Not the most enlightening of books and does seem to be a compilation of self-help tricks around the circle. The author talks too much about habit building which is not what the title revolves around. Choppy sentences. The author cites Mayo Clinic on burnout; a cardinal sin. All in all, build habits and routines around your targeted identity and embrace the suck while striving to keep it all together. [2.5/5]

Kindle version. It should not have taken me so long to read but I was distracted by other books. Guess I need some self-discipline. 😄

This one lacks of focus, try to touch on way too many complex subjects in a couple of sentences (try to tacle intermitten fasting in a bit more than 2 pages? mate what?- useful tip: don't watch cooking shows while fasting. - I mean if this a joke, it is not even a good one. :) ). It is incoherent and lacks of depth. Also maybe it is just me but it contained very little new information. And the biggest let down for me is that you get close to zero info on Navy Seal or Spartan mindset (there is about six maybe
seven sentences on Spartans if I recall correctly, however I could not care less to count). So, is the description a blatant lie? Probably. Is it false advertisement? Absolutely! This is just a self help sort of book. There are way better books than this one on focus, grit or habbit building. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Full of tons of great insights. This book is well served as a companion to other nonfiction self-help books, as it is a compilation of lots of ideas, so it would be helpful to have the foundation set before diving in. I would say the greatest strength of this book is that the author does a great job presenting methods to develop and maintain habits, and does so in a unique way outside of the typical "repeat daily for 30 days" method.
