Quanna Lashae was born and raised in a small town in Virginia. She found a love of reading and writing at a early age. She wrote her first story at the age of 10, and read different books each week. After relocating to another state alone and starting life, and having her first child, she lost her way for reading and writing but still enjoyed it. After dealing with many of life's challenges, she began to write again to take away the stress. She wrote her first book The Power of Our Love, and submitted it to a major urban publishing company, whom she stayed under for a while and then found a permanent publishing home. She is working on more work each day and plans to be a voice for many of her readers, who go through life's obstacles. "When the voices speak, I put it on paper. I tell a story that hooks readers in, making them feel as if it's real. If a book doesnt get you stirred up, what's the use in writing it?" --Quanna Lashae.
Ohhhh hunni I love how Rumi bossed up like she did. Hasaan had me wanting to smack him how he was carrying on with that tramp Erika. I knew she had something to do with Rumi accident and Hasaan just welcome her back with open arms. I bet he almost pissed on himself when she walked in the party. I like how Kwame changed for the better and she should have beat the crap outta Rasheed. I'm glad she got with a real one like Tez. 💝💝
Great Read This was a great ending to a great series. After that ending of the last installment, secrets felt it wasn't ending like that. Was glad that everything worked differently. I was side-eyeing Hassan for a minute. I knew Erika trifling behind was up to no good and she got exactly what she deserved. I really liked how Tez stepped up to help Kwame and a relationship started. Rumi, was no joke never question her hood. Great job Quanna Lashae.
There's enough drama to keep you interested. It is not a hardcore hood story but still hood. I loved Rumi and Hassan together. They quietly fell in love when they had nothing but each other. Happy Erika got her due process.
