TUNDRA is history's most successful self-syndicated newspaper comic strip and is seen in over 600 newspapers around the world. Slap on your hiking boots and pack your bear repellent, because TUNDRA is guiding you into the funny side of everyone's favorite carnivores. This collection will maul you with giggles! It may be against the rules to FEED the bears, but luckily it's not against the rules to READ the bears.
Chad Carpenter is an American cartoonist, best known for his comic panel Tundra. Carpenter launched the strip in the Anchorage Daily News in his home state of Alaska in 1991. Since then, he has self-syndicated it to over 330 newspapers, an unusually high amount for strips in self-syndication. -Wikipedia
I did laugh at a few... But I guess I am less into these single panel newspaper strips nowadays. Reading all of these at once feels a tad repetitive. Definitely representative of Alaska nonetheless.
