This set of books is definitely worth the investment of time and money. Set in a textbook manner, this set includes exercises for applications as well as illustrations and tables to help explain conjugation of verbs, usage and dialects for particular areas of Spanish speaking countries.
I read these alongside doing Rosetta stone. I found it a helpful supplement because Rosetta Stone uses an immersion style and doesn't stop to explain things like grammar or the logic of tenses and conjugations.
The books contained in this volume covered a wide volume. I recommend it as a supplementing source to Spanish learning. I gave it 4 stars, because often there were examples of Spanish text translated into English and the English translations appeared grammatically strange and sometimes incorrect, as if the author had just run Spanish text through a google translate. This led to some confusion, but overall it was still helpful.
The book is well organized and very helpful for reviewing Spanish. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in brushing up on their spanish.
