Four men, four weddings, one bonding ceremony that fuses our souls together.
But after all that, it only makes sense that if the universe has gifted me with four smoking hot princes to marry, that I get four smoking hot honeymoon nights and one smoking hot two-week honeymoon with all of them.
It’s hard work trying to keep up with that many marriages though, you know? Binding myself to them makes my dragon finally break free and finding who I was always meant to be is incredible, even if my dragon is a sassy diva with a big ego.
Our honeymoon gets cut short though when a threat we thought was neutralized comes back for another round, and hopefully we get there in time to play hero.
Kelsey Soliz is a homeschooling mama of four and army wife, and when she's not drinking copious amounts of tea or playing bassoon, she is dreaming up all kinds of romance story scapes or reading them like a maniac.
Nothing happens until almost the end of the book. I’m glad that we spent so much time on the weddings and the honeymoon and getting to see the group grow as a family. But again, basically nothing happens in this book.
Spoiler- “Well, you know that we put Adyson under lock and key, in the cells that are supposed to be top notch in security and strength.” NO! We don’t know that because it was never addressed in the first book and it is only being addressed now near the end of the book!!
You find out what happened to her sister at the end after a minute reference during the weddings and then never again until they say she went home. Which could’ve been referenced at the initial statement.
I like these characters though and the story is good.
Well, I'm normally a huge Soliz fan, and I still am. But this one was a little anticlimactic for me. The Grandmother died and there was nothing to show for it. No normal grieving the only parent she ever knew. There was no teary goodbye with Josephine. The Adyson incident was over and done with in a blink of an eye. The Guys talking to Isla about the kingdom was just dragging on and on. Even some of Isla's dialigue had to be skipped. The sexy times were pretty average. Nothing too steamy. I guess I can see what this last book is about.
Okay...soooooo, I’m seriously digging this series. This book was told from only Isla’s POV, so that was a little disappointing. I was glad there wasn’t as much angst as the first book. Seeing the weddings and honeymoon, all of them just getting to know each other better and Isla finding her dragon was all pretty epic. I was surprised that the loss of her grandma was sort of glossed over since she basically raised her. Wondering if a spin off of this series would be cool...get on that Kelsey 😉
I am a huge fan of Kelsey Soliz, and have read and enjoyed a few of her books now.
This book was a lot slower than the 1st one and it took till about 70% for it to start to liven up a bit for me. There was plenty of steamy scenes not to mention 4 weddings and a private beach honeymoon. It didn't really move the story on a lot, but was a pleseant if a bit long stroll though the next part of their life.
On the plus side who doesn't enjoy when dragons eat their enemies :P
I feel a little bad about giving the second book of this series 3 stars instead of 4, but that’s where I feel my interest levels lie. I enjoyed the continuation of the story and the development of the characters and their relationships. I will be reading the third and final book after this. Overall, it was a cute character driven story and I’m liking the outcome!
Honestly, if someone was paid to proof read this, they need sacked. Multiple errors made me grind my teeth reading this.
I like the story. But. Typos, missing letters (‘an’ instead of ‘and’) coupled with the fact that at one point it says “the four of us” when there are five main characters, is just negligent. Ruins it for people who can’t cope with the lack of pride displayed here.
This series has been wonderful from the first page. I have fallen in love with the four brothers but in particular with Isla. Watching her become has been marvelous, falling in love with the brothers, but more falling g in love with herself. Am looking forward to the next book.
I love how this author gets to the point. I mean the constant slow burn and cliff hangers I have been reading have been burning me out. These books have been a breath of fresh air. Minus one star bc it was repetitive in thoughts and things being said so I had to skim a lot. I am so here for Lander and Atticus!
Cute RH fantasy story about a dragon shifters. Some funny parts, a few mild darker scenes (kidnapping and assault) and lots of spice. The brothers are quite likable. Fun story… can’t wait to see what happens in the last book. I saw a review talking about MM, that is another book.. these guys are 4 dragon shifter brothers.
I enjoyed this second book of this series! I am kinda having a hard time with some names being switched and FMC is repetitive in a lot of her dialogue but I am enjoying the actual storyline overall i would give it a 3.5!
This book was better edited than the last one but still had quite a few errors. I liked the story line and how each of them got their own wedding, and all that time on the island together. I was also sad to hear about the royals. I hope that book 3 is better than all fo them.
I really enjoyed this book, it kicked off where the last one finished. It’s a unique storyline that kept me engaged, it well written with such detail you just fall into the book. Looking forward to book 3 to see what happens next
