Short but Good story

Very interesting plot with characters that were engaging. Nice set up next book in series. The heroine’s desire to take out villain was bit typical for this genre but well done.

Not realistic

I didn’t believe this story; while the storyline was promising, it wasn’t realistic. Jake transferred from NOLA to Norfolk to start over after an incident. Aaliyah recently lost her best friend and roommate to violence. Jake is sent on an undercover assignment to take down gang leader DeAndre. Aaliyah is on her mission. The story is very convoluted from the start of the undercover assignment until the end. None of it made sense to me. This story lacks research.
