Nerve wracking harrowing mysteries in caves and an ocean liner

The stories in books 7- 9 had me on edge worrying about the characters and their well-being. I've become so invested in this series that the characters feel like they're part of my own family. Mixing accidents and murders with grand adventures, you just don't know who is going to survive. The suspense is breathtaking.
