Moscatelli Crime Family #2

Loved by the Mafia Underboss

Rate this book
Luca:
She’s late to her best friend’s wedding rehearsal. Of course, she’s late. I sigh in frustration, but Freya just grins at me, like she always does. It annoys me to no end that she’s not intimidated by me in the least. As the underboss of the Moscatelli family, I command the attention, respect, and often the fear of everyone around me. So why does Freya find me to be such a great source of entertainment? The fiery little redhead with curves for days is going to be the death of me, but something tells me she just might be worth it.

Freya:
He’s so serious all the time. And quiet. And broody. And boy does he find me infuriating. I love it. I’ve become quite the expert in how to annoy Luca. He doesn’t like it when I chew my gum loudly, or take my shoes off and run through the ridiculous mansion to find Darlene, or shout across the library, or blast Cardi B in my car as I drive away from the compound. In fact, he doesn’t seem to like it when I make any noise at all. Which only makes me want to be louder. When my past comes back to haunt me, can I really depend on the man I’ve spent so long tormenting to help? He seems awfully determined to prove he can take care of me. The crazy thing is, I might just let him.

LOVED BY THE MAFIA BOSS is everything you've come to expect from my books: Lots of sweet, plenty of heat, and just enough drama to keep things interesting. We met Freya & Luca in book one, now watch these two clash, spark, and set your kindle on fire! Don't say I didn't warn you ;) As always, this is a safe read, no cheating, and a guaranteed HEA!

We are back!! And I love the first book in Maifa Series now we got book 2!! We saw snip of them in book one. This one was fast pace and some steamy moments. They haven't beaten my power couple of Datteo!!! But so far Lureya were golden next to my OTP couple. Yes I gave these couples ship names lol so sue me.

Freya is that best friend that would be in the next seat in a jail cell as you laughing at the trouble both cause (we love that type of friend) she was fantastic in this book sassy, snarky has a huge heart and loves to annoy Luca who was broody and silent tall drink of water ;).
Freya did have some hidden secerts that she wanted keep on the down low. But that didn't stop Luca from protecting her and being there for her when stuff got out of control. Now Luca is sharing his house with 2 dogs and a cat who thinks he's a dog named Curly, Moe, Larry yes Freya named her new pets after the three stooges 🤣🤣🤣 and building a life with Freya was something new. Secerts are coming out and War is coming and Luca going to protect her with his last breath ❤❤.

We also got a little snip for the next couple. Let's see if Rocco can handle that princess ;)

I liked the first half, mainly because of Freya (21). I love her sass and how she can push Luca's (35) buttons. I also liked that he's grumpy, but for some reason he's different with Freya, although he keeps getting annoyed by her antics.

But then, starting at 75%, I think, Freya started to do some dumb things, and I can only face palm after reading the plot.

I hate miscommunication, but I think no communication is way worse. Freya's go-to move when things got going was running away. Though I get that the second one was because she thinks she's protecting the people she cares about, it was still annoying.

Had it not been for Luca's chasing, I don't think they'd even end up together. These two are products of difficult upbringings, and both thought they were broke, but they obviously faced their demons differently.

Anyway, I liked it and enjoyed most of it. I'm on a roll, so off to the next book.

Luca and Freya are perfect for each other. She is sassy and feisty and he is strong but vulnerable. Loved them together. Super sweet and steamy love story. Adorable epilogue with pregnant heroine and a marriage proposal. Totally safe. Virgin heroine, celibate hero, no cheating.

Can't wait for Rocco's story!

The secrets we keep

Freya takes Luca way out of his comfort zone. It takes a bit for Luca to admit how he feels. Freya is a free spirit who is not afraid to speak her mind. Freya does have a secret she has been keeping from everyone. Luca stands up for her and his love for her never waivers. HEA.

Loved Luca and Freya! I love how much she pushed his buttons and how he never backed down and was always steady in his devotion to her. One of the things I usually don't like about standalones in a series is that at some point the future books can get spoiled if the author isn't careful and that takes away from the journey. Cameron Hart does a really great job of avoiding that problem. I feel like even though we got glimpses of Luca and Freya in the first book and we know how the formula works so we know we're getting a HEA, we still get to go on the journey with them as they let their guards down and fall in love. Luca was so swoon worthy, he was so strong & steady in his commitment to Freya, and for those who are interested he was practically a virgin. Like, for real--he only had sex one time when he was 18. Freya was so... bruised. She had so many deep fears and emotional scars to confront, I understood why she pushed Lucas's buttons so much, especially in the beginning. She was also so strong and such a survivor, and a kick-ass bff.

Did not enjoy it as much as I anticipated the issue with another Mafia family is not fully resolved maybe it will continue in book 3.
Freya is so annoying and insecure that it is very difficult to like her.

Looking for a sexy, over the top, alpha male, curvaceous heroine romance read? Well look no further because Loved By The Mafia Underboss is all of those things and more. Luca and Freya are polar opposites who are actually more similar then they are different. Freya is beautifully complicated. There are layers to her that no one, not even her best friend, gets. Luca is ruthless and to the naked eye cold and heartless, except he’s really not. He’s just a little bit broken and when he encounters Freya, he starts to change for the better. The sexy mafia man and the rambunctious redhead are a match made in book loving heaven and watching them fall head over heels in love makes this a thoroughly enjoyable, sexy, read. TBR and Enjoy.

My Rating - 2.5/5

This book's about Freya and Luca. They were introduced in the first book Made for the Mafia Boss Anyway, Freya was Darlene's best friend and Luca was Matteo's second in command. Freya got on Luca's nerve from before they even met. Their attraction annoyed Luca and he tried to ignore it. But when he saw the vulnerability in her eyes, he knew he was in trouble as he would do anything to protect the girl. They were drawn to each other and finally gave in to their feelings. Then secrets got revealed and loyalties were questioned. But Luca knew he had to protect his girl no matter what as the war was coming. They got their own happiness.

First of all, whatever I was expecting, this book was not it. I loved the first book but can't say the same about this one. After reading the description, I was so excited. And Freya seemed like a real piece of work. Then the bubble burst. Because she was just a insecure and vulnerable girl hiding behind her badass attitude. Believe me, she's anything but a badass. And Luca, for some reason seemed robotic. I didn't feel the chemistry. And I was angry when the author portrayed Matteo as an asshole in this book. I was also expecting some couple time between Luca-Freya and Matteo-Darlene. But there wasn't a single moment saying the four of them actually had even a single conversation. Separately? Yeah. But four of them together? Nope. It annoyed me. There were so many unfinished business and so many missing pieces. The author should've warned about it in the description. So yeah, this one didn't quite meet my expectations. Sure, it was a safe read but not a great read!

“I get it. I still feel like I’m living in a fairy tale most days. Some mornings I wake up thinking it’s all a dream. Instead of asking myself what will happen if it all goes wrong, I started asking myself what will happen if everything goes right? Do I really want to throw away the best thing that has ever happened to me because I’m too scared to accept good things?”

Another great read! Awww cue the violins and all the sweet moments between these two. Freya shows off a tougher outer shell between her and Darlene(from the previous book) they were dealt a hard life but came out stronger for it. Poor Luca did not know what to do with Freya at first but he quickly figured it out, Lol. He loved her a whole lot and fiercely. Freya in turn showed him how to laugh and enjoy the best moments they had with each other. I think I loved this book more than Matteo's! Just an awesome read filled with scorching pages of sex scenes. Loved it. 4.5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟
It seems Rocco is about to be dealt a challenge of his own, Lol. On to the next book!

I love this book. It does mention the main characters from book 1 in the series “Made for the Mafia Boss” but it’s not necessary to read that book first – but it’s a great book so do it anyway! This book concentrates on Freya and Luca who are both perfect for each other. There are some twists and turns to the story and some steamy scenes. It’s a wonderful fun entertaining read.

ONE FAST PACED BLOCK BUSTER!!!
Game on! Cameron let the skeletons out of the closet with this heart pounding, pulse racing adrenaline pumping, page flipping dynamo, fusing this little jewel together piece by piece flawlessly. Coiled, bound and tightly woven, noting the explosive ups and agonizing downs, grounding in it's simplicity and awe inspiring in it's depth. Lines blur and boundaries crossed, limitations are stretched and bent, booting this baby into a tempest, kicking it into a frenzy with an life-changing realization. Anarchy runs rampant and havoc is rife, rousting the drama, intrigue, secrets, danger, spiraling suspense and intense situations along with a boatload of chaos, you have one jaw dropping adventure. Dynamics and countenance in layer upon layer that you peel back with each page your drawn into this web so deep until everything else ceases to exist. The raw magnetism, undeniable attraction and sizzling chemistry collides with such intensity, drawing you deeper until you feel the electrifying hum running rampant through your veins. The characters are authentic and genuine with depth and qualities that blend into amazing personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow smoothly. Remarkable job Cameron, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

I really liked this one.

I was excited to read Freya and Luca’s story. I knew there was more to why they both were the way they were and I’m glad we got to get into that. Not only did they act like they couldn’t be more fed up with one another, it all began to change after Darlene’s wedding. It was nice to see their walls come down; so when danger from the past gets brought up, we see just how strong their bond is.

can’t get enough

I seriously can’t get enough of this series. I’m reading the series back to back, which hasn’t been that hard because they are one sitting finishers. I love that the FMC are curvy girls!! These are mafia themed roms so definitely has those elements but on the lighter side. Like I said in my previous review more Lifetime then Hallmark. But don’t get me wrong Cameron has brought the heat. This one had more of enemies to friends to lovers feel which was fun. Also the first 2 books are age gaps but honestly you don’t even realize it. The FMCs are written with such a maturity that they seem to all be on the same age playing field ( the ladies are in their 20s) so no creepiness haha. What I also really loved about the first 2 books so far are the men are these powerful, alpha men but aren’t man sluts. Don’t get me wrong we all love a good playboy but Cameron stepped out side the box. She didn’t just follow the alpha womanizing playboy takes the naïve virgin mold. She put them on pretty even playing ground as far as their intimacy and it worked. I’m having a lot of fun with this series so far. If you’ve wanted to get into mafia romance but don’t feel quite ready for the darker ones this is a great starting point. As always check any TW. Everybody has different comfort levels so make sure you check and know where you stand. These books can definitely be read as stand alones but I’m enjoying the series. Either way dive in and enjoy the ride . Happy reading book besties💙

5 Scorching Stars ⭐️ 🔥⭐️🔥⭐️🔥

How many ways to describe I loved this book? It was heart wrenching, emotionally gripping and powerful, with lots of sticky good times that was made only more intense by the connection of the hero exploring touch with his woman and claiming her virginity for himself.

Luca is dark and stern, emotionally restrained. He doesn’t care for touch and has only been with one other woman (i would’ve preferred if he had been a virgin too, but we can’t have everything I guess) his lust and desire for her, his craving for her touch leaves him confused and vulnerable and it melted my heart to watch him that discover that.

Freya hides her vulnerability behind a mask of toughness but underneath she’s soft and sweet, even if her claws can come out and scratch. She’s running from a dark past and she doesn’t dare let Luca in, afraid that if he knew he would leave her.

Loved the hero’s inexperience, loved how he could bond and connect with his woman on a deeper level, loved that despite Freyas wildness and spitfire attitude, she was innocent and she knew when to let her man be a man instead of emasculating him. There’s no cheating, no ow/om drama, a beautiful and sweet epilogue and HEA

I’ve only read the second book in the series so I feel like I’m missing something. Although the author does give a good idea of filling you in. Freya is the best friend of Darlene who has also had a rough life. They are each other’s person until Darlene falls in love with the leader of a mob. Freya gets her own happy ever after although she doesn't quite know how to handle it at first. She has a ton of energy as opposed to Luca who is typically tall dark and brooding. After being annoyed at her quirks and not understanding his attraction to her he finally gives in to his feelings and boy do they sizzle. They even break her bed which I thought would’ve gotten more of a reaction but got nutn. I love this author although I usually prefer the “lighter” stories of hers like At First Sight.
*Spoiler* The two love birds get there happy ending although the story line of the mob will be continued. And more damsels will be distressed.

She melted the cold heart of the Mafia Underboss!
by sewsummore

It was just before Darlene and Matteo's wedding that Freya finally broke the wall that Luca had built around his heart. From being untouchable, Luca learned what it eas to crave a woman's touch, and only if that woman was Freya. They both had a problematic past, and both of them had lived on the streets, but together they healed each other. Secrets in Freya's past could cause anyone else to distrust her, but Luca knew her heart was pure, and it only belonged to him. This book was a quick mafia read with a happy ending. I loved Freya's quirky nature and how she melted the heart of the Mafia Underboss. I loved how Luca changed from a man that never smiles to one that was happy in mind and spirit.

With Darlene and Matteo together, Luca has had to deal with Freya more than he would like. He is the Underboss of the Moscatelli family and she should be intimidated but she isn't. She knows exactly how to push his buttons, but suddenly, he doesn't seem to mind as much.

This is the 2nd book in the series, and I have been waiting anxiously for this since reading Made For The Mafia Boss. In the first book, we got a glimpse of these two, so I couldn't wait to see their love blossom.

We once again get a well written/told story, with some steamy scenes. We also get some cute/humorous moments-example:(2 dogs and a cat, I mean 3 dogs named after the three stooges)😆😆🐕🐕🐈

While I enjoyed this story, for me, I don't think it delivered quite as good as book 1. Still, I would 💯 recommend this book, series, and author. Go check her out!

I've always known that I'll love Freya more than Darlene, the moment her sassy personality was mentioned in Book #1!

& Oh my yes, Luca! 😍😍😍

Okay, so in a way; both of them are like broken souls with bad childhood who thinks that they're both not worthy of love & happiness.

But when they click and connect, it was outta this world!

Even if Luca is only an Underboss compared to Matteo, I feel that he's hotter in a lot of ways.

I'm sorry but I'm gonna spoil a bit cos Luca's proposal to Freya is the sweetest and simplest underrated proposal ever! No fancy dinner, no extravagance, nothing. Just him, wearing his heart on his sleeves and the beautiful ring 😍😭😍😭😍😭😍 (swipe right to know what I mean.

I've been looking forward to this book for a while now just because I knew Freya was gonna be a badass, and the book did not disappoint. Luca and Freya were amazing, and you could just feel the chemistry they had. I loved how much he loved her, and it almost brought me to tears to see them apart for a few pages. I loved how Luca went a little crazy and went after her as soon as he knew where she was. I loved how although these two were imperfect, they were perfect for each other. I loved the fact that we were able to see characters from book 1 make an appearance. The best part is seeing these dangerous men go utterly crazy in love with the woman they know is their one. I cannot wait for more books from this author.

Moscatelli Crime Family Book 2
Mafia

*over 18 readers only*

Trigger warning
Foster care issues

Luca meets Freya through her best friend, Darlene. Darlene is marrying Matteo, Luca's boss. Luca is the underboss of the Moscatelli Crime Family. Freya pushes his buttons, but he lets her get away with it. He even lets her touch him when normally he can't stand physical contact. Freya has secrets on secrets, though. Will they come for her, or will they come for him?

I was so glad to see Luca and Freya. And their story was so good. And the animals were a cute addition. Looking forward to the princess story. I like how each can be a standalone, but you get to see the characters again in the next book.

This book put me through ALLLLLL the feels in the best way possible. I laughed, I cried, I awwed a thousand times and just genuinely loved this book. It was action packed and the sorry was so perfectly written never dragging on yet still giving enough time for character development. And what characters they were! Freya and Luca both came from rough childhoods and feel undeserving of love. When they both let down their defenses it is so beautiful and heart wrenching. Such a great book. I’ve really loved this series!

I was slightly put off by the cover.... slightly well dull. But the blurb caught my attention and the fact j already read book 1 in the series. Couldn't help but follow through to see what truly happens between Luca and freya. Between her outrageous loudness of both her voice and her image and her attitude and with kucas cold shoulders blunt do not touch me attitude. The pair make a great couple. Slightly like an instant love between them. As per alot of r rating scenes and boy are they steamy! And a little more into the back ground plot of the mafia. This book has lot more involvement with the mafia and the hostile nature too

Loved by the Mafia Underboss (Moscatelli Crime Family #2) by Cameron Hart Review ♡
4.5✨
3🌶

I really enjoyed this book!! It is very lighthearted and a fun read. I loved how it was short but not too short and had such a good storyline. Freya and Luca were so perfect for each other and I just loved them together! I love a mafia romance but sometimes you just crave a story that is on the shorter side but still amazing and this was definitely that!!

They were so cute and I loved how we got a glimpse into their future together aka having a family and getting married. I also loved how he was so sweet and protective with her but such an alpha mafia boss when with others. I loved how feisty she was but also such a kind and sweet person. I also loved the chemistry they had and the sexual tension. He just fell in love with her so quickly and could not get enough of her! I loved how she grew stronger in herself and grew as a person.

Everyone go check out Cameron Hart, she is an amazing author!! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!! This is one of the many books of hers I have read and she definitely doesn’t disappoint!

OMG, What can I say, after reading the first book in this series, I was totally hooked with this author. This story follows the characters Luca & Freya, these characters had such amazing chemistry between them. The story is filled with suspense, danger, drama, love and lots of sexual tension. This book will keep you reading till the very end. I recommend reading book 1 first which is just as gripping as this one.

Such a great story. Luca is older, so serious, quiet, broody and he finds that Freya is very much annoying. Freya tends to go out of her way to annoy Luca with her antics. She's loud, runs through the mansion bare footed, shouts across the rooms, blasts her radio. But she finds that when her past comes back to haunt Freya, then Luca is determined to care for her and she's just as determined to let him. Opposites attract. There is drama, action, with some sweet, and plenty of hot steam. These two are perfect for each other. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Hacking His Heart

Freya caught my attention back in book 1 and I've been anxiously awaiting her story ever since...what can I say, with her sassy attitude and headstrong determination I felt she was a kindred spirit.

I absolutely melted at Luca's soft (only for Freya) interior, there is just something about a hard and tough mafia man being all ooey gooey for his lady that just gets me.

This was a great story and a fantastic continuation of the series and I can't wait for more!
