Lucas Storey’s life is all about college, studying, and finishing his medical degree. That’s until he moves in with his older brother and meets his motorcycle club friends. Only, new people make Lucas nervous, almost to the extent of peeing himself, but he soon realizes they’re great people and will accept him as he is. Now, if only he can stop thinking of a certain grumpy biker, things will be good. Never before has Wade “Wreck” Williams noticed the same sex, or at least not until Lucas crashes into their lives. And notice Lucas he does. But that’s not all. He wants to get to know the man, and he kind of likes looking at Lucas too. None of it makes sense, and Wreck will fight it for that reason alone. When Lucas thinks he can go out with a someone who’s not Wreck—and jealously rears its ugly head to a point Wreck just has to step in—it’s clear that he may just be wrecked forever.
Wreck Me Forever is book one in the Polished P & P series by Lila Rose. This is my very first book by Lila. This is a M/M, age gap, gay awakening romance.
Lucas Storey is twenty two years old and is in his last year of college, on his way to becoming a doctor. Lucas’s parents sold their house and were out of the country so he moved in with his older brother, Zion, so he could finish college. Lucas is a shy, awkward man who has always known he was gay but has never been in a relationship. He knew his brother was in a motorcycle club but had never met any of the other members. But now, living in Zion’s house, that was about to change. That was when he first saw the most gorgeous man he had ever seen.
Wade (Wreck) Williams is thirty four years old and was a member of the Diamond MC. He was with a group of other club members going over to Zion’s place when Zion’s younger brother walked in. Wade couldn’t look away. He was straight. He had never, ever noticed another man before in any sort of romantic or sexual way. So he was completely confused with his reaction to Lucas.
“What was I going to do? Did I walk away or take what I want?”
Wade fights his attraction with all that he has. But when Lucas starts talking about going out on a first date with someone from college, the jealousy he feels eats him alive. He can’t let it happen. Lucas is his, and he’s ready to claim what belongs to him.
I loved watching Wade give in. I love it when they accept what they don’t understand and just go all in which is exactly what he does. No hesitations. He’s in love with a man. Also, this isn’t your normal MC Club. They have morals. They treat each other with respect. And I can’t go without mentioning Lucas and Zion’s own parents. They are hilarious and so adorable.
This was an enjoyable read. Lucas and Wade might have gotten a rough start and had a couple of road blocks along the way, but their dedication held strong. I can’t wait for the next book in the series which will be Kylo’s story.
“He was my sanity, my calm. I couldn’t see my days without him in it.”
This is a m/f romance masquerading as a m/m romance. I’m not trying to be harsh but that’s what it is. From what I’ve seen, this author has only written a few m/m books and...it shows.
I’ve been wanting to try one of hers so I guess I can check that off my list now. I don’t think I would read another. Although never say never. Despite myself, I feel curious about book two. But it won’t be at the top of my list.
At first I thought it was going to be just what I was in the mood for. A possessive, alpha male. A MC Club. Bisexual awakening. Hot right? And it was. At first. Until nothing else really happened. By the end, I knew no more about Wade and Lucas than I did at the beginning. I didn’t know why they liked each other other than for their looks. I get it. You two are hot. And with the exception of a silly side drama involving a classmates of Lucas’s, there wasn’t much plot at all.
Back to the m/f feeling. It was the dynamics and actions between the guys that made me feel like it could be a m/f book. Just substitute Lucas’s name and anatomy for a girl and you’d have a hetero romance. I’m not talking about all m/f books. I don’t read many these days but I have read a lot over the years and there are some excellent ones. I’m more talking about the super cliche ones. This felt like one of those. And it wasn’t what I was wanting. 🤷🏻♀️
And now I’m rambling. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk? 🤣
So, as I read this, I thought this is a solid 4 stars for me. But you know what, I'm giving it 5 stars. It was just what I was looking for. It grabbed me from page 1. Lucas is a shy, awkward, bumbling nerd and Wreck is a grunting possessive motorcycle club guy who's never been with or even looked at another man but he can't keep his hands or eyes off of Lucas.
It was sweet but not completely fluffy. Wreck did struggle in the beginning. And, though there was a motorcycle club involved it wasn't heavy on club business, really none at all other than just a briefing on what their businesses were. Plus, the club is accepting of all types of love so if you're looking for a nitty, gritty MC book, this won't be for you. But if you're like me and love a possessive, alpha hero and a sweet, shy nerd, this is your book.
I'm looking forward to Kylo's book. August seems like a long way off...
Well, This is one of those times where I say I liked the idea of the story, not so much the delivery . The premise wasn't the problem. What's not to like about the sexy growly alpha biker who was straight until - bring in younger, med student who blushes, stutters and trips. Endearing and all. There is a very hot dry humping scene, that's all I got for my positive.
The delivery though... sigh. so bad. A lot of telling instead of showing Endless inner monologue MC voices not distinct enough during dialogue Such corny names, truly: Wreck, Saint, Death, The Polished Pussy *smh*. Wreck was uninspiring as a character, not a lot of depth to him. Lucas was a little better, mostly I liked that he had this bubble he entered when he was studying where he loses any sense of self-preservation or awareness of his environment. . Honestly my favorite character was Death, idk why but I took a liking to him.
Blah so yeah, meh. I read it so something held my attention. But I honestly was ready to finish it and move on to something else. Not very memorable.
It's been way too long since I've read a book from Lila Rose but this was a brilliant story to jump back into her writing with. Lucas was so easy to like and I loved all his quirkiness and shyness. It made him an adorable character to get to know and the perfect match for Wreck who was his complete opposite. Wreck was confident, even when it came to his new feelings for a man, and I loved that he pushed forward and didn't run away from them. It made the sexual tension between him and Lucas so captivating and when there were moments where Wreck would get jealous it was even better.
Bottom line, this was an amazing story and officially one of my favorites from Ms. Rose. I can't wait to see what else will come from this series and characters that I've already fallen in love with.
2.5 stars? It was cute, sexy and funny. It was also incredibly cheesy, OTT, not very believable. And it got a little boring around the 70% mark.
Also everyone kept treating Lucas like he is a child. Oh and they initially say he is finishing his premed and then all of a sudden he is a doctor? What about med school? Small detail?
The writing also annoyed me. Like the author was trying too hard to get them to talk like tough bikers but still be romantic.
Overall Opinion: This was a cute, fluffy and light, super mushy story that I can see lots of people loving. It was instalove galore and for those that love instalove — this is a great way to get into the mm romance genre if you haven’t already! I’m just personally not a huge fan of instalove or the mush. I didn’t feel like it was very deep and we didn’t get any real conflict for the couple, but it was cute for what it was and just an okay read for me.
Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Lucas and Wreck’s story. Lucas is in college to be a doctor and living with his older brother who is in an mc. Wreck comes to their home one night with other mc friends and Lucas forms a strong crush instantly. Wreck has never been attracted to any man before, but cannot deny the pull he feels towards Lucas. After some denial and pushing away, Wreck gives in to the attraction and starts his pursuit of Lucas. There are some cute scenes, some mild conflicts, and some sexy times...and they get a HFN ending.
Point Of View (POV): This alternated between Lucas and Wreck’s POV.
Overall Pace of Story: Good. This was a quick read where I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well.
Instalove: Yes
H1 (Hero #1) rating: 3 stars. Lucas. I liked his quirky ways but I didn’t feel like I really connected with his character.
H2 (Hero #2) rating: 3 stars. Wreck/Wade. He was an alpha possessive biker. I felt like I didn’t connect with him either.
Sadness level: Low, no tissues needed
Push/Pull: Yes
Heat level: Good. They have some good tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not so much it takes away from the story.
Descriptive sex: Yes
OW (Other Woman)/OM (Other Man) drama: Not really, some jealousy for both
Sex scene with OW or OM: No
Cheating: No
Separation: No, once they get together they stay together
Possible Triggers: Not really other than the H2 is ~12 years older than the H1
Closure: This ends in a good place but with what I would call a HFN ending
Safety: This one should be Safe for most safety gang readers
With MC club members named Saint, Death, Wreck, Country, Quake, Torch, and more, we get an entertaining biker tale that is a bit unusual. Lucas,22, long hair and slim, is living with his brother while he studies Pre-Med, and he comes "out" to his brother, "Saint" and his folks. There isn't much reality, but we are interested enough to enjoy the big, bad, biker, Wreck/Wade, 35, muscled and hunky, become smitten with the med student.
This is a GFY, "gay for you, tale" because Wade has never taken a second look at another man, until Lucas, only Lucas.
I liked the variety of characters, the men's secret dating and sexy times, which are explicit and hot, with firsts.
We see relationships, awful women, terrific family and the path to true love. Yes, there is violence, and a big reality check for a domestic abuser.
We see where this is going, and the men fit each other well. ENJOY !
So, this guys are still in high school, or something... I only got till 58%, and I pushed myself to get there.
I mean, Wreck is an MC, and Lucas is a lovely nerd, I'm fine with that, but then they meet, and some guy says something offensive and Wreck goes all alpha, he's my mate I defend Luca's honor, and they had just met. So they fall for each other in seconds, and their actions are so childish and macho man that i just couldn't. It's ridiculous really, so no can do.
This book reminded me why I don’t read MF romance anymore. Wreck/Wade is a typical MF romance grunting, growling possessive asshole without any redeeming qualities (being handsome is not a quality!). I finished the book and I can’t tell you anything interesting about him. Lucas was sweet but his character can easily be replaced by a female character. Wreck was, of course, an instant gay sex God and Lucas the blushing bottom. It would have been so much interesting and not so cliche if Wreck f.i. had bottomed as well. Besides their relationship, which goes really smooth, nothing else really happens. The incident with the classmate was uninteresting. Also, the names of the businesses where ridiculous.
I see a lot of 5 stars ratings from people who usually don’t read MM romance. This fits really well in their MF romance template, but it missed the MM romance mark completely for me.
DNF at 80%. After reading the meet the parents scene, I give up. People do not talk this way. Easily one of the dumbest scenes I have EVER read. 🙄
All of the grunting and obsessing by Wreck (now I see how dumb that name really is 🙄) turned his character into an asshat. The insta gay didn't help either. When he lost his appeal, the other squeaky, yelping, silly little guy with the girl curls couldn't hold an ounce of my attention.
If I had to show an example of a terrible gay for you trope, I would use this book.
I appreciate gay for you trope because it's fun and it has a lot of sexual tension and you get excited for the final act of them getting together. I believe that for the gay for you trope to work the two characters have to spend tie together and actually get to know each other for a bit (just like in enemies to lovers trope). In this book the main characters do not spend time together nor do they get to know each other, not in a way that Wreck could actually start to question his sexuality and feelings for Lucas. Now, this is my opinion, but I believe it is so stupid that all it took for Wreck to realize he is into Lucas, was to see him for the first time. That is something I will not accept. Because of that, they lack the emotional connection that will make you love the couple, I am sorry, but that is the way it is. Wreck's behaviour is troubling as well. He is the alpha male but he just seems super controlling and scary and I really hoped that Lucas would tell him off so that he would have to change a bit.
I also have to point out the way these characters talk, it is ridiculous. From the members of the Club refer to each other as brothers all the time (we get it, it's their thing) to talking about having sex as in "taking someone to bed".
It's just a bit too much, and in the end, you realize you wasted your time on the lousy book.
Tropes: age gap, MC, secret relationship, brother's best friend Feels: 4/5 Steam*: 3.5/5 Kinks: n/a Angst: low HEA: yes Pairing: MM Triggers/potential icks/content warnings: violence, unsafe sex
Reviewing this after a reread. I wasn't writing reviews back when I read this the first time.
Lucas is 22 and he's going to school to become a doctor. He is gay but in the closet when it comes to his family. He's not terribly experienced. He's a bit of an oblivious character, he doesn't know how attractive he is, and he gets into his own little world when he focuses. His older brother is in a motorcycle club. He moves in with his older brother. He starts to have a crush on Wreck aka Wade, a 34 year old MC friend of his brother's.
Wreck is intrigued by Lucas and protective and possessive of him. When other guys start trying to get with Lucas, Wreck decides that is not happening, he wants Lucas for himself. Lucas is Wreck's bisexual awakening, he'd only been with girls before. They take their relationship slow, Wreck doesn't want Lucas's brother to forbid their relationship.
There's a nice fondness and protectiveness between them. The characters are likable. The story and relationship unfolds in an entertaining way. It's funny how a couple people around them realize the relationship before they come out with it.
One thing that I didn't love about this book was how it was written in such a way that I could hear the cringey syrupy drawl that Wreck spoke with. He talked to Lucas as if Lucas was a damsel in need of protection and this was an old school country western. Bit cringe.
Some notable moments:
It's so adorable how oblivious Lucas gets when he is focused. "“He had the door unlocked while having his head in a book and music playin’. He didn’t even look at me when I entered. Didn’t even listen when I said I was goin’ to kill him.” Had he said that? Well, dang."
This is such a nice reason for keeping their relationship secret. Secret relationships usually aren't secret for good reasons. "At least with Death there, we’d be able to scare the others shitless to keep their mouths shut before Saint got between us with his threats. I wanted us to be stronger before that happened because I didn’t want to worry that Lucas would listen to his brother."
*FYI about steam: I rate steam based on a combination of quality & quantity. I note kink separate from steam because I don't want to underrate steamy reads that don't have much kink.
**Note about spoilers: I like to comment on the plot of a book in reviews, so I almost always mark my reviews as containing spoilers. But I try to avoid spoiling the big dramatic moments! As a reader, I personally like to know what I'm getting into before I read a book so I know more about the content and if it's to my taste/mood, so I try to give that information in my reviews for myself when I'm considering rereading and also for other readers.

I’m just not enjoying this. It has two of my biggest pet peeves
1) when women in MM books are depicted as “sluts” “whores” or these crazy psychos that break down every second. Do people genuinely think that’s how girls act....?
2) when relationships move too fast - relationship started 10 minutes ago and you’re already threatening to charge any other guy they look at? Don’t get me wrong I love crazy jealous possessive alphas as much as the next girl....I just prefer it to be believable
This is the first book I've read by this author. I really enjoyed the strong chemistry between the heroes and enjoyed their romantic relationship. I also liked that they really seemed to like, love and appreciate one another. Loved how possessive Wreck was and enjoyed watching them truly fall in love.
6/6/21 rereading this book so I am ready and refreshed to finish all three books in this series. Its still a good read to me.
It’s good enough but the story line is foregettable. I like the found family and overall dynamic between the MMC’s but it’s not the type of love I’d see lasting a lifetime mostly because it’s very BLAND. But hey if you like it, I love it. Do with that what you will. I will be reading the next book tho
Silly!! Silly fun. I loved it. I could have done without all the terms of endearment. So Wreck is suppose to be this bad man, doom and gloom never been with a dude. Yet as soon as he sees Lucas he smitten??! And he’s all in. Bam!! Just like that??!! Although their relationship was adorkable, it was still a bit cheesy. (Which I liked by the way)
This didn't really feel m/m to me; more like a typical m/f new adult-ish read. And yes, I realize that men can be femme (there's nothing wrong with it either), but Lucas didn't seem like he was written to come across that way imo. I think the m/f vibe I got was mainly to do with the tropes in the relationship between Wade and Lucas. It felt very Abby and Travis Beautiful Disaster-ish (or insert any New Adult Alpha Male novel). I feel like I would've liked this book if it had been published ten years ago. This book didn't hit me in the gfy feels like some of the other books in the sub-genre have.
Also...Polished Pussies and Penises? Is that the best wordplay that the characters *cough* author *cough* could have come up with? They should've just named it something completely different. Eh, I won't do any better but I'm bored so:
Quality Quim and Cocks? 😂
Oh, well, I'll just exit right here lol...

⭐️4.25 Stars⭐️ Bring me a jealous, over protective, hot alpha male and I’ll be happy forever! (Okay maybe not forever ‘cause I’m a greedy girl and there’s a lot of hotties out there but you get what I’m saying 😉)
Lucas is a cute, nerdy and gay. He lives with his brother Zion (a.k.a Saint) since their parents moved to Australia. One day he comes home and find there his brother and his biker club’s friends (very manly, HOT friends). From the moment Lucas saw Wade (a.k.a Wreck) he was very attracted to him. But Wreck is big, intimidating and as straight as they comes. Let’s just say Wreck isn’t as straight as he thought and very confused about his attraction to Lucas.
If you’re looking for a simple, sweet, hot (and sometimes cheesy) story with low angst, age gap, GFY and awesome HEA, this is the book for you🙃
So the writing isn’t stellar but it’s totally cuteness overload!
Lucas, how I love thee, let me count the ways! He is clumsy as hell, he rambles like nobody’s business and he’s adorably oblivious!
Wreck aka Wade was straight until he saw Lucas and couldn’t get that cute boy off his mind.
I love bi-awakenings best when they dive in headfirst and never look back. Sure, Wreck had some anxieties. Yeah he went back and forth a little beforehand. But once he decided to get in the pool he didn’t just dip his toe, he jumped in the deep end.
And his possessiveness? Fucking delicious!
Plus, I love when friends/family discover this once straight person is now dickmatized!
This one is a mix bag. Sometimes it was painfully cliche. Other times it was CRINGY. And then the rest of the time you’re actually shipping what’s going on.
So it’s not bad, just could’ve been better.
Thing is, I genuinely liked Lucas. He was easily flustered, blushing, stammering and stumbling. He was described as cute and adorable and innocent, so naturally I expected he will be an emotional doormat.
Im glad I was wrong. He’s all what’s above but he’s not stupid. He finds his spine when it’s needed. He’s not an idiot. He knows when to put boundaries to himself.
So cheers to that.
Wade/Wreck on the other hand...he’s an alphahole. Yeah that’s the only description i can come up with. And caveman style. I think if he could pick Lucas and beat on his chest while chanting ‘Mine!Mine!Mine!’ I wouldn’t really be surprised.
Honestly his character was very one dimensional.
Also side note: women presentation in this book was shit. When are we going to get over this “whiny needy clingy” women stereotype in MM books.
Other than that the writing style and structure of the book was the thing that carried to to the last chapter.
Lila Rose delivers another stellar story with Wreck Me Forever . I seriously melted in a big pile of goo by the end of this story , I was giddy with glee , smile stretching wide across my face and it all had to do with the two sexy, funny, growly, gorgeous, smart, quirky lovable men that are Lucas and Wade (Wreck) .
Lucas Storey is all about the study life, he’s at college studying for his medical degree. He has a one track mind and that’s to become a doctor, so not being lucky In his love life gives him more time to dedicate to putting all his time and effort with school. Recently he moved in with his older biker brother and we start to see that one track mind start to slip. Meeting Zion’s biker brothers has make the quirky, extremely nervous Lucas stammer and stutter more times than he would like . Until in walks Wade ‘Wreck’ Williams and that level of uncomfortable nerves hits an all time high. But through all these times that puts Lucas in situations way out of his comfort zone, he starts to find his family increases through the love and support of his brother Zion’s “Brothers”
Wreck has never been into guys, he loves women and always has, until he sets his eyes on Lucas Storey and what he always thought about himself , changes in the blink of an eye.
This GFY story was just perfect , Lila Rose knows exactly how to deliver a story that’s filled with humor and substance, I got all the feels from reading this and had many laugh out loud moments. Watching Lucas and Wreck navigate through their mutual desires, undeniable chemistry , many many fumbling moments was such a joy. This is a story about self discovery, acceptance and a whole lota love.
I would recommend this book to anyone. Easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ given .
I simply fell in love with this book. It’s well written, the storyline is amazing and I simply adored the characters. While this isn’t the start of a biker series (it’s my understanding that connection to this book is to come later) it is the start of what this reader thinks will be a very fun and romantic series known as Polished P & P - you’ll understand that when you read this book :).
Lucas just stole my heart. He is a young college student who is smart, shy, clutsy, geekish and somewhat still in the closet (meaning he hasn’t come out to his family yet). Since his parents sold their home and moved, Lucas moved in with his older brother Zion. Zion is a part of a MC - a club that seems to be loaded with older sexy men. When Lucas meets Wrecked, he is star struck. He almost instantly develops a huge crush on the sexy, domineering and very Straight biker. The more he’s around Wreck, I mean after all his brother’s biker friends are over at the house a lot, the worse his infatuation gets - but there’s no harm in looking right?
Wreck is a part of the Diamond MC. He is a tough, sexy biker who doesn’t take any crap from anyone. He didn’t have the best of homelife as a kid and has found a home with his MC brothers. He helps run the strip club with Zion - another perk of MC life as it’s easy access to all the women. When he meets Lucas for the first time, something inside him sparks. He doesn’t do men, hasn’t even ever done a double take at one, so why does he feel so protective over the shy nerdy kid who’s several years younger than him and simply gorgeous?
This is a fantastic M/M romance that left me breathless on more than one occasion. Watching these two come into their own and find that “missing something” was simply amazing. Kudos Ms. Rose for giving us a wonderful book with bits of humor, lust, romance and action all rolled up into a terrific storyline. I Highly Recommend Wreck Me Forever and this reader can’t wait for more from the Polished P & P and the Diamond MC. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.
