything other then that theory would give me a headache.

So for me honestly it was a 2.5 to 3. Usually when there is a part 3 you gain more information than in the previous book. But for me nothing new was gained and I probably could have just ended with book 3 and the outcome of Levi was enough for me.

From the pole to the palace!!!

Great job Diamond Johnson. This was an emotional series. It was good without the drug lords side chicks baby mama from hell. Man Seth and Dreka took some losses and went through real trials but they survived. This was just an all around great love story series. Oh Yeah Dreka definitely we t from the pole to the palace with the King baby!!!!

A nice ending to crazy story. Sakeem 🥺🥺. Levi’s death was well deserved. Drekas father plot twist was crazy but his death was well deserved too. This was a crazy good story; I would recommend it for a quick series read.

With so many errors, it was impossible to rate it higher even though it was a good ending!

This was truly not needed. It could have stopped at a 2 book series and I truly do not understand y this author does that, because most of the series that I have read so far from her, it truly didn't need it to be such a long drawn out series. This was almost boring...and the errors were too much!
We know that they got their HEA but man Dreka, lucky you had Seth because if it was me, Amber would have gotten you, so this whole I am superwoman was really exaggerated, for real.
Jameeka and Levi, karma did you guys good, even though I thought Jameeka was going to get it worst. Unfortunately for Sakeem, I would have make him suffer and live with the consequences everyday of his life.
Finally, MS. Johnson, your grammatical errors, run on sentences, paragraphing words, changing up names and everything will be ventral make us stop entertain your stories and stop purchasing them, because it is truly too much to deal with h. Why can you have a better proofreader or editor???? This truly doesn't make sense... This is why I couldn't rate this better...

Great Read

This is truly a great series. Levi and Jameeka were like the blind leading the blind. The both of them were made for each other. They're equally dumb, selfish and pitiful. Levi blew it with what he did to Charisma. The sad part is that this fool didn't care. Jameeka was delusional and had to learn the hard way about Levi. Levi couldn't see passed his own greed. Tragedy struck for Dreka and Seth. Dreka soon realized how much of a monster Levi was and Seth knew he had to do something. While Dreka and Seth was going through it. Another tragedy struck close to home for Seth but in the end. These two stuck together and got through it. Dreka put herself in a situation she almost didn't walk away from. She learned a valuable lesson. Sometimes you have to leave well enough alone. Leave the past in the past.

Mistakes can be made but.......

I read all three parts of this book, and I like this author, I don't really bother about the small things that I read in a book and sometime it don't really take away from the story. I sorry there was one thing that bother me and here's my question when do a pedophile goes to heaven?

Found this book boring in comparison to the other 2. I almost wanted to skip some parts of it cos I got bored. Also who puts a baby that's a few weeks old or even 2 months in a high chair? But it was an ok read for what it was...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Re-Read)
5 STARS – ATE. DOWN. FROM START TO FINISH.

I’m reviewing this as a series because I did not stop. I didn’t pause. I didn’t breathe properly. I just kept turning pages straight through all three books.

And when I say this series was ENTERTAINING? I mean messy, dramatic, laugh-out-loud, “did he just say that?!” entertaining.

At its core, this is a story about a woman doing what she has to do to survive. Dreka wasn’t chasing fairy tales — she was raising her daughter and making it work the only way she knew how. Watching her evolution from survival mode to stepping into something bigger for herself? That was satisfying.

Now let’s talk about the DRAMA.

We had:
• A deadbeat father who said some of the most out-of-pocket things I’ve ever read.
• A bitter, cheating ex-wife with audacity.
• Secrets stacked on top of secrets.
• Fights.
• Betrayal.
• A body dropping.

And through ALL of that… the story never lost momentum.

Each installment built on the last. Book one set the tone. Book two turned the heat up and had me clutching my chest. And book three? Wrapped it up in a way that made me genuinely satisfied. I LOVE when a series sticks the landing, and this one did exactly that.

It made me laugh. It made me shake my head. It made me emotional. It made me keep reading.

And let’s not ignore the addictiveness. This was one of those “just one more chapter” situations that turned into finishing the entire series.

Total Series Experience: 10/10

Plot/Storyline: 10/10
Writing: 10/10
Characters: 10/10 (even the ones I wanted to fight)
Addictiveness: 10/10
Emotion: 10/10
Re-read value: Absolutely

This was a fun, dramatic, messy, satisfying ride from beginning to end.

Also — I wouldn’t be mad if certain side characters got their own stories 👀 because there’s definitely room for that universe to expand.

If you like romance with drama, secrets, chaotic energy, and growth — this series delivers.

From the pole… to the palace?

Yeah. We made it.

5 star series

I absolutely loved this series.. I love any book that Diamond Johnson has written. Seth and Diamond was definitely a great couple. I hate what her dad had done to her friend and other kids. And her mom ended up getting killed behind it. Poor Jameeka just messed up big time. Dreka went from the pole to palace. And was doing a awesome job at the Palace as wifey. Loved it!

Wow

This was a great series it's just so sad that a dad could be so hateful that he'd harm his child just to rob his girls ex. I guess in the end he realized robbing people wasn't worth. Jameeka she got what she deserved as well being alone and broke but guess you can keep a broke chick down cuz she still gonna try and find her someone who may support her rich habits. I am glad Charisma is okay and that Dreka was able to find her happy ending.

This series was very good. Levi and his attitude about children of his own is mind boggling. How do women get themselves involved with men like him? Seth is the King, and Derek’s is surely a Queen. She did what she had to do to ensure that her child had a stable life, but limits were attached to what she did. Great read from Diamond Johnson. This series made me laugh at Jameeka’s dumb self, cry for Charisma, and applaud Seth and Dreka.

Loyalty, love and family

Thus book was amazing because with all of Drekas struggles she made it. Seth was a man who loved his family and provided and respected them. He was delt a bad hand but he made the best of it and got his Queen too. Levi was a poor excuse and deserved everything he got. As always I love Diamonds books because I’m from Miami and I truly feel like I’m some of her characters, do go read this series because it was amazing

Great Read

Great story line. Levi got what he deserved. I wished Jameeka would have got what was due to her. I feel sorry for the baby. It was sad what happened to Sakeem. But all in all I'm glad there was a happy ending. Will there be story about Coco, Jacky and Marcel. I would love to hear about them.

Dreka & Seth

I know I’m late but this series was lit! I love a good rags to riches story and my girl Dreka definitely earned that trophy. She went from the Pole to the Palace and with a good man at that. I was happy with everyone’s ending. My heart hurt for Sakeem but he was hard headed and bound to hit a rock.

Awesome!!

This series was to die for!!! I loved every part of this book. Dreka is very hard headed but what woman isn’t. I’m glad she finally got the closure that she need with her long lost friend. I love how even through the toughest times Dreka and Seth still made it work out together. Seth is very protective over his family which is great.

I ain’t gone lie my eyes got watery when Charisma got shot by her own daddy. I’m so glad that she made it and so damn glad that Seth killed Levi ass.

Now Dreka daddy was a sick ass nigga. Amber was trying to get rid of the whole family line due to his nasty ass.

We def got a happy ending. Business doing great. Kids healthy and now they happily married💕

Great read minus the errors!!

I gave this book a 3 due to all the typos and grammatical errors. The storyline was great but I really got aggravated with the errors. It reminded me of why I stopped reading “hood” books.

Great

I really loved this series. Dreka and that Amber thing was messed up. To know how a childhood tragedy can mess up your family life is real. I love how they loved each other but surprised that he didn’t finish off Jamel’s selfish ass. Ms. Diamond good job!!!!!

Good read

The series was a good read and was not over the top with a unbelievable storyline. I was happy that it showed both sides of love good and bad. It had a little if everything from desperation, selfishness, tragedy and love.
