I treat her just like I treat every girl I wanna get with, but she’s not biting.
She’s nice, until something in her snaps and she flips out on me.
I never knew a woman could be so raw... I think I found my old lady.
Brooklyn:
I give him the benefit of the doubt, I know very well not all bikers are like the Saints.
But, he goes too far and I snap.
He just doesn’t know any better, I guess I’m gonna have to show him.
This is a stand-alone sweet and steamy short romance story, that is a part of the Savage Saints MC series. Motorcycle outlaws and the curvy girls who love them. If you love insta love stories with hot love scenes and a HEA, you won’t want to miss this one. No Cliffhangers. No Cheating. Safe.
The whole paranormal turn that was out of left field in #3... Well it didn't continue in this installment. It must have been a one-off, but the pandemic of 2020 did. Although that is strange as Crow was from the Sinner's and witnessed Ryder's paranormal event. Oh, and Snake has the perfect name as he is a snake in the grass.
Cringingly immature. The dialogue is so childish. These guys are not the strong silent type. They are very whinging, rambling juveniles. The writing is bad, very amateur, problems from page one, with the first sentence written in present tense, 'I walk into the.. ' then the next sentence in the past tense, 'I stumbled...'.
The so called author uses the word 'had' more than any other. Every sentence was - he had, I had, we had, it had, that had, they had, and on and on. Clearly this person, and I refuse to call them an author because they haven't even tried to write professionally, thinks writing in past tense requires the use of hundreds of superfluous 'hads' everywhere. Literally almost every sentence.
It's shockingly repetitive, Crow spoke to Ryder about what happened to get him kicked out of his club for dozens of pages, then Ryder goes and tells it all to Lord, making the reader re-read the entire thing all over again immediately after we just read it. Painfully boring.
Really badly written, with immature characters, immature dialogue, and immature and unprofessional writing ability. Zero stars. It's really not good. Amazon needs to start taking responsibilty to ensure someone publisheing a book actually has some ability to write, or at least Google searches the basic rules of writing, before allowing them to publish.
I mean, there are numerous apps that correct this stuff for you for free! So, there's no excuse for any one publishing a book to write this badly. I for one am getting seriously irritated by people calling themselves authors but who publish badly written rubbish like this.
Ok this is going to be hard. I like this author and I enjoy her work. I still highly recommend her work despite my low star rating. I just can’t stand dark/bully romance so this one was a bad fit for me from the start. Crow does change and become a better man, so for those that love bully romance this is perfect. I just wish I’d seen the warnings.
That story was hot and sweet. I loved how Brooklyn stood up to herself and for the women in the club. She really put Crow in his place and totally changed his life and his point of view. I really loved this story totally safe and hot as heck🔥🔥🔥
I received this story as a member in Autumn's ARC team.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fourth book in the Savage Saints MC series. In this book, Crow comes to the Savage Saints clubhouse looking fro ryder, his cousin. Crow was a member of a rival MC, but lost his cut because the president of that MC thought he was a snitch. Now Crow had nowhere to go and he felt lost. Ryder wanted Crow to join his MC, but his president didn't rust him, but allowed him to stay. Crow was confronted by Brooklyn about his treatment of the women around the club and made his apologize for yelling at them and treating them like dirt. Crow never learned how to treat a woman and thought they were there to serve him. Brooklyn made him reconsider his thoughts. Crow wanted Brooklyn, but he knew she would never want to be with him unless he changed. Brooklyn felt connected to Crow because of their similar upbringings and she wanted Crow to be better. I really liked this one. I liked Brooklyn, she was so strong and she cared for others, even Crow when no one else did. I liked this one the best yet in this series.
First things first; I like the cover of this book! Crow is book four in the ‘’Savage saints MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. After Crow is stripped of his colours and labelled a traitor he has nothing left. When he turns to his cousin for help will he finally find somewhere to call home and people to call family? The chemistry between Crow and Brooklyn is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked that Brooklyn helped Crow but also stood up to him. She called him when he was wrong. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
Crow is Ryder, from the Saints MC, cousin. He appears at the Saints club house, very drunk. He's been stripped of his colours by the Sinners. He's not a very nice man having been brought up badly, his attitude to women is atrocious and his language isn't much better. Brooklyn takes it upon herself to try and change him. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a stand alone that is part of a series The Savage MC’s. The characters are all well thought out and realistic. Crow started off like a loser by coming in drunk and insulting people. Brooklyn is a strong liberal woman who does not accept his disrespect. She stands up for herself and the other women and yet is not unbending. She realizes that he knows no better and sets out to teach him. Well written, no cliffhangers, a happy ending and a short novella. Overall a good novella.
"Crow treats Brooklyn just like he treats every girl he wants to get with, but she’s not biting." Enjoyed this. A little different. Even an old dog can learn new tricks. Loved Brooklyn's character, and personality. Enjoyed the ending.
I received a copy from the ARC group, and am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
I've read other books by Autumn but not from this series. You can read them as standalone or as the series. I really liked this one and how Brooklyn put Crow in his place immediately. It was awesome to read. I received a free arc copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Short, sweet and easy read. Crow never experienced anything good example of how to treat a woman respectfully but when the opportunity came for him to learn and change his ways he took it. It is said that children live what they learn but when you become an adult it is on you change negative behaviours the best you can. How will Brooklyn impact his decision to change? ARC reader. This is a voluntary review
I love how all the couples continue to be incorporated into each book. Crow was definitely cut from a different cloth, but finding his true path with The Saints and Brooklyn made him a better man/person. Babies are precious. Hope to read more on the next generation with the other couples having babies of their own!!! Happy writing.
I generally try to not say anything negative about a book. I will just not review, give a low ⭐️ rating and move on. This one I slept on and am still WTF.
I am sure there are man out there like Crow because...well that’s life. He is an massive Alphahole. I think there needs to be a trigger warning on this book. I liked this series but after this I am tapping out.
Love this series, it's short, with great characters and a really good story. This book was about Crow and what he has to overcome. He's disrespectful towards women, has a huge chip on his shoulder, however with the help of one woman packed full of dynamite, Brooke helps Crow to " see the light". Liked it a lot
Book 4, and I really enjoyed it. This is the story of Crow, who was once a member of the Savage Saints. Having left and joined the Twisted Sinners Crow is stripped of his colours and kicked out. What will he do. The mam hasvno respect, but Brooklyn will not stand for it. Has Crow met his match? Highly recommend
The author continues to pull us into the lives of the Savage Saints MC. When Crow comes into the Saints clubhouse drunk and belligerent, Brooklyn stands up to him and forces him to think about what type of man he wants to be.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Autumn hit a home run on this book. This is the best book I've read so far in this series. The stuff Crow and Brooklyn went through as kids and adults hits home.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I really enjoyed reading this story. There were formatting errors throughout the book and some grammar issues but overall a good read. I sat down and read it all in one sitting because the storyline flowed and kept me hooked. I’d definitely recommend.
Ok wow, Crow was not my favorite guy at all. He was an A hole… Good thing for him Brooklyn saw past that and took the time to teach him. Make him see a different perspective.. The epilogue was so cute…
This was a 3 point 5 for me. It’s not as good as the others but stilled enjoyed it hes learning to respect women as he was never showed but he meets a girl and a club that do it different
