Be careful of gargoyles who can't commit...

Wynne's had enough of tall, dark, brooding males that aren't interested in her kind of love--the "until death do us part" kind. Attracted to unattainable men, she's in uncharted territory when not just one, but two males show an interest in her.

One's a gargoyle with muscles of steel and a deep, sensuous voice to match. The other, a dark, seductive fae with a smirk that can melt panties.

The problem? The men are on opposites sides of a war.

Caught between the two, who will she choose?

A love triangle romance that will leave you breathless and wanting more.

Wynne Becknell is a witch who just brought the gargoyle Damian back from the brink of death. Telling him to leave the bandage on his wound, he pulled it off and flicked it across the room. She was very attracted to him, but seemed to fall for the unattainable type. Damian’s loyalty was to his goddess and the war against the Fae. She had been hurt before and knew not to give her heart to this one, thought she didn’t realize how much he cared for her. He was preparing to leave, but waited to keep her safe until she could move again. The goddess Rhiannon had sentenced Wynne to freeze at dusk and dawn every day and all night each month during the three nights of the full moon because, in a fit of rage over the rebuke of a gargoyle, Wynne had let the protection spell over his stone figure lapse, and his stone form had been destroyed. So this was her punishment.

The Grand Mistress Aveline, head of the witches’ council, came by to tell Wynne to come for an interview. One of the members had been caught with a Fae lover. He was killed and the witch killed herself rather than live without him. Wynne was one of the candidates to replace her. Wynne had unknown power just beginning to show itself, and some of the council wanted her with them.

Fae Zain Roldan and his partner Marco Valentelli watched outside of the witch’s house. Gwawl ordered them to capture Wynne and bring her to him. They speculated on why but came to no conclusions. Many eons ago, the goddess Rhiannon had spurned Gwawl and in retaliation he created the Fae. He selected the bad souls as they entered the Otherworld to make an army. Rhiannon, to protect humans, selected the questionable souls and threw them into gargoyles to serve in her war against Gwawl. She also gave them the chance to become human once again. Zain had seen the witch 3 months ago walking home, and he felt an immediate attraction. But they were at war, so it did him no good. Now he had to capture her for Gwawl.

Damian was moving toward his boss, Drake, to fight Fae when he saw two coming toward him. He blended into the wall and heard Marco and one he didn’t know talk about capturing Wynne! He fought them, injured Marco, the Zain escaped, grabbing Marco and taking both of them back to the Otherworld. Drake called out with his mind for Damian to join them killing the Fae because they were outnumbered, so he could not go to warn Wynne yet.

By the following night, Neira, Wynne’s cat familiar, told Damian that Wynne had been captured by a Fae and taken to the Otherworld. Although Damian couldn’t dematerialize to the Otherworld to follow, he would find another way. He vowed to do everything in his power to rescue Wynne, even if that meant sacrificing his own soul. Could he follow her? Could he find and save her? And how could Wynne be attracted to both the gargoyle and the handsome Fae?

This was a well-written story that pulls the reader right in as the story line races along. The characters are well-drawn and feel real to the reader. Even Zain, though one of the bad-guy Fae, has an aura of goodness in him, distinctly different from the other Fae. His attraction to Wynne is also unusual and will put him in a precarious position being on the opposite side of this war. Grab your copy of this exciting story and follow along as Damian tries to rescue the woman he cares for – who may also be cared for by the enemy! Things are definitely heating up! And Wynne is no helpless victim either!

Action, sacrifice & a fight against evil but focus is NOT on gargoyles!😟

3.5🌟stars
I have to admit, the heavy focus on fae and witches in this book surprised and disappointed me. I've been hooked on the series and enjoyed its first two stories because of the brave gargoyles. It is a gargoyle series, after all. They are laced into this story but they are not really the main protagonists.

Wynne, the healing witch who has been with the series from the first book in a supporting role, takes center stage and I am conflicted about whether I like her. She's childish sometimes and I grew tired of her constant "I hate you" carping in the first part of the story. She's continuously tested and somehow manages to forget about the poor gargoyles evil god Gwawl tortures for his amusement. I guess falling for a mortal enemy and dealing with mommy issues distracted her?😕

Zain is an interesting and tragic figure with an interesting backstory and, despite his evil doings as a fae he contrasts so clearly with Marco, who's been a major thorn in the gargoyles' side since book one in the series. I liked the uncertainty his ambivalence gave to the story.

I felt this book did get better as the urgency picked up at the climax, and the ending was sweet, but I could not shrug off my discontent that gargoyles only played a very secondary role in the story. I am not really that interested in tales about witches.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Loved this story about Wynne a witch who is cursed because of a selfish act and her journey of discovering what she truly wants in her life. A witch has died on the council and Wynne is being interviewed for the open position. On her way home she is taken by Zain, a Fae who tells her Gwawl wants to meet her. She wakes up in a damp cell in the Otherworld where she meets another captive across the cell from her who happens to be her mother, Victoria, who has gone missing for 13 years. Zain arrives and takes her and her mother to Gwawl, God of Pain. Gwawl wants Wynne to replace her dying mother that is powering his dark crystal. Gwawl orders Zain to make her learn how to power the crystals from a book given to him by Gwawl. Wynne and her mother are taken back to the dungeon. Zain can not read and has felt inferior by others so Wynne offers to teach him. Zain is drawn to Wynne and tries to take care of her, but he has orders and if not followed it is a death sentence. Wynne begins to see that Zain is not evil Fae, she's been told about and she is drawn toward him too. Meanwhile Damian, a gargoyle, who pledged to protect Wynne and also has feelings for Wynne, is distraught that she was taken and hitches a ride to the Otherworld by threatening a Fae to take him so he can rescue her? Who will she choose Zain or Damian? This story has action, romance, twist and turns and a engaging story line that kept me flipping the pages to the end. I decided to give book three of the Gargoyle Night Guardian Series a chance, despite my ambivalent feelings about book two which felt very high schoolish to me. Have to say this one seemed to have tumbled back down to grade school with the number of times that Wynne said, “I hate you” to Zain. Heck even at one point he told her that it was getting old.

For a witch that was supposed to be so powerful or at least going to be very powerful she had a tendency to react to things rather petulantly and childishly at times. I get finding out certain things about her mother could cause some emotional reactions but at times I wanted to say take a breath and think rationally don’t react like a brainless twit.

Zain’s ambiguity about working for such an evil entity as Gwawl fleshed out his character a bit. Plus his illiteracy gave him a vulnerability that made him seem more human like.

For a book that’s supposed to be about gargoyles it was pretty thin in that area, since the main focus seemed to be more about fae and witches.

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

This utterly mesmerizing, amazing gargoyle series by Rosalie Redd just got a whole lot better and more enchanting with Love Bewitched the third book in the Gargoyle Night Guardians series!

Wynne's story was waaaaay more than I expected and so incredible and heart stopping good! I fell so in love with Zain, a fae who should of been the enemy but turned out to be someone so completely sexy and sweet and completely honorable. And then, at the end, I get a unexpected twist I didn't see coming that left me completely happy and even more in love with Zain than I originally was. This is definitely my new favorite in this series. Between sexy and irresistible Zain, and feisty and honorable Wynne and noble and caring Damien and all the heart rending moments, this book left me in a major book hangover! Love Bewitched is beguiling, sexy, enchanting and downright beautiful. I can't wait for the next one because these book are just too addicting!

Love Bewitched gets a SEXY FIVE AND A HALF BEWITCHING STARS!

Entertaining story with unique ideas! I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about Wynne because of her horrible, petty actions in the first book, but she showed that she has grown as a person. I do think she should’ve thought of saving the trapped gargoyles a lot more, but she does have a lot on her plate with being kidnapped and all. Enjoyed getting more story with the witches; the magical elements were cool, and I’m still loving the gargoyles too! The world building is really shaping up too! Plus, more with the Fae! There’s a bit of a love triangle but not really, it’s pretty obvious who Wynne has the more passionate connection with. Gargoyle Damien and Fae Zain are the two guys catching Wynne’s eye. The romance does move a bit fast; I did feel like Wynne should’ve put up a bit more of a fight and not been swayed by gifts and her lust, but I did love the deep connection formed between Wynne and her guy; some good steam going on there! The development of the story really drew me in; some fun action and scenarios going on. Excited to read the next book!

When Wynne’s aunt died that left Wynne responsible for the Becknell clan of witches she took that very seriously but there is one thing that Wynne will never have and that’s true love or to be put no 1 in a man’s life and have children, Wynne has had failure after failure with men they are intimidated because Wynne is a witch. There is one man that Wynne is interested in and that’s Damien he’s a gargoyle married to his job so she’s not going to be his mistress but she just can’t help being attracted to Damien. There is a man hiding in the shadows he’s been ordered to take Wynne to his master Gwawl but Zain wants to know this woman but she is the enemy and he has his orders. This is an entertaining and fascinating story with plenty of action, adventure, suspense, danger, twists and turns, drama, passion and so much more I loved this story and I definitely recommend this book.

All is right with the world and the Becknell family!

Yearning after the wrong men for so long, Wynne has finally found the love of her life. Zain, a fae, and Damien, a gargoyle, are both smitten by Wynne. Both fight hard to keep her and she has a hard choice to make. When Damien is captured and tortured by Gwawl to become one of his captives, Zain makes the ultimate sacrifice for Wynn. I loved this book more than the others and it was well worth the wait. I cried for Zain and his pain, for all Victoria's pain and suffering as much as for Wynne's losses. When the ending finally came I was jumping up and down with happiness and satisfaction. I'll say it again, I loved this book! I requested an advanced readers copy of this book and the thpughts and opinions are mine alone.

Wynne is a witch who has yet to come into her full power but the god Gwawl wants her.
Wynne its a witch who due to her birthmark is expected to be the most powerful in ten generations but the god Gwawl has instructed the Dark Fae Zain to bring her to him in the Otherworld. Zain had seen Wynne months before and found himself unable to forget her but knew he would have no choice but to kidnap her.ON her way back from an interview with the council she encounters Zain who snaps a gold bracelet on her wrist which curbs her powers and transports her to the Otherworld. As he takes her to the cell where she will be kept she finds that her missing mother is in the one next to hers.

I did enjoyed this book. If you have not read the others in the series you need to. Now not because of this book but because they are so good too. The character of Zain pulls at you, he is wrote so wonderful. His thoughts, his weaknesses he talks about, the fact he he is fae yet he only kills the humans that are evil. As Wynne and him spend time together you see even more of his character.

Wynne now she is little spitfire! She takes on the far and the god. Wanting to help the gargoyles is her first priority, but she want to help Zain as well.

I really enjoyed this book. You gotta get through the first few pages but then you can not put it down!

A romance story of witches, gargoyles and Fae. What happens when you die? If you are an evil soul you may become a Fae that preys on humans. If you have a soul that can be redeemed you may become a gargoyle. The witches and gargoyles protect human kind from the Fae.

Wynne is a witch and because of the timing of her birth she supposedly will have more power than most witches. What it will be is unknown. But the Fae want her and that is never a good thing. Zane is Fae and will have to trap her or face a death that is final. Damian is a gargoyle that tries his best to protect Wynne. Now you know the main characters but their story will take you on an insane adventure. Plenty of twists are involved. Romance is in the air but that is never a given when evil is trying to kill you.

okay so!

I did NOT see that coming, no ma'am, I did NOT! And no, I will not elaborate, or spoilers make!

This is book 3 in the series, but you don't really need to read the other 2 before this one, but it might help, is all. Some things happen to Wynne in those books that have a direct impact on her here. All is recapped though, so just a recommendation, from me, but not necessary.

Wynne is a Witch with a habit of falling for the wrong guy. She is paying the price for what she did now though. When she is taken to the Underworld by the fae, her life is truned upside down in more ways than one. She finds out some things that she really did not want to know, and some things she really needed to know.

And Like I said, I did not see it coming!

I was . . .not struggling . . . just plodding . . . .I think is the best word, plodding along with this book. It was a nice easy read but not really doing very much for me. Then, sometime after 50% things changed and I read the last half of the book in less than an hour!

I was thinking about dumping this, I really was, but Ms Redd pulls a blinder with this one! And I REALLY cannot say anymore, for fear of giving it all away!

So, ONLY because it took so long to get going, and now because I am left with questions about certain gargoyles and the other witches. ..

Damian is the gargoyle who protects Wynnes family from the fae. Damian and Wynne are attracted to eachother but know they can not and should not be together. Wynne is a very special witch meant to be a leader, teacher and protector of others. Zain a fae with strange abilites is sent to kidnap her. Damian blames himself for not getting back in time to save her. Now he feels he must reach and save Wynne. Zain and Wynne are oddly very attracted to eachother and she is fighting it. Zain finds himself doing nice things faes do not do.

Book three in the Gargoyle Night Guardians series. A well written story with a very good storyline, I was not putting this book down until I had finished it. Wynne has so much to overcome before she gets her happy ending. She has two men in her life gargoyle Damian and dark fae Zain. There is suspense, drama, danger, witches, fae, gargoyles, twists, turns, magic, finding her missing Mother, jealousy, a goddess Rhiannon and Achos, her dragon-like constant companion, Gwawl a villain, a mistake, a sacrifice, and romance. I recommend this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wynne was introduced earlier in the series and made some bad choices. She is paying for those mistakes. Wynne has two dangerous and very tempting choices. She doesn't want to repeat her mistakes and fall for another gargoyle who won't ever truly be hers. Zain is an even more dangerous choice as he is a fae and supposed to be her enemy.

I have read all the books in the series which I do recommend. It is good to have that background as these characters were part of the earlier books. It helps you understand their choices. I really liked Zain as I got to know him and his background. There are some big surprises along the way.

This is a well written book with strong characters and an intriguing story line. The author does a great job developing the story and pulled me in with all the action, drama and suspense as well as the romance with Wynne trying to decide which man she wants. She brings vividly painted scenes with her detailed and descriptive writing and had me glued to the pages reading. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one.

This amazingly well-written book 3 in the Gargoyle Night Guardians Series with great characters make a great story with cursed/punished to be a protector, or gargoyle. These characters have developed well over the series as they are introduced, each have their curses broken as they find love. Each of these stories have action, adventure, twists/turns, chemistry and romance. This book is a must read in a great series from a must read Author. I bought the rest of this series

"Love Bewitched” is the 3rd fan-freaking-tastic must read in the new ‘Gargoyle Night Guardians’ world. This fresh new romantic PNR story has it all, with magic, Fae & shifters, action & suspense, plus surprise twists and turns. The 3 main characters, Wynne, Zain & Damian are entertaining and kept me on the edge of my seat turning pages! ... I never write spoilers or recap blurbs, and even tho I volunteered to read this book, it was without any outside influences. So yes, I can honestly recommend this to adult 18+ fans of fiction, and can’t wait for more!

Wynne fears she will never have a love for herself as she always wants what she thinks she can't have. This time it is the gargoyle who is good or Fae who is evil. But the Fae, although he kidnaps her and takes her into the Otherworld where her mother is, shows her through his actions that he is not evil. They fall in love and he gives up his life in the Otherworld for her. But little did they know in doing that, the Goddess deemed him worthy and gave him back his human life to be with his love Wynne.

I'm quite fond of paranormal romance for many reasons. This series, about gargoyles, is a wonderful aside; who hasn't fantasized about a statue, or doesn't remember the animated series "Gargoyles"? ;) While I'm not usually a fan of love triangles, though, this one did surprise me, and I'm happy I took a chance with it, because Wynne definitely deserved her HEA! There's twists and turns and a lot of dithering, some hot moments and lots of feels. Best if read with the series, though is standalone.

Wynne was a witch told to help the gargoyles to keep fighting for goddess Rhiannon they were fighting the fae that god Gwawl created because she rejected him. Wynne also found out who her father was and it was a shock to her and fell in love with a very special man that the goddess gave back his life for doing something that wasn’t shelfish! The witches had a few bumps in life to conquer and they did!

(Warning: part of a series, but each have different sets of main characters within their world, each book has its own HEA)

I cannot get enough of this author and this series!

Intensely sensuous, wrought with emotion, and so well written that I absolutely could not put it down!
Each book has been cohesive and enlightening to the overall theme between these characters.
